The hotel room was very clean and quiet. The pool was very nice and refreshing! Breakfast had a nice selection of healthy options. The only things I did not like was, that they charge extra for early check-in before 300pm. I feel that the check out would work much better if it was at 12 noon, instead of 1100am.

This is a tough review because we understand that you get what you pay for. So part 1 of my review is accuracy. On the listing for the property it says there is breakfast included, but they only had coffee. They list a pool. Pool looks to have been closed for some time with a foot of scummy water in it. (This was Memorial Day weekend) They upgraded us to a jacuzzi King sized room. Jacuzzi was huge and not working. As in no water came out of it. The room was dated but clean and basic. And out our door was a lovely pond that we brought beach chairs and read our books on the “balcony”. Part 2 is that the property was required to house immigrant families. Which is a complicated situation in so many ways. its not something the property has control of. And there were long term construction workers living there. But it did turn a hotel experience into an apartment complex experience. Bikes stashed along the walkways. Guys hanging around drinking beers. In the morning trash, pizza boxes stacked up, empty beer bottles. The staff was amazing at cleaning all this up. And we met some of the people staying there and everyone was friendly. But this setup was not explained in the property description and took us by surprise.

The room was somewhat run down with old furnishings and torn wallpaper. The walls and ceiling in the bathroom had mildew. The shower door didn't stay closed. No hooks in the bathroom to hang up your things. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was great and it was clean. The pool was not blue like the photo. The water was yellow green. The bed mattress was nice and firm and the bedding was very clean. Overall, not horrible, but not what one would expect for over $1000 for a 3-day stay.

Lovely hotel. Why I said 4 out of 5 stars was handicapped access unavailable for second floor and pool side rooms. We came with someone that had difficulty on stairs and she was unable to get down stairs more than one time a day so she missed Brimfield.

Really clean and modern hotel, it was great for a short stay. A/C was perfect bed was comfortable. Room had a clean working refrigerator and microwave. In ground out door pool too.

Good location for travel on Rt 20. Need better entrance marking when coming east on Rt 20. When it’s dark it’s hard to see. Room was good, comfortable bed. Pool area needs some cleaning up. Lots of cigarette butts on the property. All and all a good one night stay.

At 10:30 pm when I checked in exhausted, The room appeared clean but there was a cockroach in the bathtub, another crawling by the closet and another in the bathtub after I killed the first. I plugged the drains with towels hoping to stop them. I told the staff on duty in the morning, he said-“ oh I’m sorry- I’ll tell the manager. Thank you.” I would not stay here again.

Our first room smelled like smoke, they moved us. Our next room smelled better, but there was no water pressure, the hair dryer did not work, and I found two dead cockroaches in the bathroom. I will not be staying there again.

The Super 8 was convenient to the turnpike. Our room was spotless and comfortable. It included a microwave and fridge. Staff was friendly and helpful in getting us on WiFi . The breakfast room was pleasant and the offerings were just right to get us on the road in the morning. We recommend!

They said they had complementary breakfast yet when we went for breakfast they only had 5 yogurts out, a few packages of oatmeal, some apples, muffins that didn’t look good at all and these small frozen waffles. The room had water stained ceilings the one above the shower looked as if it was ready to fall. The room smelled of weed when we first walked in. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Completely disappointed and dissatisfied with this hotel and being part of wyndham I thought it would be better than this.

The room was obviously a brand new renovation. It was lovely with a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and microwave. The bathroom was all new tiles and spotless. The water was nice and hot. I would just add a small table and chairs to the room and another suitcase rack. It was spotless and convenient to the highway and about a 2-minute drive to Sturbridge Village. They offer a continental breakfast of breakfast sandwiches, juice, pastry, muffins, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, and coffee. The clerks and everyone are very polite and cordial.

The young man working at the desk was super nice, however when we discovered bed bugs in 2 of our rooms, the manager told the desk employee that we could not get a refund for the room. I am reaching out to the Massachusetts Health Department this morning. Please do not stay here!!!

The rooms were refurbished and very clean and modern. The room had a cathedral ceiling which made the room feel very spacious. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern. I also liked how the floors were laminate that resembled hard wood. It felt very clean. It was very quiet at night for sleeping. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good - tea, coffee, juices, yogurt, english muffins, waffles and muffins. You could request a frozen breakfast sandwich to defrost. Staff was very professional and polite. Overall it was a great comfortable night.

We had a fantastic view of the lake. It was easy to get to right off of the Mass Pike. Room looked great and smelled clean. The balcony was great for the sunrise & sunset. We had a puppy & infant on one side and weren’t disturbed by any noise. The location is right by Old Sturbridge Village and plenty of great restaurants. We highly recommend checking this hotel out!

The room was very nice, the staff were excellent, and the breakfast was good. What wasn’t good was the noise. We were kept up most of the night by the music and loud people in the rooms next to us and above us. I’m not sure there is a solution to this problem. Maybe better soundproofing? More considerate people?

The outside might throw you off a little as it doesn’t look very fancy, but the room was lovely and comfortable with a chair and desk and nice bed. The balcony overlooking the lake was wonderful

Was there for only one night but the owners were friendly and the pool area looked clean but was too cold out. I didn’t like that the description wasn’t clear that this was a studio room when hotels.com described it differently. The room itself could use some updates but overall it served its purpose. Noise was the worst part. The people directly above us were so loud running back and annd forth and jumping for hours (kids I would assume).

