Wyndham Garden New Orleans Airport

I realize they are undergoing renovations, but there is absolutely no excuse for the condition of hallways, rooms and lobby, NASTY

Room was filthy. Hall were filthy. Literal trash all up and down the halls. A slime on the floor in my room. No shower curtain. Filth on the walls of my room. Bad moldy musty smell. Mildew growing on the glass in all the artwork. Mismatched curtains. Hair and filth in tub and in bathroom.

When I opened the closet door to place some clothes inside, I was greeted by a dead cockroach on the floor. The sofa in the room had stains on it and the hotel was just overall dated. There was also a smoky/dingy smell in the hotel. I know that renovations were occurring, so hopefully that will at least take care of the updates.

The room had a terrible smell. The tub was clogged. The pool area was so dirty with dead bees everywhere. I will not be staying here again!!

If it wasn't for the location, right next to the convention center, we would not have stayed here. The room was ok, the air conditioning was pretty bad (it either ran constantly and the room was uncomfortably freezing or we had to have it turned off) and there was a cockroach in our room day 1. We were unable to move, as there were no other rooms available, and our compensation was 4 bottles of water and a bottle of milk. The shuttle times were not helpful, 8am - 4pm, which meant we weren't able to use it ever. And there was never breakfast - always said closed.
