Very clean with friendly staff

Amazing

I expected a standard stay, but the "aroma" of this hotel had other plans. From the elevator to my pillow, the scent of marijuana was inescapable. It felt less like a hospitality chain and more like a botanical dispensary with beds. While the staff was friendly, the ventilation system clearly gave up years ago. If you’re looking for a professional environment, keep driving; if you want a contact high with your continental breakfast, you’ve arrived.

I arrived around 6:45pm and waited about 10 minutes at the check in desk and eventually had to flag a contractor who was working at the hotel to see if he knew where any staff were. Staff did arrive very quickly after that but I was slightly annoyed at the extended wait time to check in, especially as it wasn't an odd time to be arriving. The hotel is definitely dated however they are in the process of renovations. There is one elevator however it was a hike to get to and required guests to walk past many rooms under construction which made the overall appearance of the hotel seem less than stellar. Room was clean, location felt safe.
