Teenage-level attitude at the front desk - and this person has received a lot complaints judging by other reviews but evidently still works there. Hotel has a duplicate WiFi network that looks similar to the actual one but does not require a password. This is not secure and puts your data at risk. I had trouble connecting to the actual WiFi and called down to the front desk - the person there was unhelpful and gave me annoyed attitude the whole time. They said the manager is not in today and I can call back tomorrow, but even though I mentioned I'll already be checking out by then, they still said there's nothing they can do, except have me walk to the front desk with all my devices, which is a while away. Even the password on their real WiFi is too easy to guess, not very secure. The rooms are pretty worn down as you'd expect, dead insects, dirty windows. But not being able to work on the WiFi is the bigger deal for me, as I do work remotely and this place said it would have WiFi. And on top of that, a front-desk attendant who makes your stay even worse, instead of at least trying to make it better, makes for a frustratingly unpleasant experience.

The carpet in the room had multiple stains. The towels had stains and long curly black hairs intertwined in them. The bathroom had curly little hairs in the floor. My one year old contracted some sort of allergy with the pillow case that I am still treating a week later.

Sunni, our host, was friendly, kind and very accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and very clean bedsheets. The continental Breakfast was delicious. Fresh scrambled eggs, 3 types of breads, waffles, fresh fruit, 3 types of cereals, a variety of yogurts and all the spreads you can think of. The coffee was tasty and piping hot. The layout of the hotel was curious but not weird. Just different as it is built in a hill. I liked it and was thankful that though we were placed in room 205, we were on street level. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water and bathroom amenities. Overall. I would not hesitate to return!!

Condition of hotel not so great. Bed completely worn out. Springs creaky and in your back. Had no sleep, was so uncomfortable. Cleaning lady only came one day, was there for four. Breakfast, waffles were the best. Didn’t swim but pool looked really nice and clean.

This hotel provided an adequate stay. It was a bed to sleep in. The staff is strict on not taking the food from breakfast to your room. I watched a staff member admonish someone who had food take to their room. Room service is only M, W and F. It was loud at night in the halls most nights.

Room smelled like cigarettes, looks like the did a paint job renovation but you can still see mold areas, beds are a mattress on a metal platform that made bending noise when I husband sat on it, mattress is more of a pull out bed mattress and had us in pain, shower was a sprinkle. Only positive is clean linen, pool and location

Check in was smooth, the front desk and other staff very polite. The room is a bit run down and dated, the hair drying in the room was a hazard and potentially harmful (worn and broken plug, didn't function properly). A small investment in some updating of carpets and some paint would go a long way. Good location, not far from Providence.

Upon check in, the clerk at the front desk could not find our reservation even with the confirmation email. He told me that, even if I reserve with Hotels.com (which I did) I “have to call the hotel to make a reservation.” Which made no sense. Hotels.con rep called them and fixed it. The clerk told me this has been happening “for weeks.” I told him, if that was the case, the hotel should fix it. He said “It’s their fault.” So, I’d bet that other travelers going there will have the same issue. We couldn’t reach our room from the lobby, but had to “drive to the back.” The back door was propped open by people smoking outside. I gave this hotel two stars because our room and the (very small) bathroom were clean, and the hotel allows dogs, which is great. We were there for two nights, the second night, our keycards stopped working. There needs to be more training of the front desk personnel. We will not return.

Before checking in we called to ask when check in ends when the staff gave an attitude and hung up on us. Upon arrival the entrance was blocked off my roadwork preventing us from getting in to which we then called the hotel to ask if they knew what we should do or anywhere else we could park to which i was told “i dont know man youll have to see what you can do” and then again hung up on. We parked at the hampton inn where we had to then walk with all our stuff across to our hotel which we were put downstairs all the way in the back. The hotel is extremely inconvenient and the breakfast was not good. If we could have gotten it refunded we would have and stayed at a better more welcoming place. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

It was ok. The hotel is old and it showed! The staff was unprofessional (but not rude or unfriendly) and could have perhaps been a family from India running the show. I think they lived there. No professional uniforms, smelled a little like marajuana and home cooking through the hallways near guest rooms. Most alarming was that the side door was not locked, so anyone could have walked in near guest rooms. You did not have to go through the front entrance. No key card needed from outdoor access!! We also had to request our room to be cleaned and refreshed because they did not do it the first night. The second night they did, but as we were arriving back from a long day, so we had to wait (this was after we told them when we’d be back). The positive was that they allowed us to stay an hour after check out which helped us tremendously before our flight home. Also, the area was great with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Also close to the freeway and 20min in traffic to Brown University and the airport.

