We love the courtyard with basketball/soccer/volleyball/tennis! Staff is really helpful and breakfast is pretty good too.

My 4 star review is based more on the staff than anything else. The staff all provided exemplary service and Chelsea was by far my favorite. She worked the front desk for the night audit shift and she ALWAYS had a smile and a kind word. I was VERY disappointed with the first couple of days. There was a group there and they were taking over all the extra property amenities offered. The pool was too full of people for my family to utilize that service, then when we finally got in the pool area to try to use it, the pool was closed for the day due to that group's behavior. I understand the staff closed it for overall safely, but I wished they had just made that group leave the pool. I do see that it was an easier option to just close the pool rather than deal with the backlash of making that group leave. It was the same for the grill, patio area and tennis/basketball court. There was not way for anyone else to enjoy those amenities based on the behavior of one group. The breakfast was fabulous every morning and had a good selection for whatever you may be looking for. Again, the service from the breakfast staff was perfect. Friendly and stayed right on top of things right until breakfast closed. They didn't let it run out just because there was little time left. Everyone was friendly and the guests that were there were also friendly. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would stay again, though we will probably ask about any groups reserved for that time.

If you're needing a great stay with children, they have a large outdoor court area with pool, tennis court and basketball. Lots of places to lounge outside. The breakfast each morning was wonderful! The only negative for us was the whole hotel area, plus our room, smelled of marijuana.

Very kid and dog friendly. Basketball hoop, net, pool with chest of toys, giant jenga, huge bonfire going all night, continental breakfast with many options including fresh fruit and tasty coffee. Dixie Mill parking caddy corner saves you $20/night. Easy walk to Riverwalk or Bourbon.

The room had a decent size. The shower was horrible, absolutely no water pressure at all. The breakfast was okish. Powdered scrambled eggs are not my fav. The pool was nice and fairly clean. The gym desperately needs an update Valet parking was a joke

Staff always very accommodating and nice. Made a point to make us feel comfy with extra blankets. The rooms are a nice little motel set up w/stove, refrigerator, sink, utensils, dishes, hand washing supplies, and dish washer. Pool was clean and appreciated they had a pool towel station with floaties and toys for children to enjoy. Had a little basketball court. A convinient store where you can buy supplies. From tv dinners to medication to umbrellas. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

I hated that there's no self parking

Nice rooms. The building itself looks like an old factory converted to a hotel. Also, the parking in the area is too expensive.

Hotel was good. Be careful using their parking. We sustained about 5000 damage to our vehicle while it was on their control. Checked didn’t see until we stopped for gas. The valet company has completely given us the run around and will not cover the issue. The damage was done to the front of the vehicle.

The Positives: The nightly price wasn’t bad, we had lots of space, it was a good location for walking to hop on/hop off stops, and the staff was somewhat friendly. The negatives: Parking was $57 a night (for a truck) unless we wanted to park down the road for $30 a night and haul all of our stuff. We killed multiple small roaches every day, there were fleas in our room-we killed one in our bed, and the hot water only got hot two times in the 5 nights we were there. The carpet in the room could also use a good scrub down. Needless to say, we washed EVERYTHING when we got home including the clothes we didn’t wear.

This property has gone down. My room was dusty and dirty. There was a lizard in my room and the food was horrible. Stay elsewhere. The staff was nice. That’s about it.

The breakfast was by far the worst I’ve ever seen anywhere. I took one bite of the eggs and they were inedible. The meat was grey both days (tried two kinds). Even the muffin I took was inedible. The hotel decor looks like it’s from the 70s. The pool was too cold. The kitchen was terrific and the room was spotless.

Our 2 bedroom suite looked NOTHING like the online pictures. We had a main floor room, looked out to a rocky area where people would smoke cigarettes and roll their joints so that was fun with kids for us. The carpet was filthy. We had to ask numerous times for towels to be restocked at the pool. Luckily we just quickly slept and showered there and was doing other things but overall we were not impressed and felt that the pictures did not describe the current property. Breakfast was decent with a lot of choices.

