Harrah's New Orleans Hotel & Casino - A Caesars Rewards Destination

The elevators to the casino from the old Harrah's hotel was out of order at the time of our stay, so had to cross the street.

Loved this property. Only thing I was disappointed with was there was no hotel store to get snacks and amenities like aspirin , bandaids and that kind of thing!

When you come to gamble, and spend money and a round of drinks are..$70 plus dollars for a round of 6 people...when we were all playing machines is to much. Not oncluding the $160 for the room...and $40 to park...just not good. We all decided to go to Biloxi Mississippi...much better everything. Drinks are complimentary 100% all day.

Property was in great location but the $40 a night parking fee was not good

This is located between the Quarter and the Convention Center, with a ton of dining options in either direction. The casino is a nice getaway (even for light gamblers like me), but the table minimums are too high. There's a lot of confusion regarding the hotel brands and where guests will actually be staying. Even though my group booked at Caesar's, half of us were moved to Harrah's. It's not a big deal, but walking back and forth with bags wastes time. The parking garage, elevators, and tunnel between brands are GROSS. Simply deep cleaning and painting would make a huge difference in the guest experience. Overall, a good experience, but there's plenty of room for improvement.

Room was in need of upgrades. Lots of stains around the room. I don’t believe paying $70 for overnight self parking is reasonable for the area. Should be validated for hotel guests.

Good quick fix, but no pool and parking is harder

It was very clean and nice and the staff was good. It just lacked amenities, such as a hot tub or pool, breakfast, quiet lounge area, a view, etc. Some of those I knew going into it, but others I didn’t. It was fine, but I’d look elsewhere next time.

We booked this room for the annual Zulu ball which means it was extremely over priced. Upon arrival we noticed immediately the room was not clean. Trash from previous people still on the floor, smears on the bathroom wall, hair in the tub, etc. We were moved to a different room because of that but it wasn’t much difference. I feel cheated for paying as much as I did. I honestly wouldn’t stay again. If I thought I could I’d request a refund.

Overall the stay was good. There were weird stains on the furniture throughout the room!!

Super clean well kept hotel with a great View

Hotel room was very sad . No wastebaskets no tissues no microwave and a refrigerator that was broken. Coffe maker did not work and staff kept making excuses. Checked out a day early as the shower was moldy and never refreshed towels . Stayed two nights out of 4!

Rooms were not clean. I had to ask multiple times to get house keeping to come reclean the rooms. Then they offered me a $100 credit but didnt say when it would expire. I went to use it right after i checked out prior to leaving and since i “ checked out” i couldnt use it and they did not even offer to make up for it. Horrible experience. Wont be staying here for 350$+ per night ever again. Go to the sheraton or other hotels for more reasonable rates and cleaner rooms

This hotel leaves much to be desired related to cleanliness. Not only are the carpets stained and ripped which happens sometimes with older properties, surfaces in the room had not been cleaned for a long time. The dust ruffle/base of the bed was stained. Fabric on the headboard was dirty. There was difficulty getting extra towels. The bed sheets and bathrooms appeared to have been cleaned for the most part. We did not complain because we knew it was a super busy weekend but I would not want to stay here again.

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! Since our reservations said "Caesars", we went to Caesars. When trying to check in, we were informed that our reservation was actually at Harrah's. The bellman (Larry) brought us and our luggage through the Caesars casino, across the street to check in at Harrah's, all the while directing us to the various areas of the casino. While it took a minute, and everyone was so courteous, displaying our reservation for the correct hotel would have been nice to know ahead of time. The room and bathroom (giant tub and large walk-in shower!) were spacious. The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. While it looked clean, the floors were super shiny! There was quite a bit of dust on the mirror and artwork frames, some mold in the shower between the glass and the tile, and the shower head had so much calcium (?) build up on it that you almost had to run around the shower to get wet/rinse off (it was spraying in all different directions). Also, the water went from scaling hot to ice cold a number of times during my 1st shower. (My second shower was much quicker, and it only happened once.) I warned the other guests with me, so they also took speedy showers. Our "Do Not Disturb" and "Housekeeping" lights were completely broken - not attached to the wall at all - and were blinking/on the entire visit.

Everything was great except we were directly across from the elevator so we got to hear it go up and down all night. The room itself was great and bed was comfortable.

hotel was very nice overall, only thing was that there was no microwave. Room was on the pricey side, so i assumed they would have that atleast, but overall nice stay here

The suite was great

The room was spacious! Not enough plugs for cell phone, watch and ipad, etc. No bars of soap in bathroom for hand washing.

Premium room had a good view of the river. Started by stopping at what is now Caesars and found out we were booked at the old tower away from all the amenities, Check in was extremely slow, room was nice but there were indentions in the floor and and several stains on the floor, TVs were small and would constantly lose picture, and when we had door dash delivered to the room since we were apart from the Caesars tower, the concierge just let our food sit at his counter without letting us know then when we went to get it he questioned it and then sniffed it, very weird! Had to pay resort fees which this was far from a resort, paid full price for valet even though we didn’t get the vehicle after arriving, so my advice, there’s better places down in this area of New Orleans.

