Great service and breakfast was fantastic. They were remodeling, but they were super conscientious about it and even offered extra bonus points.

This hotel is well situated. It's a little tired. Amazing how expensive Travers City is.

it was a good bargain. Property needs updating which is stated as you come in. They are going to start this soon. They did not set out any more of their cinnamon rolls. We got only one. It was only 8:30 when breakfast went for another hour. Staff was pleasant.

Will stay here again. Hotel was being renovated during our stay. Room was clean, hotel was reasonably quiet. The pool was well kept with plenty of towels. The breakfast was nice with a good variety of options.

Very well kept property. Desk clerk is very nice.

One complaint would be the shower water temperature only got to luke warm. Everybody likes a hot shower and we didn’t get that.

The staff was all very friendly, cleanings were constantly going on even testing the pool and hot tub water, the room was all redone and very modern and the breakfast was very good!! The only thing is that on their website it showed a water view from the front of the hotel and there wasnt one. But we will definitely return.

I liked the fact that their breakfast area was over organized, and they kept it stocked up from the time breakfast started until it finished. I also liked the fact the pool was open from 5:30am to 11pm everyday. Makes it very convenient for everyone.

The elevator wasn't working .

Staff was smoking out front when we pulled up. It seemed we caught him by surprise. The entire lobby and front desk smelled of cigarette smoke which is bad for us as I am allergic to it. I'm not sure why staff would be smoking near the front door of the property. Seems very disrespectful to guests. Hotel was very noisy, rear entrance was very inconvenient but it is the one we were told to use. Stay elsewhere.

Mosquitoes or some close relative all over in entrance ways and steps and in dining room. Gobs. On the floor, window sills, and walls. If they had been in my room I would’ve left and demanded a refund

We stayed 2 nights with a large group who had several rooms and the first night was fine. Second night we got back to our hotel to find that someone had puked all down the hallway on the 3rd floor with a majority of it directly in front of our room. It had been sitting for a while at this point as well, it was around 9:15 pm. We called down to the front desk as we were not able to get to our room without stepping in it and were told "we don't have housekeeping until tomorrow" to which we said that is unacceptable and it needed to be cleaned up as it is a biohazard and it stunk which was making our room stink. She attempted to clean it but still left a large majority of the bits and chunks. It was all there still at 9 am the next morning when we went down for breakfast. So we complained at the desk and the person there tried to argue that it was cleaned up......um nope, still can't get in and out of our room without stepping in it. She was quite rude and tried to say that if they had ran the carpet cleaner the night before, they would have had more complaints than just leaving it which is utter crap since about half of our group was ON THAT FLOOR AND ALL OF US WERE DISGUSTED!!! She then said she would send someone right up to clean it......someone finally showed up an hour later. The elderly gentleman in the room across from us had to drag their luggage through it to leave. Then refused to discount the room due to these issues because we booked through expedia

Footprints on the bathroom tile. Grungy, water damage in bathroom and a strange insistence on getting my license plate before I could get a room key. Will not be returning.

This hotel was terrible. The smell from the bathroom was so bad that we lasted about 5 minutes in the room. When we left I asked for a refund and the front desk person said I'd have to talk with Expedia. Expedia told me that I needed to get Holiday Inn to approve the reimbursement. They refused. I just called the manager and asked for a refund because we couldn't stay in the room because of the smell. She went on the attack said I had caused a scene-- I had very quietly told the front desk person that we'd be leaving because of the smell. Terrible service. Dirty/smelly room.

The staff was very helpful whenever we needed them. Rooms are nice, mattresses new and comfortable, comforters and pillows exceptionally nice. The biggest negative is location...on the very border of town, with access via a very fast 4 lane highway (no traffic lights).

The property was fine. A lot of noise from people closing their doors, so not very soundproof. Also, they literally had the trash picked up outside at 1:00 a.m.!

We were on the third floor and was able to see the sunset across the bay nightly. Beautiful view of the bay.

Our “standard” room was exceptionally large, comfortable bed, nicely maintained.
