Location is very good. Service was lacking. No fridge in room has to request one. Shower didn’t work very well, tub drain didn’t seal. We left early and could not reach valet. Has to go to front desk, security went to look for them. He was sleeping in a car! One of the pool attendants was in their phone 100% of the time.

The rooms are pretty date and need some love (eg drawers hard to open, dirty / stained walls or bathtub, etc) The ice machine on the 11th floor never worked for my whole stay. The gym equipment was so-so, need some maintenance and the bike doesn’t have straps on one foot. Service was pretty good and the location was excellent.

The hotel is across the street from a major construction site where a new hospital is being built. This project will go on for a very long time. Work starts at 7:00am and goes until 8:00pm. Only two elevators were working in the hotel making for long wait times. All vending machines ran out of drinks and were not replenished. The hotel is overpriced for a building which is in need of significant upgrades.

The hotel is across the street from a major construction site where a new hospital is being built. This project will go on for a very long time. Work starts at 7:00am and goes until 8:00pm. Great location - near Mass General if thats why you're there. Many restaurants and stores are easily walkable - Whole Foods, Walgreens, etc. Facility-kinda old and tired. The batchtub spout was wiggly, the carpets had torn and repaired or not repaired places. Staff was nice enough, parking is ridiculously expensive - we took the commuter rail in - just a 5-10 minute walk, pretty easy, from Government Center. I was surprised that you don't need a room key to use the elevator - SO common nowadays and especially in city environments. I feel safer with the limited access that a key card type elevator.

The #1 reason I selected this hotel was for the pool accommodations. It was 88-90 degrees outside and the pool water was 90 degrees. It was so not refreshing and we were very much looking forward to some pool time. Very disappointed. There was also mold on the walls in the bathroom and rust on the fixtures.

The location was great for tourists. The breakfast was terrific. The valet parking was expensive ($69/day!) The fitness center was substandard for that size of a hotel. The pool was closed. Our room was right across from a building under construction and the early morning noise was ridiculous.

We had to get another room due to smoke smell, new room was out of soap and body wash in dispensers, cockroach in bathroom was 2” long, they gave us free breakfast on our last day for our trouble but the restaurant was staffed by one waitress and no bus service, we would’ve been her 10th table, hotel is worn out looking but in good location.

Didn't feel clean from the carpets to the rooms. I found hair in the bathroom, globs of it behind the garbage can and on the floor. The bathroom floor was sticky and obviously not cleaned.

The room had bugs and flies. They don’t do housekeeping unless you ask for it and even when you do they failed to do it twice. The gym was dirty and is a joke. Vending machines steal your money. By far the worst most expensive 3-star hotel I’ve stayed in.

This hotel has four elevators, two of which were inoperable during our visit. Unfortunately, I don't have the option to upload the pictures that I took, but to say the least, there was mold in the shower, the shower faucet was detached from the wall and moving back and forth, a torn chair in our room, and a completely dirty carpet.

We had to change rooms when we got there due to the bathroom being very old. The carpets were very worn and you could smell cigarette smoke. The woman at the desk said there is a no smoking policy but someone was clearly smoking. The hotel is outdated in general.

Not the worst room ever but dated. The price you pay is for the convenient location. Also a plus is a generous checkout time, but beds need updating and shower backs up into tub. Rooms on the backside have a view of the parking lot and Whole foods.

Stayed there for doctor’s appointment. Room is ok for one night, but could use some improvements. Bed is very uncomfortable. Windows are leaky (8th floor) and HVAC sounds like 30+ years old. Bathroom clean enough, tub does not drain well. Cable is bad quality.

Room needs updating. Showering in ankle deep standing water, rusted tub drain, and spicket didn’t fully close leads to reduced water pressure. Asked for room service day prior, it never came. Called front desk for towels that staff said would be right up, never came. Within walking distance of TD garden but would not stay here again.

The woman that checked us in was extremely helpful. We had an emergency and really needed to get a place, the other place that we had rented had fallen through and she was extremely helpful, she got us right in, we are able to drop off our bags without having to wait for the check-in time, it was an amazing stay will definitely be with Wyndham again.

I came for a conference and arrived with a completed pre-check, but it still took twice as long to get checked in; the front desk gave me a room that was already occupied! VERY disappointing. The second room smelled so bad I had to go back down...third trip up the slow elevators landed a room right by the elevator lobby...Overall, a decent stay with no frills and a few blocks from the T - not worth the nightly rate of $300+ other than the fact that most hotels were sold out due to the conference.