This was a stop on our way to another destination. Hotel room was clean and was a nice location on a lake and near stores. However, there was garbage all around the back outside of the property from what appeared to be rooms they were cleaning out or remodeling. Not a nice first impression to enter our room. Room was noisy and we couldn’t sleep at all. There was constant moving of furniture in the room above us during the night. Kept both of us awake. Not sure if they were remodeling during the night or what the reason was for it. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to sleep.

Very satisfied with the room I received and the service I was provided. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of small amenities. There were no issues I ran into during my stay. The one thing that holds me back from giving it a full 5 stars is the mediocre breakfast offering. It was basically just a small glass box with bagels and cold waffles, a toaster, some spreads, and an apple/orange juice dispenser. Rather disappointing, it would at least be nice to add a waffle iron so guests can make their own hot waffles. All things considered, though, this is just a minor gripe you might not even care about if you don't eat hotel breakfasts. I would definitely recommend this hotel nonetheless.

Be wary. They like to charge an extra $200 on top of the cost of the room before you even get there. Did not expect to shell out $600 for two nights when originally it was supposed to be only $400. Never mentioned any deposit or anything. I expected that $200 to be towards the booking not extra. Also paid for the late checkout at 1pm. Got woken up at 11:00am even with the do not disturb sign on the door by housekeeping. Told them that I had late checkout. Proceeded to say okay and then had the front desk banging on the door demanding that we leave the room. Even though I paid $20 for late checkout. It didn’t matter to them. Very dissatisfied with service.

While the room itself was clean and seemed newly renovated, there were issues. We were almost unable to check in, as the hotel wi-fi was down. In addition, the hotel tried to take a photocopy of my driver's license. While I understand the need to check I.D., no hotel has every COPIED my I.D. before. We did finally manage to check-in, but while we were seated at breakfast the next morning, the police came to the front desk requesting access to a room, which made us feel like something unsafe and probably illegal was happening at the hotel. I will definitely not return to this hotel.

I loved my stay at this location with some friends during a weekend. The hotel was very tidy and the front staff Mani was so kind and welcoming. Mani took care of our stay throughout the whole time we were there. He made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you Mani!

Staff was great. Certainly not a bad value for the lower cost Room was clean. Unfortunately had a bad neighbor upstairs the 1st night. Not very surprising with the low cost and what that can come with. However when I asked if that room was staying and found out they were, I asked for a room change. Staff handled it, got me the room change, plenty quiet and got my rest that night. Cleaning staff seemed nice. We did get a towel exchange and made bed after the 1st night, which was a little unexpected but appreciated for a low cost room. Overall good value, good staff, clean. Rooms have been updated but keep in mind the price point obviously when determining what to expect for the overall property.

We had a fantastic view of the lake. It was easy to get to right off of the Mass Pike. Room looked great and smelled clean. The balcony was great for the sunrise & sunset. We had a puppy & infant on one side and weren’t disturbed by any noise. The location is right by Old Sturbridge Village and plenty of great restaurants. We highly recommend checking this hotel out!

The grades may not show it but this is one of the better Super 8s that I have been to. On this weekend with the Brimfield events on 5/14/23 and another event and Mother's Day, the price was over twice the normal rate as were all the hotels. The decks were all newly replaced. The doors and outside railings were painted and highlighted. As with all Super 8s, the rooms are slightly smaller but the bed was comfy, the fridge had a separate freezer and the room had a working microwave. As a, maybe, bonus, the view from the room's deck included a nice view of the lake (not seen at night).

Pleasantly surprised. When we drove in, we weren't sure if we chose the right hotel. From the outside, it is not very appealing but the room was very nice, clean, had full refrigerator and microwave. We were there only one night. Will say the breakfast was not good at all but that's not a reason to not stay there.

Only real issue si the "hot" breakfast was very lame as just waffles and bread to heat up in toaster..did not even have boxes of cereal let alone eggs etc. Other issue for winter season is that be aware this is a motel so no interior corridors etc to stay dry and warm as go to get breakfast etc

Liked the location and breakfast included. Didn't like - The breakfast choices were too limited. The only breakfast photo in the listing shows chafing servers, but there were no hot foods. Picture also shows a waffle maker, which was not there. Whatever the online photo shows should actually be there, otherwise it is deceitful. There were not any flavored creamers, which all other hotels have. And there were no individual peanut butters, which are typical. I don't think there was any protein offered at all, which is not good at breakfast. There were frozen breakfast sandwiches that were handed out at the front desk upon request. But these would then be microwaved ... not appetizing. The breakfast hours ended at 9:00am, 10:00am would be better. The door to our room had visible air gaps at top and bottom of door. This allowed much outside noise at night to be heard, and some people outside were loud and smoking. This issue may be common in hotel/motels, but I don't like the channel guide on the TV as a rolling guide on one of the channels (noninteractive). In today's world, the guide should be a function that is interactive, were I can select channels, get descriptions, etc. A premium movie channel should also be included. These are common at other hotels.

Rather disappointing, it would at least be nice to add a waffle iron so guests can make their own hot waffles. All things considered, though, this is just a minor gripe you might not even care about if you don't eat hotel breakfasts. I would definitely recommend this hotel nonetheless.

Great hotel with lots of updates. Not at all what you'd expect from a typical Super 8. Just make sure you get there early for breakfast. It's nice that they offer a breakfast, don't get me wrong, but there isn't much on offer, and if you are there after 8:30, they do not replenish anything. We got there at 8:40 and all that was left besides the waffle maker was 3 slices of bread for toasting and one muffin. My suggestion to the hotel, either extend your breakfast hours or replenish your offerings until your posted end time. That is my only complaint. Everything else is fantastic.