First of all, the staff was nice and accommodating. That is the best thing I can say about this hotel. The room appeared to be clean until you look closely. The carpet gave the room a stale odor. It looked like it needed a deep cleaning. The furnishings were modern but the bed and duvet covers needed to be replaced immediately. Maid service is only once a week. So for my 5days I had to pickup towels at the desk.

My friends room has mice. The courtyard was filthy at night which probably caused rodents. Breakfast was okay, I always caught the tail end. Rooms do not get cleaned daily unless you request 24 hours in advance. Hot water didn’t work in the sink in the bathroom

The staff was friendly, but repeatedly failed to honor simple requests for several days. I had requested the bath products be refilled 3 times, but nothing so I approached a housekeeper who finally did. I requested no housekeeping services other than the refill of products. The carpets were filthy and probably needed to be replaced 10 years ago. Certain places like the elevators and hallways were obviously skipped by housekeeping on a regular basis. There was a funky smell in the room from the beginning. On the 5th day, there was a mouse in my room. Its in a good location and there is value for your money. I dont think it would take a lot to get this property in better shape.

Front desk lady was short and rude, told me I’m too early to check in but they ended up having a room. Tool smelled like burnt Fritos. A few cabinets were wide open. Trash bins were missing trash bags Carpet was dirty

Horrible! Bugs in the sofa and trash/dirty lien in the hallway!

The rooms smelled so bad and like mold. The carpet was filthy and had stains everywhere. When I mentioned the room smelled they said they could come by and just spray a room freshener. We asked for blankets for the pull out the first night and they never brought it. Asked 3 times the second night and still didn’t get it until we walked to the front to ask. It was extremely loud and there was a party going on on the second floor til about 1am. The room was dirty and the dishwasher was broken and leaked everywhere.

The staff qas courteous and friendly. However, we found a dirty shirt stuffed between the head board of the bed and mattress. The light cover in the bathroom fell down and the tv in the bedroom area was disconnected. I called for someone to come but they never came so I connected it myself. The beds were old and hard as BRICKS! They were very uncomfortable.

Spacious room, well-equipped suite. Nice breakfast and pool. Friendly and helpful staff.

I got the worst room in the hotel, right on the sidewalk and street level. They should never give this room to anyone ever again. One week of getting woke up multiple times a night to drag racers going past the hotel, loud motorcycles , people standing outside the windows yelling, it was terrible. Will never stay there again.

This hotel was convenient to where we needed to be in New Orleans. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rates were good, and had decent offerings for breakfast which is always a plus! The rooms were spacious. Our room had a small kitchenette (includes microwave, fridge, small stove, and coffee maker). We found having a fridge and microwave to be extremely useful during our stay. The bathroom was a little small but functional. Our bed was a little bit on the softer side but that's just a preference. Overall it was a nice room with useful equipment, and easy for us to get around.

Everything was great except the beds! The beds were rock hard!!!

It was a comfortable room that had everything I needed. Mattress was VERY firm which I liked but could be off putting for others. The fire pit was a must every night I was there. Breakfast was great. No complaints at all.

Great place for family. Nice and comfortable but walls are thin, could hear people talking, playing basketball late into the night.

Air conditioner was very loud and toilet would sometimes continuously run. Initially there was an unusual beeping sound due to a problem with dishwasher. Bed was very hard. Most of staff was very friendly.

This stay my room showed signs of aging. Outlets were broken, when I plugged my devices in the plug would fall out, I plugged in the iron and it steamed up to let me know that it was on but then I began seeing rust water spots on my clothes, which meant the iron came unplugged. Bed mattress was very worn compared to the bed I had during my previous stay. Breakfast was enjoyable as usual! Oatmeal, fruit, peanut butter, & hot coffee

I left my CPAP machine in the room when I checked out. I didn’t realize this until I was at a relative’s house getting ready for bed a little after 11pm. When I called the hotel to ask about it I was told by the night manager that they couldn’t look for my machine and wouldn’t be able to inquire about it until 10 the next morning. When I told him I had severe sleep apnea and could possibly not wake up without my CPAP machine he showed no concern at all. At least pretend like you care about the wellbeing of your guests. I will never stay at this property again.

