Best Western Plus Midwest Inn & Suites

They mattress on the pull out couches desperately need to be replaced. Would have been nice if we had been told during booking that the pool was under renovations. Greatful that they had a pool available for fuests at the hotel right across the street. The breakfast was great, and the lady that works in the restaurant was AWESOME!!!! Will definitely book here again.

Well lit parking. Very nice staff and breakfast was very nice. The ladies worked hard to please. Very attentive to you. Very quite. Would recommend it.

There is no slide and hasn't been for over a year. Pool is totally closed down for months I guess so they can remove the non working slide. Won't refund your money even when the only reason you came was for your grandkids to swim and slide. They don't have anyone you can call to try and get a resolution. It was all quite ridiculous. Would never recommend this place.

We booked this place because of the water slide but when we got there it was closed off. There was no wifi also. The beds are kinda hard. The staff was amazing though. Very friendly.

First off - they gave us a key to a room that had people in it. Then they kept giving our room key to other people so people were barging in ALL DAY LONG. ZERO safety. The front desk staff were accommodating but the hotel is the worse I’ve ever been in. Pool was dirty, slide was closed and wifi wasn’t working.

Grandkids and I stayed overnight with the sole purpose of getting in as much swimming as we could….we were VERY disappointed that the pool was closed until 10:30am which meant that we only got to swim the previous night and pool closed at 10:00pm….most hotels have the pool open by at least 8:00am and leave open until 11:00pm….

facility was advertised as having a pool and a waterslide online. This was the sole reason for us booking this hotel. As soon as we walked into the property there was a sign on the door that said that the pool was closed for renovation/maintenance. I requested to cancel our reservation and was given a cancellation number and told that I would have my reservation refunded. However, this did not happen and I was charged for a hotel that I did not even stay at. Tried to get this rectified with Expedia, who could not even get the property to refund. poor customer service and was essentially lied to by the front desk staff shame on you best western.

Staff was very friendly, but WiFi was out the entire night. Room was clean. Best breakfast I have ever had at a chain motel….two flavors of wafflesw/ assorted toppings, several different kinds of yogurt, etc. wonderful pool that was deep, clean and actually warm enough to swim in! The water slide was the cherry on top. The parking lot was safe and well lit. Will stay here again.

My son and I were supposed to stay here for one night. We chose this hotel as it had a decent looking pool with a slide that we could pass the time with. When we arrived to check in, the front door had a sign saying that the pool was out of service for maintenance. There was no mention of this on any website for this hotel. We decided to stay anyway as it was only one night. When we went to use the door from the parking lot closest to our room for ease of access with bags, we were met with another sign saying that the card reader for the door did not work. Again decided to look past it. When we made it to the room, it instantly smelled like urine. My son even made the connection immediately. When standing by the air conditioner, it smelled like someone had urinated in the air conditioner and the smell was being pushed out when the air blew. Not only is that disgusting, but a significant health hazard. I decided to leave at this point. I voiced my complaints to the woman at the front desk and she was kind and apologetic. I asked for a refund for my stay due to the conditions and she told me that she would pass that request to her manager and that her manager would call me. After several days, still no refund or call back from the manager. There are several other hotels in the Salina, KS area and I would highly encourage anyone to stay at any of the other hotels.

We traveled to Salina for a basketball tournament. In our whole season, this was by far, the best hotel we stayed at. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the room was clean, and breakfast was good!

Floors were not swept anywhere in hotel. Hot tub in room was dirty. Staff could not print out my receipt in the morning during checkout ( i needed this to get reimbursed from my employer). I had to switch rooms because of toilet was inoperable. Rooms seem very outdated and worn down. Will never stay or recommend this place to anyone.

Room had a stale smell. Hallway carpet not swept well along the edges. Hide a bed very poor sleeping. Pretty pricey for the age and condition of the hotel.

We arrived around 7:00pm on 10/25. We went to our room (109) and the smell of cat urine was extremely strong. I went to the front desk and notified the lady on duty and asked if there was anything she could do? She replied, “oh they should not let cats in that room - they must have done that again.” She handed me a bottle of green liquid in a spray bottle and said it would kill the smell and if the smell came back, spray it again. She was right, the smell kept coming back and the spray did cover the smell for several hours at a time. I mentioned this to the lady on duty when we left at 4:00am on 10/27

There were blood stains and hair on the pillows and sheets. The staff changed the room, but the sink in the new room was blocked.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and a great breakfast. Have stayed twice almost a year apart and will definitely stay again if passing through.

Nice enough, has a pool and breakfast. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, it had a nice work space. Getting a bit dated, plug ins are sparceno USB ports for phone charger,, that kind of thing. Otherwise a good stay

The room was great but the soundproofing is slightly lacking as there were children someplace yelling and hitting a ball or some sort of banging. Breakfast was amazing!

We’ve stayed here multiple times, perfectly located between Dallas and Denver, very friendly, very dog-friendly, clean, comfortable, affordable. Only negative: the TV screens are terrible - I complained a year ago and they still haven’t been replaced.

This would easily be 5 stars, except the TV needs to be replaced. Mentioned it to front desk and they knew about the issue.

