The nicest thing about this place was the pool. It looked nice and clean. The room on the other hand was disappointing. The doors were filthy, both the door gettin into the room and the bathroom door were absolutely disgusting. I don’t even want to think about what some of the stains were. I took Clorox wipes and cleaned them as best as I could because the thought of touching them creeped me out. The tub needs recalling , but it was clean. The wall in the bathroom had some stains running down it. The sink was clean and the the floor in the bedroom was clean and looked to be fairly new tile. There were patch work places in the ceiling that were very poorly done and the entire room needs a good cleaning and paint job. The price was cheap and we only stayed one night. Whoever the owners are,they don’t take care of the place. I would not recommend it at all.

Old hotel. Tile floors are cracked. The balconies are ready to collaspse. Pool not filtered or clean. Hair floating. Flies all around the property and in the rooms.

Building looks like it is falling apart as the ceiling is coming apart.

Everything was great. It was a one-night stay and I slept very well. The pool area was clean and nice treat from the heat. Check-in was fast and very professional, and Mrs. Bivens was very helpful. Overall, a nice stay.

I liked that I could park in front of the room and didn't have far to walk. That's where the good stops. The room had a musty smell. The small couch looked dirty and dank. The couch needs to be replaced. I tried to tighten the loose bathroom door knob. The refrigerator was clean on the inside, but stained on the outside. The parking area needs to be swept. Breakfast, 3 choices of cereal that looks like they been in the dispenser awhile. A gallon of milk sitting on the counter and some bagals. Im not sure if I could have toasted the bagals or not. I was interested in any "breakfast" they had to offer. Check-out was a note that said " leave your room key here". My thought was " leave your room key here and don't come back."

Clean NO, Bugs yes, brown water, no stopper in tub, missing hair dryer, paint splatter, old dingy, no deadbolt, saw daylight out the door, pool closed, I saw one hard bagel and dry cereal and coffee for breakfast, tv control i had to clean....not sure what was on it. I paid almost $300 for a 2 night stay.....????? room #214

The young guy who works the front desk is overly aggressive, accusatory, threatening and completely disrespectful. It is sad because his personality really negatively impacts the experience. What is really a concern is he is this negative the pool is not operational.

The hotel was very dirty, the 3 days we were there we killed 24 flies in the room, the floor was dirty when we arrived and was never sweep or mopped the entire time, the lobby had a foul smell to it. The breakfast was very poor , no fruit, very limited choice of food. The water was a dirty yellow. One positive note the pool was nice. Will never stay there again.

This place cannot possible be up to code!! The water is indeed yellow. The guy checking us in came out rather quick after I loudly mentioned to my husband this was a common complaint, though the lobby reeked like smoke. It was very cheap and we got 2 rooms, but the one room did not have a doorknob on the bathroom door and it was cracked as if kicked in. The "maid" asked us if we needed anything on day 2 and my husband asked her to make the bed. Thats it. We came back and the beds were NOT made. All the other comments are totally true. We had a bug in the room. The top floor looked as if it would cave in from outside. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower. The fridge door was stained. The "remodeling" was done clearly half- assed. I mean, it was a cheap place available on a holiday so I cannot complain too much. But, if you want quality do NOT by any means, go to this hotel. I went to go to my moms for the holiday with my family. I will never EVER go back. Despite saving the money. I would rather save the headache and worrying about catching a disease. But, the beds were clean and comfy!! So....i guess....ok. If you go during the summer DO NOT use the pool!!!! My husband has been a pool guy his whole life and they didnt cover it at all in off season and it is not properly maintained. Given the rest of the place - do NOT swim in that pool unless you have good health insurance!!!!! I have many, many pics if you all wanna see. Thanks!

My family got there, soon as we walked in the room, it had a urine smell on the couch. Old food was left in the fridge,, carpet was dirty . It was so Nasty we cancel right away and left to another motel. Never again will i ever book here again.

There were too many knats in the room, during check in, the front desk person was nice. But during my stay, when I needed something asking the person who was there at the time was bothersome. He was busy chatting on his phone, also, the room could've definitely been cleaner. The walls and doors should be wiped down thoroughly, and maybe hire a exterminator to take care of the bad knat problem. I don't think I would stay there again.

The room was dirty, the linoleum floor covered with dead flies especially in or near the bathroom. The bathroom did not look thoroughly cleaned, with dirty grout, and the shower curtain did not contain water within the shower. The towels were thin and rough.

Toilet was dirty and the bed 🛌 didn't look clean.

In need of major update. Okay for a night. Only option available on last min trip. Broken bathroom door, paint peeling. Broken floor tiles. Clean sheets and towels and easy check in were the only pros.

Service was poor and unprofessional when checking in for my stay, customer service person was rude and the room was shaky at best. I had to put the chair in front of the door. Room was outdated the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The only place to stay for the area I needed to be in. Next time I’ll travel the distance to not ever stay here. People falling on the window and very loud you can hear the room next door conversation.

The room was large and comfortable with a firm bed. The bathroom was large also. Love the TV with many choices..

Room smelled like smoke. I don’t think it was a smoking room but the out door smoke coming in from the AC unit. There was paint chipping on the ceiling. The price was good but quality not so much. I guess the saying you get what you pay for applies.

