Pet friendly and the staff is very nice

The motel is great but parking is a major problem. Not enough spots. Had to park across the street in another lot that was a long walk in the rain

The ocean and water view was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The bath shower were great except for the smaller size toilet. Could be a problem with a very large person. The breakfast area was neat and clean and well stocked. The parking areas were very tight and poor. Especially for larger vehicles.

Property only had upstairs rooms - NO ELEVATOR - They assigned us an upstairs room. We are both over 70 years old and had to haul luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The lack of an elevator was never mentioned in the advertising nor reservation process with Expedia. Major problem.

The room was ok, comfy beds; however the parking was absolutely terrible! The parking lot was so full of cars we had to park in an unauthorized zone but staff told us it was ok would not get towed away. To pull out of the parking lot you need to roll your window down to listen for cars coming as the hotel is just after a curve so pulling out of parking lot is very unsafe because you can't see cars coming at 50 miles an hour around the curve.

Clean with comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious and had a safe, stubbled floor in the shower. Breakfast was provided and gave us a great start to the day. Parking was tight.

The breakfast was free, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal,Jimmy dean sausage sandwich and breakfast bars were great. The walls in the room need a good cleaning or repainted on the inside. The cob webs near the floor by the bed were awful. There was black mold on the walls. Carpets need to be replaced. The broken window in the bathroom washeld together with tape that had bugs stuck tout. The air conditioning was very good. Beds were comfortable.

The rooms are old and dirty and bugs are prevalent. I would not stay here again. They lied about the room rate, yes, they gouged me when it came to the price, and there was no customer service. If you want your money taken from you and you wanna be mistreated then go for it not a great place to say the only good thing is it's walkable to Bar Harbor. If you don't mind walking over a mile, but it is not worth it. In my opinion it's very dirty and I felt mistreated.

Black mold was on the whole back wall , they knowingly put us in the room when they were aware of the health concern, they had a humidifier running in the room to try to limit the mold growth ..

Our room was very clean for our 2 night stay. It is a roadside hotel, but the noise during the night was minimal. Short driving distance to downtown Bar Harbor or to Acadia. Staff was professional and helpful.

Room smelled like mold/mildew as soon as we came in the door. Didn't look like caulk/sealant had been used around the base of the newer shower or sink. Had to take allergy meds to control symptoms, but bed was super comfortable and housekeeping was very helpful. Other hotel options were limited over the busy weekend. Breakfast offerings were limited to a few grab and go items, with no variety from day to day and seating in the breakfast area was limited.

Room was very humid, despite keeping the AC on and the window open. No fan in the bathroom so showers left the bathroom very humid and moist. Very tight quarters, even getting in the door was a squeeze.

Staff was very friendly, the bathrooms were very nice & location was convenient. The free local buses pickup across the street for easy transportation. The doors for the rooms were not sealed around and the walls are nearly paper thin, could hear people talking and doors slamming closed throughout the night.

Super noisy rooms with single pane glass on a busy road. I suggest sleeping with ear plugs. Would not stay here again, very expensive for what you get.

The view of the harbor is nice. The rooms are small and walls are thin if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. The staff were professional

Place is too close to the road. Road noise through night. Not enough parking spacing for rooms. Had to park far from out room each night. Had a truck backed up to our door. At 4:00a.m. a car comes into lot. Someone gets out, starts truck and leaves. Truck most likely should not have been on site. Door is wood, not easy to open and close. Not vent in the bath. Could here people walking on the floor above.

Clean, quiet and great staff!

They offered "early check-in" for an extra fee, but we did not opt for that. We arrived a little early, just to find out if we could park on the property while we explored town (yes). We returned promptly at 3pm. We were told, "your room us not ready yet; there are 13 rooms left to clean." The clerk was leaving at 3pm. His replacement worked to find us a room, but the computer system shut down. After two reboots, we got a room (235). The room was not very clean, and we found insects in the bathroom, which we traced to an open window with holes in its screen. Why? ... because there is no exhaust fan in this bathroom. The window faces a sheer cliff, which seems to bounce the (hot) exhaust from air conditioners back into the room. The A.C. was inefficient so the room was very warm for the whole stay. Other problems: The shower (tub) is very dirty. The hot-water wouldn't shut off (they did repair it eventually, but it was on "full" for hours) After the hot water could be stopped, the cold water handle began to leak (mildly) from its base, so the top of the sink was constantly wet. The "complimentary breakfast" opened gradually, but wasn't yet ready by 7am when we needed to start our day. We stayed for three nights (Mon-Tues-Weds), but NEVER got the room cleaned. The garbage mounted, and we had to go find replacement towels twice. The TV works and has plenty of channels BUT there is no guide .... good luck finding your show. The worst? It was $884 for three nights.

