Disgusted by the $26 parking fee. Will not book with this company again

We stayed here before departing for a cruise. They offer a shuttle to/from airport, to 4 local restaurants and to the cruise port. It was conveniently located only 4min walk from the subway, so we easily found our way to the freedom trail and back. It’s beside University of Mass. - Dorchester Bay was a nice walk in the morning. There was also a grocery store only 7min walk from the hotel.

Staff are lovely. Close to cruise ship ports and offers shuttle to/from ports and airport!! Walking distance to JFK subway station. Small, cosy bar services the large lobby area and both bartenders were friendly, professional and helpful. No real restaurant but bar food selection was perfect for our needs. Breakfast buffet looked really good. Rooms have individual climate controls - perfect!

The hotel is decent and rooms are quite well sound-proofed, except that you will get some street noise if you are on one side of the building. I chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle service, so I was disappointed with how slow it was. It took me almost 90 minutes from when I had my bag until I was in my room....even though the hotel is only 10 min away from the airport.

Property is dated, no pool, property musty

Average hotel. The room was clean, but the toilet would not flush, seemed that the staff was unable to fix the problem. Gym was small, but clean and had the basics.

Great hotel; close to Logan. Excellent customer service. Greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Room had excellent amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Nice bar with small restaurant counter and decent menu. Very convenient airport shuttle service. Highly recommend

That the hote shuttle was difficukt to access.

You had to PAY to park…. Ridiculous !! Understandable if there was a valet…. But, you parked in a lot that didn’t belong to the hotel ? And the Hotel gets to charge you for that?!!!! Come on….. No water pressure on the 6th floor…. Shower was like a trickle….. I wasn’t sure if I got all the soap off. 14.95 for an 8 onz. drink at the bar with an unfriendly, pushy bartender who wanted to close the bar area by 10 “because it was his Friday.” Needless to say…. I won’t be back…

There were menstrual blood stains on the bedding

This hotel is a great price as I had to be at Logan early the next morning. Great shuttle to Airport, room was clean as a whistle. The bed was so so comfortable. I was really impressed.

I found a pair of underwear in my shower....gross!

My stay at the Doubletree by Hilton was a terrible stay. The room was not clean to my satisfaction there was a lot of dust on the beds head board, on the dresser and on the tv. Also, at my time of check out I didn't receive any paperwork or a email in regards to my stay. A hundred and fifty dollar hold was placed on my debit card for incidentals, and the only charge that should have been applied is the twenty five dollar a day for parking. I received a credit of 47.77 back to my card that was on file which tells me that I was over charged. I have to say I am very disappointed and cannot see myself recommending this hotel to anyone.

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, walking distance from the redline, and overall just a great experience.

I have stayed there on multiple occasions and I’ve always left good reviews. This time around it was a very disappointing experience. The room was not clean, it seems like they just made the bed and walked away from it. I found an empty bottle of mouthwash inside of one of the bathroom’s drawers, hairs all over and it was dusty. I opened the fridge and found food leftover by others. I was given the parking for free as a recompense for the experience, but it doesn’t mean that I will not voice my opinion. I just hope it doesn’t happen again because the place has potential.

The blanket was dirty I didn’t realize until the morning. I did not have anything on the bed so it was not a stain by me. I feel disgusting after having been in bed with dirty blankets used by someone else and not washed afterwards.

Excellent hotel. William provided tremendous service in the Marketplace Cafe. Great fitness center. Convenient. Spacious rooms.

Mattress topper was very lumpy with hard spots had to remove it to make things worse their elevator is very noisy in the middle of the night, thats all I could here was the hydrolics of the elevator going up and down all night long. They claim to have a restaurant... But I dont consider standing in line to order food and then bring to a table or room, food was served in cardboard boxes, it's not a rerstaurant it's a snack bar!

Doubletree Bayside was a great choice for my wife and I. I check in went smoothly, Zach said his back up in our Hilton rewards, which seemed to elapsed. He gave us homemade cookies and sent us off to our room. The room was Immaculatethe beds were Extremely comfortable and we had a great night sleep. Off to breakfast, which I’m sure will be Delightful. We highly recommend this hotel Dan and Barbara

Everyone should be aware that they charge $27 for parking. I have a feeling every hotel is does. My first room only entry and bathroom lights work. They did give me a new room but same result with lights. Was too tired after a long day of plane delays to ask for a new room.

The bed was AWFUL and we could not regulate the room temperature.

