Great small, local spot. Close to the active downtown Bar Harbor area, but toward the end so quiet in the evenings. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants, water front areas you would want. Can also walk to bike rental locations and then less than 2 miles from Acadia National Park. Free breakfast and coffee available 24 hours a day.

Hotel is easily walkable to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. It's on a busy street but has parking in the rear and was still quiet at night. While the building itself is older, the room was nicely updated, clean and had what we needed. Front lobby offers some nice free juices, chocolates, snacks, etc.

A lovely hotel, immaculate inside and out....loved the quirky wallpaper and ornaments in the reception area! Our check in was straight forward and the staff very friendly. Our room was two flights of stairs up and was lovely but hard work lugging cases up as no elevator so if you have mobility issues let the hotel know on booking! Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable....no kettle or coffee making facilities in the room but there is free coffee and cake etc at reception for you to help yourself to. Breakfast is also the same....cereal, coffee etc at reception but no designated dining room....we opted for fabulous Blueberry Pancakes at Jordans just across the street. The hotel is in a great area, about a 10 minute walk to the marina area with lots of great restaurants and shops! We really enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel.

Beautiful little B&B. As a group of 3 friends, it was hard to find bedding to accommodate us, but they did. I can't recommend for the disabled. While staff took our bags upstairs (no elevator), it was difficult to find someone to assist us with our bags at check out. I'd stay again if I can get a ground floor suite next time.

Great Inn within walking distance (2-3 blocks) to retail and restaurants, but far enough to be quiet. It wasn’t a problem for us, but we were on top floor [3rd) and there is no elevator. Highly recommended.

Great blonde brownies upon arrival! Very attentive staff! The steps up to the third floor were very steep and dangerous without a bellman. Great location and very walkable area.

We drove in late into the city of Bar Harbor after dinner. The check in lady was very pleasant and advised us where to park and breakfast. The property itself was excellent. We were planning to go to Cadillac Mountain for sunrise, and the location is perfect just at the doorstep of Acadia National park. It is has good dining options around. There is tea, juice and complimentary snacks 24 hours, that was just the icing on the cake. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Had an amazing stay at the Little Fig in Bar Harbor - only wish we'd stayed longer! Excellent room, had the best sleeps of our trip in the comfortable king bed. Reception staff were very lovely and friendly. Grab and go breakfast was super convenient, plenty of free parking to the rear and a short walk into Bar Harbor itself.

For the price paid, the room was not clean. There was a bar of used soap in the tub, toilet could have been cleaner, there’s 3 each Kleenex tissues in the 2 tissue boxes looks like you are rationing tissues? there were leftover cookie crumbs on the night stand. The mini fridge had food smudges on the door. Ice bucket missing a liner. We stayed one night but enough. Majority of the time was spent out exploring. It’s very convenient to walk around. Free parking on property. The beverage and grab n go items are great.

We absolutely adored Little Fig! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and our room was always comfortable and clean. Little Fig is our go to spot to stay whenever we visit Acadia again (which we will do more than once)!

My wife and I love this hotel! The woman at the front desk was so great and welcoming upon our arrival late Saturday night. We were greeted with great hospitality and complimentary brownies and baklava. Both of which were amazing! She asked if we had dinner plans and proceeded to prepare a great list of local restaurants to try out while we settled in to our room. The room was large and beautifully decorated, and once we came out to grab our curated list of restaurants we ended up trying exactly what we were told we should try at Tap and Barrel Tavern. Both dishes were amazing! 1 million out of a 1 million stars, would definitely recommend. Would love to find another excuse to come back all the way from California.

A great place to stay in Bar Harbor. The property is on the edge of downtown making entry and exit very easy with a car. The lobby has free bars and coffee to grab before early morning hikes. The supermarket is almost across the street. Two early morning (5am, 6am) breakfast places are just down the street maybe two minutes walk. Grab it if it's available! We had the apartment room with a small kitchen and king bed. Highly recommended!