Location was great for walking into Bar Harbor. It is very difficult to find parking in Bar Harbor so being able to leave car at property was great. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff were extremely helpful & friendly! The room was quiet & is great location to either enter the town of Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park. The property is not new but had upgrades for charging electronics. Would highly recommend this place!!!!

We were actually sent from the Days Inn to the Holiday Inn across the street so they could accommodate our early check in and king bed requests. That was much appreciated!

I was completely shocked when I showed up at the hotel and I received an upgrade due to overbooking. They sent me to their sister hotel. Wow!! Fabulous!! I truly enjoyed. Thank you for the great stay. This review is based on that property because that was where I stayed. Couldn’t have been happier!!!

We stayed for two nights. The room was hot, and the AC was not turned on for us prior to our arrival. It took several hours for it to cool down. When we went out the next day, we expected to come back to a refreshed room (i.e. removal of trash, fresh towels, more coffee for the Keurig, toiletries, etc.) Instead, it was just as we had left it. I called the front desk and was told that they only provide that service every other day. This was not mentioned in the initial reservation, at check-in, or posted in the room. The one sign by the towels read, "Dry Off. Hang Up. 'For fresh towels, leave your used ones on the floor and we'll replace them.'" This seems ridiculous for guests that stay more than one night. The breakfast choices were fairly good, but the staff seemed put out to keep fresh coffee and other items readily available. One guest told me a staff member actually rolled their eyes when she told them there was no coffee. I also did not see anyone trying to keep the area clean or tidy. Upon check-out, the clerk didn't say a word. It was almost insulting. I would not stay there again.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Just wish the pillows were thicker. We absolutely loved Maine! Beautiful state to visit.

Far enough out of town to make it peaceful but just a 3 min drive to get coffee and food. Very convenient for catching the Island Hopper Bus to Acadia Park as well.

Great location, walkable to downtown Bar Harbor (20minute walk). Below average comfort/rundown hotel for the cost but you are paying for the location. Also only a 5 minute drive to Acadia National Park which was outstanding!

Property is conveniently located but situated in a turn on a busy street with limited visibility when exiting the parking lot.

Was a great stay and not too pricey. Room was clean and spacious. Not too far from downown, but there is free bus rides for the Common Green every half hour, and a stop right across from the entrance. Very quiet, even though we were on the first floor, and both levels were full.

Pretty standard fare you can expect from a budget hotel, the view outside the door was amazing. The mini fridge did not work, no housekeeping for 3 nights, 4 days, and maybe they can add sliced bread into the breakfast menu, otherwise the stay was pretty uneventful.

Convenient to get to Town or National Park, on free bus route. walkable to town. Property is getting long in the tooth.

We were so happy with our stay. This property is only 10 minutes by car to Acadia National Park. It is also convenient to catching the free shuttle bus to and from downtown Bar Harbor (bus stop is right across the street). It is only a short, half-mile walk to the downtown area. So many great restaurants and shopping, and beautiful sights to see in Bar Harbor! The hotel breakfast was excellent. Lots of delicious and healthy choices to fuel up for hikes in nearby Acadia National Park. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Good location

Very disappointed with staff. Breakfast was not as pictured. No real cooked food. Prepared packaged food, ran out of coffee cups, knives and other items. No one at the front desk most of the time. No egg or meat dishes, toast, waffles or pancakes like Best Western! We certainly will not recommend Days Inn to anyone. We will choose Best Western always! A partial refund should be given to guest since we had to go to a restaurant for a healthy substancial breakfast! Please respond!

The doors are very difficult to open and close, which causes guests to slam them constantly throughout the day. This was especially disruptive in the early morning hours. On the first day at breakfast, most of the food had already run out, and the staff didn’t seem very interested in restocking it. As for the rooms, the bedding felt damp, and the entire room had a musty odor. The air conditioning unit smelled so unpleasant that we had to switch it off and open the windows instead—fortunately, the weather made that a workable option. Definitely not worth 150 per night they charge

I would not call what was offered "breakfast" - there was only a few COLD choices (I mean, you can heat up your one option of breakfast sandwich, but otherwise, everything is cold) Also, when you get a text to check-in, they don't honor anything you put down. (I had the option of checking in an hour early, complimentary, so we headed there and the room wasn't ready - DO NOT offer this service if you can't honor it) Room is OK but for what you're paying, you expect more - especially from such a touristy town. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you have the option.

This property was in a great location! Shuttle bus picks up right across the street. The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed. Some furnishings were run down - but clean. The “grab & go” breakfast was not great for my family, but other guests seemed to like it. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was tight - especially when a big truck took 2 spaces! Overall, good stay!

Great stay here. Breakfast was basic but good and it’s very close to downtown Bar Harbour.

Overall good stay. Likes - good breakfast provided and water dispenser for filling bottles. Good location - 5 minutes by car to center of Bar Harbor Less good - property needs upgrading.

Breakfast food was often not available and coffee machine was unbelievably slow and not enough room to sit