The room was nice except the door did not fit properly and a lot of bugs had come into the room and died on the floor. Not one or two but, lots and lots.

The TV did not work in our room. When we contacted the front desk, they were no help and would not accommodate us on this matter. We asked for corporate information. They said we had to contact Expedia because we went through a third-party.

I liked that it was close to the weekend event I was attending and the price of the room was affordable. What I didn't like was the nasty attitude of the desk clerk during check-in and when I complained about the dirty and unsafe room. I was given another, much suitable room, later that day. Wouldn't recommend this property to anyone.

The younger gentleman who managed the front desk was rude, condescending, used unprofessional language and was all around not positive, not friendly and just unpleasant. He was very accusatory in a negative way.

I enjoyed my stay here. I arrived @ 10:30 am and check in was 2pm so happy that they let me check in @ 11am. Drove from new york for the crab and cruise event. My room was clean towels smelled great. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Thank u guys for being so nice 💓

I selected this hotel because it takes dogs. 3 hours after we checked in someone from the front desk called my room about my dog. 15 minutes later he came to the room and asked if my husband had 20.00 in cash or she can come to the front desk and pay 25.00. I went to the front desk and he told me since I went through a third party I would have to call the hotel direct to be told that if you bring a dog it is 25.00 per night. My grandson dog is an emotional support pet because my grandson has autism. I just feel this was sneaky how they handles this situation and it upset my grandson badly because he thought they were going to take his dog away and I had to stay up with him most of the night until he calmed him down until he fell asleep. And when I got up to leave the manager came around and asked me if I paid for the dog and I told him yes. I paid last night and he just walked away. I do not think a business should be run this way and I will never come back to this hotel. I would prefer to drive the extra 25 miles and pay more before coming back to this place. I would like to speak to a manager because my grandson dog is a support dog because my grandson has autism and I do not feel I should have paid the 25.00.

When we got there, no one was at the front desk (4 pm), and I waited at least 5 minutes for the owner/manager to walk in from outside. No hello, no apology for making me wait. He seemed irritated that I wanted two key cards for two people. Next morning, we tried to call the front desk for a late checkout. He had the phone off the hook, so we had to walk down. He would only give us an extra half hour, even though there were only four cars in the parking lot. When we left, he was standing out in the parking lot, just staring at us! I rolled down the window and said goodbye, but he just glared at us! It was super creepy! The room was very clean, so if you don’t care about service or attitude, by all means, stay there.

My stay was fine room was clean staff was friendly .

I don’t recommend this place for anyone especially families. We were in the room for not even an hour before we had to leave and go stay somewhere else. We felt so uncomfortable and unsafe staying there.

It’s a motel but it’s in a nice secluded location,quiet and comfortable,very basic yet accommodating.

It was fine for a quick overnight trip. It was very well lit so I felt safe. It is also a mile from the police station. We had access to various movie apps on the TV and you could connect your phone to the TV. It is less than 5 min from fast food restaurants and UMES.

It served our purpose. Just needed a place to sleep after the bluegrass festival in Crisfield. Clean.

Room was exactly as pictured on web. Bedding was clean, so was bathroom. Tv was smart could use your streaming services if you wanted to. If you did not it is a strugle to watch. No local stations or cable. Outside is being worked on I think. Conveince store within 1 mile drive. Downtown historic princess anne 5 min drive. Would use again.

Exactly what we needed for the price and location.

There are several families living at this hotel it seems. It is very loud there. The rooms were clean and beds were good but it didn't feel overly safe at night for solo female travelers. The hotel itself is very run down.

It's in a highly Crime in drug area. When we reported that we didn't feel safe staying there she. Refused to give us a refund. We had to pay for one night. And then was charged for three Night, but we didn't stay at all.

smelled of cigarettes and smoke. curtains had holes that you could see through with no privacy, lamp and chair were stained and light fixtures were broken. upon arriving, another guests was arguing with staff about their stay and prior to leaving, a different guest was in conflict with the staff as well. no where to eat nearby, no convenience stores, and the smell of cigarettes was absurd. would not recommend.

Had to wait getting assistance at front desk. Minimal breakfast available. A hair in the cream cheese brought to their attention that was put back for customer use.

The room itself is good, clean and convenient. The outside is in need of a good paint job. The breakfast consists of cold cereal & coffee. The front desk lady was very nice however the man who came to fix the tv was rude. For the price it NOT worth it. And an extra $100 for my 2 dogs. I definitely WILL NOT stay here again.

The person checking us in never even greeted us or even smiled at us, said maybe 5 words total (mostly telling us where to sign the paperwork), and was very unwelcoming. The bed and bathroom seemed clean, however, the motel itself, the motel grounds, and the surrounding area all appeared unattended to. The lobby and dining area wreaked of Fabreeze spray. The continental breakfast was just bagels and dry cereal. No fruit or other options. Sorry to say, I will never stay at an Econolodge ever again, assuming they will all be this way. Very dissatisfied.

The bed comfort and room (201) was good. The continental breakfast was fair. The property grounds needs a lot of professional landscaping work and outside building repair work is desperately needed The office manager is not personable