I was there as my son was having surgery at MGB and the staff at the front desk was very helpful when I wasn't sure I would need an extra day in case he wasn't discharged. Had dinner with my husband and a friend and after a long day it was a wonderful experience.

I would like to share how much I appreciated the front desk supervisor named Kip! He went above and beyond, took it the second mile for service, when I needed assistance and was stressed out about an upcoming reservation I had in New York with another Wyndham property. Kip didn’t even hesitate to assist me in my time of need. Way to go Kip you are a true testament of excellent customer sevice!!

I would like to share how much I appreciated the front desk supervisor named Kip! This was an unsatisfactory stay. They told us they would bring a cot and then when we came home there was none with no note. We called they said they were out. We got in bed and the sheets were wet - disgusting! When I spoke to the front desk they made excuses - cots first come first serve, and something about the staff turning the beds late in the day. The wet sheets made no sense because housekeeping hadn’t been in the room for 7 hours. And the excuse about the cot was the worst kind of corporate lack of accountability non-apology - “I don’t know who told you that but our policy is…” This place was so expensive and has just the worst service. Do not stay here!

We expected a dated generic corporate downtown hotel, and that low expectation has been exceeded to our delight. At our check-in, Kip Hemingway was a champion with our kids and a big-hearted ambassador for the place. With, perhaps a tad less flair and conviction than Kip, other staff have also been really good!

I have stayed here many times. Probably 10 times so far. It is VERY convenient location for Mass general hospital Also very convenient for Mass transit, Whole Foods and CVS next door. There is a long standing ongoing hospital construction project across the street so it is a little noisy and you might want to request a room not facing Blossom Street

I wanted to get a hotel close to places in Boston so we wouldn't have to get a car or ride the T as much. Wyndham was a great choice for this!! An added surprise was that CVS and Whole Foods are behind Wynbham, so if you need a little pick-me-up, it’s just a jump. We were on the 8th floor, and the staff cleaning the rooms were so nice! Everyone greeted us as we walked by. Even the front desk staff was very friendly! We thought the room was well cleaned, beds made good, and one great thing was that the water pressure was perfect! I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Location is a big thing when you’re staying somewhere, and Wyndham really made our Boston experience even better!!

An added surprise was that CVS and Whole Foods are behind Wynbham, so if you need a little pick-me-up, it’s just a jump. We were on the 8th floor, and the staff cleaning the rooms were so nice! Everyone greeted us as we walked by. Even the front desk staff was very friendly! We thought the room was well cleaned, beds made good, and one great thing was that the water pressure was perfect! I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Location is a big thing when you’re staying somewhere, and Wyndham really made our Boston experience even better!!

Overall, we had a good stay. The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The downtown location is great, close to the subway station. But the rooms were a bit dated. The bathroom door didn't close all the way and the bathtub drain quickly. But, in general, good value for money.

Location is great for public transit, but there is construction going on next door so be prepared to be woken up at 6:57am each day. Would be great if the hotel offered complimentary earplugs until construction is complete.

The property is in a great location and clean. There were definitely things that needed some repair such as ice machines and sinage. The staff was super friendly and did their best to accommodate our needs. We ate at the Dean's List twice and while the food was edible we definitely don't recommend it. Much much better food nearby.

The hotel was very outdated. In addition, I asked for an early check-in, which was 2:00 pm. Because we didn’t arrive until 3:00 pm, I was told it would only be $25. I just received my invoice and I was charged the full $50. The restaurant was also not very good. Had to send back both meals because they were wrong.

The staff never came in to clean our room once so we had to call and they only gave us new towels. This hotel was only good for the location. We were able to walk everywhere and explore without needing an uber so if you’re looking for a central location in Boston to stay for a short amount of time this was decently priced compared to nearby hotels. This location is extremely walkable and we were not only able to walk to all major locations to go out to eat and do some shopping, but also were a T stop away from any nearby surrounding city. We took the T to Chinatown on our last night and got some food which was excellent! The smell of the room got weird the last night and we think it was the vents. The tv also wasn’t working and we had to get that fixed by a technician,(we like to use the tv for music while getting ready). Overall the actual hotel itself is very outdated and needs a refresh but the stay was just OK. Location was the highlight of this hotel and would stay here just for that reason alone!
