I’ll go easy on this review since this honestly would not have been my first choice of hotel, but based on the heavily edited photos online my husband thought it was a nice place for me to stay while attending a family member’s birthday celebration in New Orleans. The booking was last minute and we later realized it was an extended stay hotel, but I was traveling alone, arrived late, and was too tired to switch hotels. The rooms are outdated and definitely need renovations. The lighting is very dim, the bed felt hard, you can hear people walking above you, and the water pressure in the shower is low. The shower head also had buildup that should’ve been cleaned during routine maintenance. I’m also not a fan of the shampoo/soap bottles mounted in the shower — it feels unsanitary, although I bring my own products anyway. The kitchenette was nice and came with the essentials. Valet staff were cool and professional, although valet was expensive. I still chose it for the convenience and added security. Front desk staff were friendly, but somehow both my cards ended up being charged after I specifically said not to use the card on file. The WiFi also stopped working on my last day, so I couldn’t use the TV apps like YouTube and had to remotely log my account out from my phone before leaving. Overall, not the worst stay, but not somewhere I’d personally book again.