THE WORST HOTEL STAY! I stayed at this hotel first they didn’t have my room ready until 7:30pm which is fine things happen. They told me the delay with the room was because they were waiting for management to check it over and make sure the cleaning crew did their job. They called me and said the room was ready. I go to my room and there are people inside the room. I went to the front desk and had to get a new room the front desk staff didn’t even apologize just stared at me blankly. Then assistant manager came and offered us the bare minimum to refund our resort fee. The next day I went and spoke to the main manager and she told me I can’t help you I wasn’t working yesterday. What are you the manager responsible for what happens regardless if you’re there or not. The room was also pretty beat up I say if you are looking for a place to stay in New Orleans this is not it.

Excellent service

This is a beautiful property with lovely rooms. I’m on the fence as to whether I would stay here again however. The service was not up to par for the quality of hotel. I literally could NEVER reach the front desk. They have a very convoluted system which has to go through the sister hotel (the Harrah). The result is that none ever picked up the phone; not even once. The staff even suggested complaining about it because they said it was inefficient. Their restaurant system is also very odd. One has to order from the restaurants in the casino and have it delivered or be picked up. I ordered from Bobby Flay’s for delivery. The staff has apparently unplugged the iPad which receives orders to plug in their personal phones and didn’t know I had ordered. 1.25 hours later no order. I had to go downstairs to find out that the order wasn’t even started. The cashier was actually going to charge me for a new order that I would have to wait for. Did I mention that I’m disabled so walking all of this distance was a chore? A lovely woman dressed in black who appeared to manage the whole area stepped in and comped the meal, asking the staff why they would be trying to charge me for their incompetence? She was great! But the experience overall with this left a sour taste in my mouth, no pun intended.

Knowing it was a massive oversold weeekend with Taylor swift in town, etc, you would think they would be very prepared. Front desk and concierge were amazing but the rest of the hotel were mediocre at best. We did not get our room cleaned for our entire stay (Thursday-Sunday) and my husband had to go retrieve clean towels for us. A very disappoinying stay. I will never return my to this property again.

When checking in, my parents and sibling checked in first and when requested that their rooms be on the same floor, the receptionist claims that it was not available due to limited rooms left for that day. But then when I checked in, I was given a room on the same floor as my parents. For the receptionist to make that false statement due to pure laziness to check. On top of that, I was given a double queen when I booked a single king was another disappointment. When trying to make the correction, I was transferred several times due to confusion of staying at the new ceasar or at the old Harrah. And placed on hold forever. And the fact that I wanted to stay at the new Ceasar hotel was also confusing.

The front desk staff was able to get me an early check-in and waived any additional fees. The team was very friendly and accommodating.

Check in was confusing. We went to Ceasar’s as that is where the booking was made, to be told we were in the other tower and then had to drive over to Harrah’s to actually check in. We stood at four different desks before we were actually checked in. Our room was not very clean. There was hair all over the bathroom floor the first time we went in to use it. There was dust and finger prints on the lamps and end tables. The linens on the bed smelt a bit musty. There were stains on the sofa and carpet. If we didn’t have such an early flight and were going only spending about 10 hours total in the room, I would have complained, but as it was we were leaving at 4am so it wasn’t worth the complaint. The valet and bellhop were friendly and informative, i appreciated their service.

The location was very convenient with many areas like Bourbon Street and the Riverwalk within walking distance.

Nice property located in a great area and convenient to major places like canal st, bourbon street, and Frenchman street. Great eats around the area as well.

I love staying at this property when I go to New Orleans. Centrally located to French quarter. Plus Ruth Chris is downstairs.

Clean rooms, great access to the French Quarter, Riverwalk, etc. Dining options in the Casino were good.

I enjoyed my time here. The restaurants were good and the room was nice. Only thing I would say is they are very understaffed, so not everything was open all the time. Also our room was not cleaned on the first night, but I think this was due to the understaffing too. Overall the property is beautiful and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Convenient to convention center. Large rooms. No room service. They have CaesarsEats app where they charge double the actual price and then never bring the phone. Bell hop is very nice and professional. Could never get front desk in the phone when i had an issue. Two of their restaurants closed the entire time i was there not impressive

The hotel is good in general , but it lacks good food options, there is no breakfast , and for dinner they only have an expensive food court inside the casino that closes at 12 am, so if you are playing in the casino after that time you don’t really have an option. The room and the parking lot perk is amazing. And the staff is good too. The gym is very basic. The good side is that you have a lot of options in walking distance including the outlet.

Casino was lively and fun. I ate at my work conference breakfast and lunch. The Shake Shack was awesome. Room was clean the bed and pillows were so wonderful I slept great.

My stay was Simply Beautiful! The Water front view, is a site to see morning noon or night! THE RAIN from my window magnificent♥️The room service on time, and perfect the food Superb!!!