This has been one of the best hotel stays we have had. The staff has been amazing and very helpful. We ended up booking two more nights because we loved it so much. The beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean. The bathtub is deep and long. We are able to get drinks or snacks anytime we would like that is complimentary. It’s very close to the beach and the Main Street for shopping and dining. I could not be happier with this choice. I scoured the internet for hours trying to find the right place.

The location is just far enough to be away from the clamor of the shops and restaurants to be quiet, yet close enough to be within walking distance of anywhere you would like to go to around town. The room was clean, modern, and had a surprisingly large kitchen. Two grocery stores are very accessible by foot if you prefer to prepare some meals.

Very easy check in and friendly staff. We had a deluxe king room and it was huge ! Comfortable bed with extra pillows and very cold AC.Nice grab and go snacks and drinks throughout the day. Hotel is very quaint with nice toiletries. The biggest difficulty was navigating the stairs as we were on the 3rd floor. Walkable to everything but further enough away so it was quiet. Would definitely stay again.

The original room we were in (on the ground floor) has very thin walls, you can easily hear everything going on in the neighboring room. We did complain and the very nice understanding front desk lady had us moved to a quieter room on the 3rd floor.

We stayed with a group of friends on a couples trip. Our room was clean and comfortable and we loved the location as well as the well appointed lobby with snacks, water, coffee, and yummy treats in the late afternoon/evening. The very best part of our stay was Kina, who worked the front desk from 3-11. She was so much fun and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was an absolute gem!! If I have one critique it would be the small pillows on the bed. They are barely a standard size pillow. Kina came to the rescue and found us a couple better pillows after the first night. Overall we loved our stay. Thank you!

The property has been updated and is super quiet and convenient. Only wish the shower area had been more updated (room 102)… the bath tub plug got stuck and had to be quickly fixed. The shower head was pretty old and didn’t have a lot of pressure. We lost hot water a few times. Would definitely stay here again though, we very much enjoyed the hotel and our stay at Bar Harbor. The Little Fig lobby had freshly baked goodies out every afternoon and we loved that there were yogurts, oatmeal, coffee, juices, water bottles and granola bars anytime we wanted to grab something. Great hospitality and super friendly front desk staff! The bed was comfortable too and the air conditioning worked great.

The room was large and beautifully decorated, and once we came out to grab our curated list of restaurants we ended up trying exactly what we were told we should try at Tap and Barrel Tavern. Both dishes were amazing! 1 million out of a 1 million stars, would definitely recommend. Would love to find another excuse to come back all the way from California.
My wife and I love this hotel! The woman at the front desk was so great and welcoming upon our arrival late Saturday night. We were greeted with great hospitality and complimentary brownies and baklava. Both of which were amazing! She asked if we had dinner plans and proceeded to prepare a great list of local restaurants to try out while we settled in to our room. A great inn and a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable and extremely accessible to all restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Always available hot, gourmet coffee and snacks. Great stay and would definitely choose again!!

We really enjoyed everything about this property. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location was great for accessing Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!!

We stayed with a group of friends on a couples trip. Our room was clean and comfortable and we loved the location as well as the well appointed lobby with snacks, water, coffee, and yummy treats in the late afternoon/evening. The very best part of our stay was Kina, who worked the front desk from 3-11. She was so much fun and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was an absolute gem!! If I have one critique it would be the small pillows on the bed. They are barely a standard size pillow. Kina came to the rescue and found us a couple better pillows after the first night. Overall we loved our stay. Thank you!

The property is okay, but the desk staff were quite apathetic and seemed disinterested in serving their guests. Also we were given a room on the 3rd floor. We were not warned in the hotel description that there is no elevator. We had a lot of luggage. We were offered no help n getting up the stairs. Yet the room rate does not reflect these conditions.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cute inn, and will book here again next time I visit Bar Harbor. Everyone was great, but I especially appreciated the warm welcome and excellent recommendations from Suzie at the front desk. She made me a little list of local's spots that she thought I'd like in the park -- every recommendation was spot on. Already looking forward to visiting again.

