Parking was easy. Front desk was friendly. Heater worked great. Room smelled like smoke, though.

Room was supposed to be non smoking, its smelled of stale cigarettes, was outdated. Walls were a brown/tan color but couldnt tell if it was nicotine or paint. Elevator was not workong requiring all bags to be carried up flight of stairs. We were booked for 3 nights we stayed 12hrs till mornind. Continued to have breathing issues in the room, and multiple asthmas attacks. Couldnt stay in that facility.

Not bad (could use some updates) but not a single ice machine on the property. Seems like not a big deal unless your traveling & need ice! lol

You get what you pay for. This property was less expensive than others nearby and in exchange for that, it hadn’t been updated in decades. The room was very out of date with old dirty rugs and a mildew smell. The elevator was out of service even though they say that was just temporary. The stairways were very old and dirty. But the staff was nice and the bed was clean. If you want to pay $100 more per night, there are other properties nearby.

First of all it was a 3 story hotel and the elevator was not in service and what we found out from people who have been living there for 18 months that was it has been broken for at least a week before we got there. (Luckily we were only there for 2 nights). Breakfast was basically oatmeal or tiny packaged muffins. Nothing to make coffee in the room, could only get coffee in the breakfast area. We also had a problem with the internet service, couldn’t make phone calls or anything using the internet except sometimes you were able to text. Most of the staff that we met were pleasant. The place needs updating. I would not recommend this place at all.

Room smells like smoke. Major potholes in all surrounding streets to get here. Poor snow removal from parking lot. Mother screaming and abusing her child in room above me. Lots of transients here or people who have been evicted. God bless the staff. They're pretty much social workers.

Easy parking

The gentleman at the front desk was great, but the property needed some tlc. there was a family in the room just above us and the child did nothing but run and jump and God knows what else it was LOUD! the elevator didn't work the last day and we had to carry our luggage downstairs which was no big deal...people were cooking in their rooms and it smelled awful...but the beds were comfortable for the little sleep we got!

You have to order and pickup any and all kitchen supplies including glasses, cutlery and plates from the front desk. No coffee maker or dishwasher. Breakfast is very limited. Parking lot wasn't plowed 6 days after snow.

Spartan at best. Kitchen had no supplies and when you asked for them you had to go to the lobby even though the info card said they would deliver. Breakfast was a joke - coffee/tea and oatmeal. The laundry took coins or card though the lobby said coins only and did not have any detergent. The last morning had no hot water for the shower.

The property was listed and appeared to be clean, with friendly and accommodating staff. This property was far from it. My room was so filthy, had no linens on the pull out sofa bed as the facility ran out of clean linens and still by 9am was unable to provide me linens. The room had such a distinct odor, I could not sleep. I was so disappointed in this booking. One thing that went great is, the staff let us check in early, which was incredibly kind.

Room was filthy. I took pictures of it as we walked in. Stains all over the carpet and couch. Cigarette or drug burns o. The counter. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet bowl. The whole room smelled of urine, it's the carpet , like an animal had urinated and it was never cleaned. Door locks didn't work have the time. Toe nail clipping under the bed. All of this can be over looked, what can't be overlooked is the drug needle I found und er the mattress on the 5 night. I made it aware to the man at the front desk. I was threatened to be kicked out caused I spoke to another guest about the needle. I called the police and they came and got the needle. I have made a claim for a refund, and I haven't heard back from anyone yet. I was told to wait 2 days, this is the 3 day. I checked out early and paid to stay at a clean hotel.

I was VERY disappointed in this hotel absolutely nothing like the pictures you see online for booking site.. The room was absolutely disgusting. The couch, curtains, headboards all had holes in it, stains all over the rugs, caked on food on the stove and mold all over the bathroom. I could not believe the condition of this room. I plan on writing to the company as well as Expedia on the horrible conditions we endured at the stay. I would NEVER recommend staying here to anyone!!

We canceled our rooms as we could not stay with the smell and stains. The front desk person was very nice and helpful though.

The rooms were not clean here. The carpet had a very musty smell and was obviously stained and sticky. Needs a good deep cleaning. Bed was comfortable.

The facility was disgusting and smelled terrible. The “residents” were rude and sat around the doors smoking with their dogs off the leash.

