Spent 2 nights, check in was super easy and the staff was great. Everyone there had a smile on their face and greeted you any time they seen you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub was also very nice. I will definitely be returning.

The property and hotel was nice . Elevator closest to my room didn't work. No one advised or made mention of the issue. Lugged suitcases up 3 flights of stairs before finding out the elevator on the other end actual worked. Other than that the hotel was wonderful.

Staff was excellent. We stayed on a Sunday night. The hot tub was almost cool to me - definitely NOT A HOT TUB. Our fellow guests said the hot tub was nice and hot Saturday night. This was disappointing.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, from start to finish. The front desk team was so friendly and helpful. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and safe. The only downside was the parking - the parking lot is very small so it could be hard to find a spot unless you were lucky enough for someone to be leaving when you were coming in! It’s also a little tight to maneuver in some places if you have a larger SUV.

Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool is in need of some repair. We enjoyed the breakfast that was available to guests. Overall, it was a very good stay. Our room was nice and quiet.

Nice hotel. Parking was an issue. Had to park off property due to being full. Lots of trucks and people living in their vehicle on street where we had to park. No issues with hotel itself

I chose this location based off the reviews from previous guest and the fact that it was close to the airport. My first room smelled like wet carpet upon entering. Due to a late check in I waited until 7am to inform the front desk. They changed my room to another that had a jammed door handle and BEDBUGS! I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED as this is one of our Company preferred Hotels. Never again.

It started out good then went to hell. I was not in my room more than 30 minutes when I got a message that my credit card was charged $400. I went downstairs to find out what it was. Lady said it was a smoking fee. I asked how do you get charged that when you don’t smoke. She went on and said that there was nothing she could do I would have to talk to the GM in the morning. I woke up next morning and took shower. As I was in the shower I noticed that behind me the water was black. I checked my feet and saw they were black. Finished the shower and got out. Took the wet towel rubbed across tile floor towel black. Did the same thing across the carpet and it was black but worse.

The pictures make this hotel look much nicer than it is. When we arrived I noticed that the lobby had a stale smell. No effort to really try to make it smell nice. When we got to our room I went to turn on the air and noticed that the unit had mold in it. The room didn't smell clean...again stale and probably had been smoked in. The bathroom had double doors that didn't lock or even shut all the way. The stark white walls and popcorn ceiling just looked very uninviting. We laid down for a few minutes to rest and the beds felt very worn. I guess you get what you pay for. We ended up having to leave because of bad weather coming in and not wanting to have to drive back. However, we both began sneezing and having issues on the way back...maybe because of the mold in the vent.

The beds are hard. Thin walls. Cleanliness around the grab bars were dirty as well as the air conditioner. The staff was wonderful especially the one training that loved my cup.

Overall it was a good stay. Our floor was a bit dirty though. You didn’t see the dirt but when we had to wipe up when some water spilled on the floor the towel was brown ( from the dirt). It was a busy hotel ( lots of vehicles in the parking lot including a lot of company vehicles but it wasn’t noisy). Of note , there may be stinging nettle grass in some of the grassy areas around the hotel because it got where our dogs didn’t want to walk on it as it hurt their paws.

For a newer building and the rating we were shocked at how thin the walls are. We had driven across the USA for a month staying in hotels. Mostly Hilton and Home Suites. This was one of the more expensive besides Vegas and the worst for sound he stayed at!! We went to our room after driving for 12 hours and the guy in the next room was gaming. It was so loud!! Not muffles!! I videoed with my phone as no one would believe how loud it was without actually hearing it. We went back to the front desk and wanted our money back as he could be playing all night. Because it was Expedia she could not. Now we are stuck. The only room they had was a pet room. It was ok and quiet. We usually do not stay at La Quinta but the night before we had and it was good with security in the parking lot and cameras. At this hotel nothing. For the back parking they did not even have a camera. We had to bring most things into the room.

The room never cooled off. You could turn the thermostat down to 65 but my room never got below 72%. They have it fixed so you can not get the room cool. I had to go to the store and buy a $20 to stay at a decent temperature, totally unacceptable for a $140 a night room.

My key cards never worked. I was constantly going to the front desk to have my keys reset in order to enter my room. I kept sliding the key card several times and it just wouldn’t work. Who wants to keep going downstairs every time you try to enter your room ?

Nice property, it could use some updating, the tv was ready to fall off the counter, very worn out and it took a while for the picture to come in. The room was a little small and only had full beds.