It was ok. The hotel is old and it showed! The staff was unprofessional (but not rude or unfriendly) and could have perhaps been a family from India running the show. I think they lived there. No professional uniforms, smelled a little like marajuana and home cooking through the hallways near guest rooms. Most alarming was that the side door was not locked, so anyone could have walked in near guest rooms. You did not have to go through the front entrance. No key card needed from outdoor access!! We also had to request our room to be cleaned and refreshed because they did not do it the first night. The second night they did, but as we were arriving back from a long day, so we had to wait (this was after we told them when we’d be back). Check in was smooth, the front desk and other staff very polite. The room is a bit run down and dated, the hair drying in the room was a hazard and potentially harmful (worn and broken plug, didn't function properly). A small investment in some updating of carpets and some paint would go a long way. Good location, not far from Providence.

Hotel hallways & pool are a bit dated, but the rooms are very nice & clean. Area around the hotel is a bit run-down with several businesses closed. Plenty of restaurants nearby - pretty much anything you want is accessible.

Sunni, our host, was friendly, kind and very accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and very clean bedsheets. The continental Breakfast was delicious. Fresh scrambled eggs, 3 types of breads, waffles, fresh fruit, 3 types of cereals, a variety of yogurts and all the spreads you can think of. The coffee was tasty and piping hot. The layout of the hotel was curious but not weird. Just different as it is built in a hill. I liked it and was thankful that though we were placed in room 205, we were on street level. The air conditioning worked perfectly and there was plenty of hot water and bathroom amenities. Overall. I would not hesitate to return!!

This hotel provided an adequate stay. It was a bed to sleep in. The staff is strict on not taking the food from breakfast to your room. I watched a staff member admonish someone who had food take to their room. Room service is only M, W and F. It was loud at night in the halls most nights.

Property run down but clean, pool was well kept. Advertised restaurant next door but it is closed down. Advertised hot breakfast but that was a waffle you make yourself and fake scrambled eggs that nearly disintegrated when put ketchup on them. I did make due with coffee and yogurt which still helped save me a trip to find a diner.

We stayed two nights. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. It isn't a fancy hotel and doesnt have all the amenities other pricier hotels do but we thought it was good for the price. The pool was not open yet but it looked nice and was pretty large. Hotel is located near many shops and restaurants.

Our room and entire hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was really good. But it was hard to enjoy with being watched so closely. The woman over seeing the area was hovering.

The area is sketchy and the outside looks run down- there is an empty restaurant on site. The staff was great and the room was VERY clean. I was comfortable. The curtains did not close and all that covered the window was a translucent blind so bring your eye shades if you plan to sleep in. The hallways are a bit daunting (Feels like being in a David Lynch movie) but it was quiet and clean. The breakfast was nothing special but the coffee was decently strong.

I thought it was a bit pricy. Breakfast only served meat with the eggs on 2 days, had to go to the front desk one day for towels. I stayed there 5 yrs ago and it was great oh well I guess times have changed

We got there at night, it looked questionable. I was a little worried. But check in was easy, rooms was clean, comfortable beds and pretty quite. Pool area was nice and breakfast was decent.

Bed was very comfortable, pool was great, room was clea and easy to access. Front desk was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. Very reasonably priced and close to places we need to visit.

Terrible from beginning to end. First, the surprise $100 “security deposit” charged at check-in (he accidentally put a $200 hold on my card). Run-down lobby and hallway were just a sneak peek of my room's condition. Room smelled of stale cigarette/weed smoke. Stained bedspread, yellowed pillowcases that were supposed to be white. Chair near the window was stained and had either crumbs or ashes on the seat (I was NOT brave enough to do a sniff test). Bathroom light flickered, unknown white substance on the ice bucket tray. The carpet felt damp on my bare feet (shoes stayed on from that point on). The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, as were the pillows. Plenty of TV channels, but the picture was snowy. The worst part was a loud party happening in the room next to mine. I went to the desk to complain about the noise and was told by the man (after he hung up and called a customer stupid) that he couldn’t change me to a quieter room due to a limited number of rooms (not according to the cars in the dark scary parking lot, but okay). He said he would ask them to quiet down. Not sure he actually did, because the noise continued well past midnight. I would say this was a case of “you get what you pay for” but the room was not cheap, in fact, the rate was the same as what I would have paid to stay in the city. (I chose this hotel to avoid a $45 parking fee at a nicer hotel in the city). TLDR: This hotel needs a major renovation and a staff that actually cares about their gues

The motel as a whole was not very clean. There was an odor throughout the whole building, Sarah smelled smoky and musty. There was some black mold around the shower stall. The vending machine worked, but the door was broken and we couldn’t get items out. I put $10 in the money changing machine to get quarters for the laundry, and it only gave me $7.25 back. Then they put an out of order sign on it. One of the main reasons we chose that motel was they had an outdoor pool. My kids were very excited however we were there and the gates were locked and said it was not usable. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit. The only good thing about the whole place was the staff who were very friendly and helpful.