Highly recommend. The property is located at the beginning of the more vusier area of Bar Harbor. The location is easily walkable to the waterfront. The property was beautiful and room fresh and clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly (Hi, Memphis!). And the morning offerings of pasteries and local coffee were delicious! Kina did an amazing job giving us advice of places to eat and go in Bar Harbor. She was absolutely delightful! We loved the coffee and snack bar available all day. And the delicious homemade chocolate brownies! The Inn is absolutely adorable and so charming! Plenty of space to put all our things. Bed was very comfortable.

The inn is not right on the harbor or on Main Street but because of this, ‘twas a little less chaotic in the immediate vicinity. The harbor, the village green and Main Street were an easy 5 to 10 minute walk.

Great small, local spot. Close to the active downtown Bar Harbor area, but toward the end so quiet in the evenings. Walkable to all the shops, restaurants, water front areas you would want. Can also walk to bike rental locations and then less than 2 miles from Acadia National Park. Free breakfast and coffee available 24 hours a day.

Hotel is easily walkable to the waterfront, restaurants and shops. It's on a busy street but has parking in the rear and was still quiet at night. While the building itself is older, the room was nicely updated, clean and had what we needed. Front lobby offers some nice free juices, chocolates, snacks, etc.

We had a great stay at the Little Fig! We stayed for a week. Parking very convenient and we were just on the edge of town. Easy to walk to the busy area and equally as easy to drive out to Acadia. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Loved being close enough to walk to everything! We were able to rent bikes across the street and drive them safely to the carriage roads in Acadia to spend a perfect day at the park. Great staff and location

Loved our stay at little fig! The rooms have been recently updated and are spacious and clean. The breakfast options were really lovely and the blueberry coffee is delicious! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Highly Recommend!

The “included” breakfast is a misnomer. A few off-the-shelf breakfast items with bad quality croissants, no proper place to sit down for breakfast. Rooms not cleaned without follow up. Disinterested & even incompetent staff. I booked two rooms and they kept insisting they could see booking for one room. It took time to check in. One expects far better value for over $450/ per day per room!!

Suzi at the front desk was exceptional...knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! What we didn't like was that there is no elevator and they put us on the THRIRD floor, we are in our 70's, that was not good at all! Also no eating area, just "grab and go" items.

We were welcomed by a very helpful and enthusiastic staff person who had made the most delicious brownies I’ve ever had. She had a great suggestion for dinner, and in the morning the inn provided a grab and go breakfast with protein bars, large muffins and more. The room was lovely with two queen beds that were across a large room from each other. That would make it great for friends traveling together to have their own space. The bathroom was spacious also. The only thing I was wary of was a shallow step at the threshold to the bathroom, which I had to be careful to remember so as not to stumble. The inn is walking to all of the shopping and restaurants in Bar Harbor, and a short drive to Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Quint little property within walking distance of town. Expensive for what you get. The towels were terrible - so thin and rough. Good continental breakfast and fresh cookies baked in afternoon. It was very humid in the room. Bed was comfy.

The room was clean. The bed was very small and only had three pillows. The tv was hard to operate and there were no cable channels or directions. As for the breakfast, the pastries were very tasty but limited. When they were gone they were gone. Don’t sleep in.

This was a great hotel. Our room was a two bedroom setup which was perfect for two adults needing their own space. It was on the quiet side of town yet walkable to everything in town. Five minute drive to Acadia entrance. And ...PARKING!! The other fabulous feature was the very well stocked pantry for guest use! Water, juice, snack bars, fruit, coffee and tea....all day long. There's also a large grocery across the street. We love this hotel and we WILL be back! Thank you Little Fig!

This was a very unique setting with clean rooms, wonderful customer service, COFFEE all day if needed, delicious muffins, and lots of snacks for on-the-go guests. The bed was so comfortable, and the bathroom was larger than anticipated. Wonderful experience, and we stayed two nights! Right in the heart of Bar Harbor.