Pleasant check in. Room appears to be very clean and it's spacious enough for 2 people. The shower wasnt very powerful and not much in hot water, just warm. Had to set the a/c to 60° to get the room cooled down.

TV needs to either be repaired or replaced in room 213. Smoke alarm’s battery needs replacement. And the lights in the bathroom were very dim for the size of the room.

Room was outdated. Restroom toilet seat needs replaced, lots of wear and tear

First of all…I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed, get there and it’s just 2 queen beds, I tell them I booked a room with a sofa bed also, he says “sorry, we’re all booked up” he then brought us a cot. I booked a specific room weeks ago and did not get that room.. second of all, the noise was ridiculous, you can hear every single shower turn on, the walls are paper thin..the noise was ridiculous. Worst stay ever.

The pull out bed needs replaced. It was gross! Stains and the mattress was so thin. Not ok. Had to sleep on the closed couch because the pull-out bed was terrible. The two other beds were ok. But that pullout bed was terrible. Also there was no bedding or pillows for it. So after checking in had to go down at midnight to get the bedding with no pillows

Great towels and comfy bed!

This was such a nice hotel! We got in super late at 3AM and accidentally booked the night after online. The staff was accommodating and made it an easy fix. We also were thoroughly impressed with the amazing breakfast and the employee working there. She was so sweet and accommodating to us and our 3 kids! Wish we had been able to stay longer!

We arrived late and I knew there would be a problem with my reservation as I had to change my dates through a 3rd party booking. The staff was great and made the check in a non issue. We were starving and was given direction to a 24 hour Mexican restaurant that was perfect. Beds were great! We slept late and just missed breakfast. Again the staff went the extra mile and let us fill up togo boxes with delicious breakfast foods. There was an amazing assortment! Best hotel breakfast on the trip! 10+ rating for the staff! The hotel is a.bit older but our room was clean and comfortable.

This was a very comfortable stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, especially the bed and everything was clean. The woman who does the breakfast was just as nice as all the comments we read said she was, and the breakfast was very good. It was probably the best hotel breakfast we’ve had that came included with the room. There were also a lot of gluten-free options, which was great. The young lady who checked us in at the front desk was very sweet and she even called to check that we got into the room OK and that we didn’t need anything. While the hotel was affordable, it was a little bit more than the other options in the area. However, it was worth it. You definitely get what you paid for. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through.

Everything about this hotel was above my expectations. The room was very clean and beds were comfy! The breakfast had excellent choices and the lady in charge of the breakfast went over and above to make sure we were taken care of. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

No one was at the desk upon checking in but they had a buzzer. Took a minute for someone to come. Upon checkout, no one was at the desk and no one came out when I buzzed them, so I just left. That was the only downside to this experience. Everything else was great.

The staff were great! They made a huge effort to make us feel comfortable and my son to feel special on his bday. Everything was nice and clean, with a great breakfast every morning and extra snacks at the complimentary coffee bar. Although the slide for the pool was out of commission for renovations, the pool was kept clean, and slightly warm with plenty of pool toys and gear for the kids to choose from. They had a blast! Miss Jo who made breakfast every morning was so sweet and diligent about her work. She was a joy to interact with the kids. Someone needs to get her a new toaster because it’s about at the end of its life and she’s definitely earned it! (Lol) Thank you, and if we’re back in Salina, we’ll definitely stay again!

Very friendly and thoughtful staff.

Showed up to check in with my family (including 3 kids) after driving for 7 hours and was told they gave our room away and they were full! We made a reservation weeks in advance. The manager was rude, didn’t care and showed us the door. STAG AWAY!!

love our stay here. Family friendly, front desk greeted us when we check in. We had a big family here for Graduation and rent 4 to 5 rooms. The best part is that their family run and make you feel at home. Breakfast was awesome. Next time we go back and visit to Salina this place is where we going to stay at.

Tried to go for a short walk, but ran into some shady people laying around the sidewalk, loitering. So we had to turn around and go back. Other tan that, experience was great.

It served its’ purpose as a stopover during a long roadtrip. Clean and comfortable. Front desk Check-in was meh. Close to a lot of things to checkout in Salina. No issues

We stayed one night with a pet. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfy. It had a nice area for walking the dog. Would stay again.

Very nice, affordable hotel. It’s about 7 miles south of I-70.

It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Grass areas were well manicured and parking areas were well lit.

The breakfast is great, fresh eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, waffles and more. They ran out of OJ. The WIFI was an on/off thing. I would stay here again. Clean, safe, and treated like a friend instead of a customer.

Great breakfast service, and kind employees!

This hotel was perfect for our needs but the highlight was the sweet woman running the breakfast. She was sooo wonderful to us and our kids and the breakfast was delicious and fresh.

The king bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The pool was nice (the slide was out of service). The breakfast was very good with hot choices ( scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, oatmeal, waffles) and cold choices ( cereal, yogurt, fruit) and even breakfast egg, sausage, cheese wraps pre-made ‘to go’.

Service staff were awesome, breakfast was real scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. They all take pride in their work and it shows

The breakfast was great! She even made sure the hash browns were fresh. There were lots of fresh choices. Amazing service!