There was a roach in my room

Stained, sticky carpeting that went up the walls to form baseboards. Mysterious sticky stains on sofa. Bathroom in room 228 has a sticky sliding door that didn’t close all the way so zero privacy. There was a dead roach in the corner by the bath sink. The kitchen seemed organized and clean enough, but we didn’t use it. The bed was NOT a queen, it was barely a full sized mattress. The frame was cheap and wiggled/squeaked constantly, the mattress was thin and incredibly uncomfortable. Thank goodness we were only there for 1 night. We had no choice but to book it because apparently everything was sold out given the proximity to Salem. There is no reason this hotel to charge $350/night for such a poor hotel room. The staff was pretty much invisible. Anytime we needed someone we had to look for them at the front desk. Paul at our check in seemed nice, but we never saw him again. 10/10 would never recommend this hotel.

This place was filthy. The hallway carpets were never vacuumed. Same filth there the whole time we were there. Charged $210/night while others were living in the hotel. No real continental breakfast. Only a nutrigrain bar or muffin. The people I was with slept in one bed and were bit up by fleas. The beds were hard as rock. I do not recommend staying there.

Breakfast included is misleading. Consisted of packaged oatmeal and breakfast bars coffee tea. No ice. Thin walls noise in halls.

The staff was great. Very helpful and kind, and did their jobs. The building itself was probably as clean as it could be with regular housekeeping. This building could definitely stand to be updated though. The carpet and furniture in my room looked very old and very used. the couch had visible stains. While someone had definitely done between visitors, deep cleaning and updating is surely something to be worked on. However, it was the cheapest option I could find in the area for what I wanted, so I guess you get what you pay for. I just wish that management upgrades the furniture and maybe replaces the old and very used carpets in the near future. Last complaint is that I stayed on the second floor for a week, and the trash room is next to the elevator, which made the whole floor smell like sewage. I had to walk through that smell every day for a week, and it never got any better. Great staff, but needs better building management.

Hotel was on an industrial estate, but convenient for getting into main highway, or for going into Salem. Room was spacious, separate bedroom and lounge/kitchen area as well as bathroom. Breakfast was minimalist, coffee and porrige. We couldn't get WiFi in our room, and desk staff didnt suggest any way to address.

My room was very noisy. It was the refrigerator that was making such noise all night long.

Good hotel, clean, spacious rooms. Received excellent service from all staff, including the general manager. Definitely recommend!

The room had well-worn and stained furniture. Not a single USB port in the room. There were no small appliances, silverware nor appliances in the room. The were available for an extra charge. Similarly, the free internet was intermittent but could pay for an upgraded service. We have stayed at numerous other extended stay hotels and have never had these issues. Would completely avoid.

The room smelled weird and the floor felt sticky (even with shoes on). The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was a cheap price for a one night stay, but I would never plan to have an “extended stay” at this place. It had a two burner hot plate in the kitchen that’s seen better days. The “complimentary” breakfast in the lobby was the worst prepackaged muffin I’ve ever had.

This property was just okay for one night. The room did smell a little bit like urine. They need to clean the place better and put some kind of fragrance for the room.

This was the cheapest option in the area for the weekend. And for that price, and for one night it was excellent. The bed was comfortable, the room was a good size and had a great layout. The bathroom was clean and functional. The heat worked. It was relatively quiet at night. Everything you want for a short trip. On the other hand, the breakfast they advertise is some granola bars and muffins. I tried to get some coffee when I went down to breakfast at 7:00 am and there was no coffee in the dispenser. They probably don't have any right to advertise a breakfast. If we had wanted to use the kitchenette we would have been sorely disappointed as there were no dishes and the stove didn't work. Though the full sized fridge and microwave were functioning. But we didn't want to cook! And were planning to go out to breakfast anyway! So, the room was still excellent for the money for one night.

Never in a million years will I go back to this hotel. Started off by barely saying two words to us upon check in. When we went to our “room” it was already occupied. As we were returning to the front desk, we saw the clerk banging on doors and opening them up. When we walked up to her to tell her she apparently already knew and pushed open a room door and said here I guess u can have this room, come down later and I’ll give you new room keys. Went into the room, which was supposed to have a full kitchen and a queen bed, had fridge, two burner stove top, no oven, a small microwave, absolutely no utensils or anything. Went down to exchange keys and requested a coffee pot, I’m still waiting on the coffee pot. Breakfast was abysmal, like warm barely brown “coffee” no milk or creamer, two whole muffins, a few packs of oatmeal, no bowls or plates or utensils. Come back on our first night to find the elevator “broken” and was not fixed our entire stay, our room was on the third floor. Stairwells were filthy and smelled. Hallways were filthy, there was a plastic bag on the hallway floor by our room that was there our entire week stay. If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. Stay away!