Room was fine, but wish we had picked a different place. Surprised at how small the two beds were. It was a little weird having french doors into the bathroom--that didn't lock. The bathtub needed some attention. We enjoyed the simple breakfast. Staff were nice.

Over all it was a decent experience but the shower for two days was only flowing low pressure warm water, so much so that I and my wife shivered in the shower since only warm water only hits a small portion of your body back and the other use just gets old and wet. Staff tried to their best to address the issue but there were no other rooms available.

Ridiculous. We showed up at 3 am and our reservation had been given to another customer; no big deal right? Guess again. The manager instructed her employee on call to have us wait for an entire hour while they woke up the other customer..instead of just honoring our reservation and giving us a room. They had told us to call Expedia for the refund we so truly deserved but once Expedia tried to follow through with this claim they denied it. Never again :)

I had an amazing time!! Every single employee I encountered from check-in to check-out was wonderful and made me feel safe, as a solo female traveller. Big mention for the lady working the night shift at front desk during my stay, very nice and helpful! I’ll definitely come back for a stay next time I come to Shreveport.

It was an amazing trip, this is our second time staying here and let me tell you we spoke with Timmie on the phone when we were on our way and she even remembered us from our last stay! She provided excellent service and her and all of the staff are so nice and courteous! This is the only hotel that we want to stay at when we visit!

Do not stay at this hotel! They charged my card $100 for incidentals that I did not use and are not refunding my money. In my opinion this is theft!!! The room was not clean and the staff was rude!

Overall, was a good place to stay traveling through. There was some concern about parking lot safety. Also, a man kept knocking on our door at 5:15 am. The front desk told us they gave him the wrong room number. Thank goodness we had the extra lock and latch engaged.

We loved the room. It was comfy and clean. We ate breakfast later in the time slot and they were out of plates so we ate waffles and eggs and bacon in bowls. Not the worst thing ever. The food was good, especially the bacon. Good stay.

We were at breakfast at 7:45 AM and there were no eggs or sausage left. Ended up with a bowl of cereal! Only a few channels on the TV worked (nothing we wanted to watch) the rest were all pixelated! Tried to call the front desk 4 times over a two hour period…calls timed out each time! Left a note at the front desk because the clerk was on the phone for quite some time! Hope it’s fixed before the next person gets that room!

Rooms were very clean Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Very enjoyable stay. We were only there one night. Hot breakfast in the morning was fine. Nothing exceptional but good. Would recommend.

Front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool is in need of some repair. We enjoyed the breakfast that was available to guests. Overall, it was a very good stay. Our room was nice and quiet.

Great service and easy check in, Dogs were happy and breakfast was nice. I worked out on the fitness center and it had all I needed for a great start to the day.

Room #408 was nice, but the temperature set on the wall thermostat produces a real room temperature of about 4 degrees higher. Since the thermostat won't set below 65, the coolest real temperature is only about 69. I told 3 different desk clerks about this, each one said she would enter a maintenance ticket, but nothing ever changed. The pool water smells like it is low on chlorine, and there is green algae growing ont eh wall of the pool near the steps. The hot tub is filthy; lots of sand, leaves, bugs, simply too dirty to think about getting in it. This was also pointed out twice, but nothing was ever done about it. The front lobby is the most pleaeant place on the property, followed second by the tables oustide when it isn't too hot. Though this is a "non-smoking" hotel smoking is allowed anywhere outside so with lots of workers staying here the air outside is foul in the mornings and evenings due to cigarette smoke. There is plenty of parking though the spaces are a tad narrow.

The room was not clean when I arrived and staff cleaned it 30minutes afterwards.then ants was in the room next day,after I told staff,say they was going to spray,after coming back ants was still there No one sprayed.they put me in another room,which was clean but tv will not stay on.bad experience with them,never again

Check in was amazing! The room was in an ideal location. We were able to see our vehicle from the room. The breakfast was great. Beds were clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom lighting was not good and the tub was dirty. The non slip shower mat was not removed prior to cleaning. I feel the price was high for this hotel.

Hot breakfast, clean room, weak coffee, no half & half or whole milk. Adequate parking. Pool was low on chlorine (a little green alage growing above the steps and under the water line). Breakfast lady is helpful, and serves breakfast before the stated time, which is great for workers who need to be on the road by 6:15am.
