This was a pretty good place within walking distance of downtown and the French Quarter. The entry setup feels safe but some places walking around feel a little sketchy and are smelly. The bar is closed - possibly permanently. It’s very convenient having a full breakfast and dinner ordering option, though the breakfast was often pretty slow which made me late for a meeting. Much of the staff was helpful.

Excellent customer service at the front desk. The entrance is a bit confusing. If you’re driving, parking is inconvenient, it’s preferable to walk. Great location.

The Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter/CBD is located conveniently close to the French Quarter & central business district. It's walking distance from public transportation and businesses (i.e., restaurants, shopping, entertainment, etc.). I like the fact this location has a self-service laundry facility, fitness center, & rooftop pool. Only wished that the hotel offered free hot breakfast. Otherwise, this hotel was an excellent stay!

The carpet in our room was filthy, actually needs to be deep cleaned. The faucet on the sink was extremely loose and the bedding was dirty. On the 2nd room, the door was literally off the hinges and you have to push it woth your shoulder to open it or lift and close so it doesnt slam hard from yakining it clsed. Also one when we stopped in the lobby to buy some waters, the staff member had a mouth full of candy and continued to pop the candy in his mouth and try to talk at the same time and wipe his hands all over his pants. It was very unsettling and unprofessional to be honest. Finally, the valet sevice took over 25 minutes to retrieve our vehicle when we needed to make a run to the airport.it was not convenient at all.

Very difficult parking but offered garage. Unfortunately only daily rates so needed to pay a full day when our flight didn’t get us to the hotel until 4am. Our room was downgraded. Front desk staff was not available. Pantry in lobby not stocked with water or any beverages. Downgraded room was not clean. Rust and hair in shower. Black marks on the sheets of one bed. Blue stains on pillowcases.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The 2 times we needed something, they were there within a few minutes. Our room was clean & spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Room key was required to go anywhere in the hotel, which added to the security. There were lots of great restaurants close by.

The entrance to the building could have been cleaned more often as well as the elavators. The maid did not sweep/vacuum bathroom or room same dirt on the floor and carpet sonce we arrived. The shower leaked all the time.

Hotel is in a good location, but the beds left much to be desired compared to other Garden Inn locations. The sheets didn't fit the bed and the mattress cover was visible every morning. The mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. The carpet was just gross in the room. The staff was very friendly and we liked that we were in walking distance of all the things we wanted to see.

Entrance is ugly, you need go to 11 floor, but first star on Ground behind big parking. You can found best hotel with same price. At night when you sleep you can hear elevator noise also if someone use shower pipe noise don’t let me sleep.

The room was very spacious and clean. The only issues I had were that there were no luggage carts to be found upon check-in or check-out, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The mattress felt very worn and cheap. After a long day of walking the quarter, the mattress was not the ideal resting spot. I ended up sleeping one night in the chair in the room due to how uncomfortable the mattress was.

This property is in an okay location, but the rooms are extremely outdated. The front desk attendant was so pleasant, which was probably the best part of this hotel. Valet attendants were beyond rude during the day time and extremely nice at night. They tell you to call down 10 minutes early, just to call down, come down and still no vehicle. Oh, and then sometimes I call down and no answer. For $40 a day…never again.

We got to the hotel early at like 130 and Hendrick the wonderful guy at the service desk was able to switch our room and found one that was ready so we could check in and drop our bags so we could go explore bourbon street

Check in took a little longer than expected, even though my reservation was seen in the system by the desk attendant. They did not tell me what to tell the garage personnel to let them know that my garage fee was already paid for with my room. Also, the amount for the parking was $10 a day more than what was listed on the website. The room itself was nice, but the coffee machine didn't work and the iron was leaking water. Then after I checked out, I was charged over $140 for a reason I don't know since the entire stay was paid at check in.

Front desk girl could not be any more rude. The man working was nice. We had to haul all of our luggage up to our floor ourselves with no luggage rack. Ridiculous. Guys parking our car were okay. We didnt need our room cleaned but they didnt have enough towels to replace ours when they asked if we needed some. I will not stay here again. Will spend the extra money at Nopsi but staying in the FQ is where I will stay from now on. And I didnt get any $ back from the security deposit.

The property was very good for business people but seemed to lack a family atmosphere. The front desk clerks were outstanding. You had to use a tablet to order food for meals. My wife asked one of the cooks for a straw to drink a soda and was told there were not any available. Less than a minute later she saw the cook put straws in a bag for a carryout meal.

The location is convienent. If you’re looking for a bed and shower this place is fine. The dining room experience has much to be desired. On one evening, the iPad to order food was not working so I could not order or pay for food… staff directed me to a QR code on a card which was not in my room so we skipped dinner that night. This place definitely does not meet the standards of other Hilton Garden establishments that I have stayed in.

I have to say that this stay with Hilton was much better than the last. I would like to shout out Gregory the server/bartender with the American Grill restaurant inside the hotel. He went above and beyond during our dinner there. He is an amazing human being. He’s funny, courteous and treated my mother like the queen she is. He was such great. The cook in the back, she was amazing. Please let her know that her “well, well, well, we’ll, done” steak my mom asked for came out delicious. Thank you all again for making our stay here exceptionally great.

Best thing hotel was the food. Great food. Rooms which were supposedly newly renovated were not the greatest. Staff was super great. Hotel carpet in hallway smelled weird. Getting into the room you had to slam your body into the door to open it. Shoulder is hurting. Bathroom shower doors stuck. Took a bit of power to turn on the water in the shower. Bed was hard not normal for a Hilton. Best things about this place are the staff and the food.

An ionizer was blowing full blast when I got in my room. The drawers got stuck and so did the bathroom door making a loud noise every time we opened it. Breakfast was not up to par for a $19.95 breakfast buffet. The omelette was half burnt and the dirty rice was hard and dry. I was really disappointed it being a Hilton. Valet was kinda pricey for $40 a day. On a positive note, the room was spacious and right next to the pool and fitness center (oh but the door kept getting stuck to go in the gym but I guess that was a sign I didn’t need to be there)