1st room was not clean. Hair in tub, bugs on windowsill, broken sofa, AC didn’t work. Had to be moved to a new room. Alyse at the front desk was the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a business in my life . Actually told me “she knew I was a nurse because all nurses are rude “ . Will never stay there again .

When we arrived they said we had no reservation. I showed them the email confirmation as well as their email saying they looked forward to our stay (sent a couple weeks before our stay). When I tried to speak with the front desk he kept cutting me off, said the emails did mean we had a reservation and showed zero understanding. We had to pay out of pocket for a room as it was late.

We were supposed to have a room with 2 beds and a pullout couch, and there was no couch when we got there. We spoke to the man at the front desk who was unable to move us into another room, even though he confirmed that he gave us the wrong room and we pre-paid for a room with a pullout couch, but couldn’t offer us anything to fix it.

We got to the hotel for check in and were told we were marked as no shows and we no longer had a room available. This was despite the fact that I called twice to let the front desk know we would be getting in late because our flight was delayed. They told me when I called that they had checked us in and our keys would be ready at the front desk. Ultimately we were able to get a room but this was all way too much hassle after a long day of traveling when I had called twice to let them know the deal and they stated it would “be no problem”. Would not recommend as a hotel after traveling.

The property is a little away from things but that is what we wanted. Quiet, comfortable bed, clean, had a small kitchen which can be nice. I will be staying here again.

It's not their fault, but it's basically in the middle of nowhere lol. But it's very calm and quiet and clean. Staff was nice and amazing. I very much will go back despite it being further away from everything.

Room was nice. Clean room, close to interstate so kinda alot of noise certain time of day. But nice and clean.

Hotel is located on a dead-end in an industrial area, very dated with a weird smell in the room. Upon check-in the front desk staff was on the phone discussing the loss of the hot water. The “residents” were informed. People were living at the hotel. We did not stay, we checked out and were refunded.

The price was reasonable and the room was clean. The hotel is about 20 minutes’ driving distance from Salem, MA which was the purpose of our visit. The hotel did not respond to the message that I sent on Expedia in the days leading up to my visit (maybe they don’t have the capacity — just a heads up for anyone booking this way). They gave us three pillows for a four-person booking. Despite asking at three different times over the course of a two-night stay, they continually said that there were no extra pillows. The breakfast options were basic (individually wrapped muffins and cereal bars, instant oatmeal packets, tea and coffee) but an employee did kindly make us a new pot of coffee when we arrived to find it empty. This hotel suited our purposes but I would not stay here again.

Need to drive for anything

Not much for breakfast, had to keep asking for towels and soap. Only had 2 hand towels and 2 eashcloths to begin with.

The property was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was not serve at all even though I was told during my check in that it was a grab n go breakfast.

The property only had one person on duty at 4pm. They have no ice machine and give you trays to put in the freezer. We needed sheets for the sofa bed and he had to wash some before we could get them. There were no dishes in the kitchen so we had to ask for some glasses. The breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal and fruit bars.

I chose this property because of its close location to Salem. I rented a 1 Queen bed with Sofa Bed room. The mattress on the sofa bed mattress was filthy, including the couch itself. The room had a musty, unclean smell which made me sneeze all night. The bagage shelf in the closet broke when I put my two small overnight bags on it. The shelf in the refrigerator was broken. The micro wave & stove were filthy. This property was suppose to have a continental breakfast (which included muffins) in the morning, but only served coffee, oatmeal packets and granola bars, no spoons, no bowls, no napkins. I will not be staying at this property again, ever.

The reason i chose extended stay in Peabody was price and the fact breakfast was included. So for the third day in a row, there wasn't any breakfast available. The attendant said, " we got wiped out over the holidays"....( 8 days ago)? So, per the advertisement of granola bars, muffins, oatmeal, hot chocolate, All that was available was coffee and tea.

Half way cleaned, broken shower they wouldn’t change our room so had to use the sink to bathe. Breakfast was only muffins and coffee. Bad experience for $150 a night.

Hotel is clean, room was comfortable. Only knock is they advertised free breakfast - it consists of a cup of coffee and a packet of Quacker Oatmeal.

Cheap option for Boston and Salem, breakfast was only granola bars though

Night lite didn't work so I couldn't read in bed and there wasn't any breakfast available. Clerk said she ran out during the holidays. I was planning on at least having breakfast which is why i booked the room for 3 consecutive days.