Positive: A great location if you are porting out of New Orleans for a cruise or have an event at the Convention center. Close proximity to all key areas including a short drive to the French Quarter and walking distance to a lot of amazing local spots. Negatives: CUSTOMER SERVICE. There is one male counter agent who was very personable but everyone else behind the desk makes you feel like "why are you here?" They never acknowledge you or greet you when you walk in the door, don't make eye contact when you approach the desk for service, and are much more interested in conversations amongst themselves then they are in assisting you. I know sometimes these hotels are limited in the "good people" they can get for these roles, but service is everything in the HOSPITALITY industry. If you don't have it, it is crushing for you location.

The staff at this property is the best. They are friendly, kind and always ready to help. From the front desk to the breakfast crew, they are they go the extra mile. This is my family’s favorite hotel. The rooms are clean and smell good, the property is well maintained and if you need something all you have to do is ask. In addition, the breakfast is amazing!

The reception during our check in was poor. The young lady with the dark short hair from the Ivory Coast was exceptionally rude. However honestly speaking the rest of the staff was friendly especially those who worked in maintenance and housekeeping. Breakfast was fine, nice options. Overall, quiet clean and spacious rooms.

I almost always stay at Sonesta Suites when visiting New Orleans. I think it has even gotten better. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel manager was present every day and he was super friendly to me and other guests. This hotel is convenient to the warehouse district, WW2 museum, convention center. It’s an easy and safe walk to the French Quarter and we even walked to and from the Super Dome. Great restaurants and bars are nearby. I definitely recommend this hotel .

Very comfortable beds and Ken at the front desk went out of his way to help me out. On departure the Manager Taylor stopped bye to simply say hello and ask how my stay was.

The property was well maintained , but one of the front desk clerk was rude.

Great location; very accessible to actuvities, restaurants, and transportation. Breakfast was good and staff was very hospitable. I would stay here again.

Convenient to downtown attractions and the French Quarter.

Loved our stay. Great room, delicious breakfast, conveniently located to so many things we wanted to see and do. Easily walked to the convention center for what we were in town for, but also walked all over the place to so many places we went just for fun. Tram stop close by for when you don't want to walk. Loved it.

Great hotel, close enough to everything, but just outside of the "hot" zones.

Rooms were clean and AC was strong enough to keep the suite at a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was a good mix of foods. Only issues was bath tub didn’t drain fast enough and the shower head was too strong. Some traffic noise but overall area is quiet. Walking distance to convention center and WW2 museum.

It’s easy location

The location is great, you're not in the middle of all the action, but you're only 15 minutes away (walking) from the fun. It was quiet the entire stay. The room had everything we needed. My only complaint was the bed wasn't comfortable. It was very hard/firm. Also do not think you HAVE to pay for parking. We were there 4 days during jazz fest and was able to park on the street the whole time for free. We would stay here again.

Just two blocks from the Convention Center. Safe and walkable.

Close to the WW2 museum.

Great hotel in the heart of NOLA warehouse district. Close to several attractions and the highway. Property was well maintained albeit slightly older. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Complimentary breakfast provided was good. Valet parking although slightly expensive was decent and had quick response. Would recommend the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location to get to the convention center. We had a delicious breakfast daily with many options. The staff that served breakfast and the maintenance staff were so helpful and friendly. Rooms stayed cool and were set up well. Everything seemed very clean except the window ledge which really wasn’t a huge deal.

Staffs are friendly. Nice breakfast and needs more variety. Stayed 3 nights.

Excellent extended stay for a conference. The rooms are large and well equipped. My husband had a nice workspace to work remotely. Breakfast in the am was a nice plus. Would definitely stay again!

The toilets should be upgraded to taller ones. Difficult for seniors to use. Breakfast was awful.

Great location near WWII Museum. 10 minutes walk. Very accommodating to French Quarters. 23 minutes walk. The breakfast wasn't good. Not enough food.