People were nice, room was clean but we could ear everything that was going on in the rooms around us. People talking like they were in our own room, people snoring during the night… I have never experienced that before in an hotel of that quality and price.

We where never able to connect to room wifi and contacted desk twice and they requested we call a number to get it working. Coffee maker did not work.

My room would not go below 76 degrees no matter the set temperature, and so the room was hot all day. The refrigerator in the room would not keep cold, and so I am not sure if it was at a food-safe temperature. The walk to the T is very short. However, it requires crossing busy roads which do not have working walk/stop signs.

Room was next to a busy highway with big trucks and it was very loud overnight all night long. Should do something about sound-proofing

When we contacted the front desk regarding the bed in our room being unsupportive and old, we were told 'that's how all the beds are' and were not offered help or assistance beyond that.

Our flight arrived and your front desk personnel were nothing but smiling, friendly and accommodating. You were out of king beds, so we accepted a double bed set up. We were gifted free breakfast and parking for our inconvenience. Plus, the cookies were DELICIOUS!

Staff friendly. Hotel overbooked so was sent to a different hotel upon arrival for first night of stay. Upon checking in for second night, discovered there was no hot water and the thermostat was not working.

I paid for the airport shuttle, but it was never arranged and no one contacted me. I tried calling the hotel multiple times from the UK and the airport — no response. Staff showed no apology on arrival. I had an early checkout at 6 AM and breakfast was included, but when I asked for just a cup of coffee before leaving, I was refused. Very poor service and no flexibility. Would not recommend.

Amazing Driver Sammy for shuttle!! Went out of his way to wait for me a few minutes after 9:30pm. So kind and also felt like tour guide sharing lovely things about the town as we drove. Total angel & lifesaver!

The room was the only goid thing of this stay. When we arrived, check-in was slow (but ok) and we patiently waited. Once we got to the counter, the agent did not greet us just checked us in. While checking in, we asked the agent (Emily) why we are being charged parking fees for 2 cars for a hotelbwith so much parking available. Emily did not even acknowledge my question, nor provide an answer. Rude! I will NEVER reserve another DoubleTree hotel due to the parking cost which I find to be absurd. Keep in mind rhe parking lot is not right outside of the door, where parking is extremely limited. Lastly, Emily made a conscious effort to not offer us their complementary cookies, which I found out after the fact each guests are to receive. Me and my guest were NOT offered anything. Thankfully, the agent working overnight, who I asked respectfully gabe us them at that time. This definitely felt racially driven from Emily not treating us the same as all the other guests. Will not be booking at anymore DoubleTree Hotels. The room was nice but I refuse to sleep anywhere where the guests are not treated equally the same and asked to pay for parking. Thanks

Shuttle to and from the airport AND cruise port is a huge plus. Great staff, especially Sammy the van driver. He provided great commentary while driving.

There was a long line when checking in but the gentleman working the front desk was calm, proficient, friendly and professional and kept everything moving right along. Since we were traveling with a baby he quickly accommodated my request for a quieter room (top floor end unit, far from the elevator) and even upgraded us to a suite so we would have more space. We only stayed one night since we got it to be close to the airport for an early flight, but we were impressed with the room, which was clean, updated in a modern style and nicely appointed with large screen TVs in both rooms, microwave and fridge. I would definitely stay here again! Great staff! Free airport shuttle runs on the hour from 5am to 9pm.

Love that it's only a five minute walk to the red line and close to the airport with hourly airport transportation. Very quiet and safe. Nice lobby to chill in the evening. A perfect spot for our three night stay on Boston.

The immediate area around the hotel is quite dirty and run down. It it sandwiched in between what seems to be a thirty-year on going construction site and a traffic circle.

Loved the walk ability of the area. Along the beach line, quiet yet close to everything. Hotel had Starbucks coffee in lobby. Or a full breakfast buffet if that’s more your preference. Will definitely come bk again.

Great stay except for limited dining

Nice hotel, food wasn’t worth the money tho, find somewhere else to eat.

Good location close to popular downtown Boston destinations. Small bar and restaurant on the lobby floor provide a quick bite and drink before going out on the downtown. Also, a breakfast Buffett in the morning for 22+ per person.

The front line staff was just amazing. And the Marketplace Café has great food with the best service. I would recommend this place.

The complaint I have is that this property charge $22 a day for parking. This is way too expensive for the guests of the hotel. Also, there is no restaurant in this hotel and since there is nothing around close by you really don't have a choice but buy the food in the hotel like fast food place.
