Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

Two issues. The pool - the reason we booked the Omni Royal - was closed until June. None of the email correspondence mentioned the closure. In fact, every email highlighted the pool. The second issue….there was a feces stain on the bedsheets. Not small either. Sadly I didn’t notice it until the morning so I slept on it. So either housekeeping didn’t change the sheets after a very messy guest, or they somehow missed an 8 inch long brown stain. The front desk and housekeeping apologized, but did not seem particularly surprised. For all this - breakfast was comped.

I would have a very difficult time saying which person was the nicest.

Our stay was wonderful. This hotel is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. We were walking distance from everything. The staff was amazing. Rooms are clean but could use a little updating as th ere were spots in the carpet as soon as we walked in. Not what i would have expected in an expensive suite. It was super cold in the room even after adjusting the thermostat which appeared to be controlled somewhere else, but staff accommodated us with extra blankets. I would definitely stay here again.
