Staff was helpful. Pool and gym was good.

Unfortunately we weren’t there as long as I was hoping. So I don’t want to rate a whole lot, but pool was clean, they are upgrading, we didn’t eat breakfast, area safe and quiet. Room was very very spacious. I’ll stay again if up that way

The doors did not lock properly. It looked closed, but anyone outside could push their way in. We found this out when mybson went into the hall, forgot something, and walked back into the room without a problem. He held the door closed and it didn't latch. It wasnt until it was slammed thst it locked properly. The pool was super cold and the workout room was a joke. 3 machines and none of them were working. The only positive i can say about this hotel is that the rooms are spacious.

The micro door handle was broke at the bottom and the pool was cold. This is Michigan; the pool needs to be heated. We chose this place for the pool so now we can’t stay at this place again because the pool is not heated. The breakfast was fine.

Location was 1 mile from location I was visiting, clean, quiet and friendly staff. Could use a bigger gym and updated exercise equipment. But for the price it is more than reasonable

The back parking lot was sketchy. Felt unsafe outside.

Simply enough the room I picked for the great price, was spacious and clean. I had 2 beds and then a pullout couch which was perfect. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. I had view of the pond in the back which was great. The room was clean, comfortable, had a coffee maker, hair dryer, little bars of soap. The indoor pool wasnt very deep but was very fun and i was surprised to see a little fitness room as well. The breakfast was good, the staff was polite and mannerable. No complaints. All comfort.

The pool was cold and no syrup for breakfast however everything else was good

First night of our 2 nights there was loud bass music from 2am to 4am 2nd night we had the fire alarm go off due to some sort of systems mishap issue at 1030pm we were outside for over an hour waiting in chilly weather and all we got was a apology no inconvenience money back or anything so your systems need upgrades breakfast was okay pool was mediocre there is no hot tub even though it was in the listing probably would stay at hyatt or crown plaza next time

Front desk lady that checked me in was very nice. The curtains didn't close and the shade didnt block out the lights from the parking lot. The printer in the business center didnt work. Otherwise everything was good.

Upon booking the hotel looks really nice. However, even after checking the beds for bedbugs, when I went to pack up the next morning I found 2 bedbugs on my children’s bags! Not to mention the pool is freezing ! And the freezer was full of defrosted then refrozen ice

Check in was smooth. No issues. Location was ideal for us. The room had issues with cleanliness. Water damage in areas of ceiling, also noted in breakfast area. There was a large sticky spot on the carpet by the door. I have no idea what it was. There was something on the baseboard in the entryway that was dirty, but not stained, leading me to believe it was an issue with the rooms cleaning, not age or condition. There were multiple strands of long black hairs in one of the comforter. The toilet clogged with normal use. Went to ask for a plunger and it did not help. Tried to take the grandkids to the pool, but there was obviously a group of people having a party for multiple pre teens, even though the signage said parties were not allowed. My grandkids could not use the pool as they were loud and boisterous, and every time they tried to get in the group spread out in the pool taking up space so they could not. We just left. The beds were comfortable and we slept ok until cops came for someone in our hall. The breakfast bar in the morning had good variety. The waffle maker was rigged and you had to hold it up while the timer ran. While we were eating the fire alarms went off and workers were running around while more and miss people gathered in the breakfast area but at no time did anyone let us know what was going on. After several minutes the alarms stopped. Several minutes after that we dispersed. If you need a cheap, basic place to stay, it's OK. I wouldn't take my famil

There was black mold. 2 of us now struggling to breathe out of 6. Had to move 3 times. 1st time due to an excessive amout of giz in a room they were warned would have 4 children staying in. At breakfast the breakfast area was leaking water from the light area near the microwave and waffle machine. The fix was a little bucket. Until a customer cleaned up the mess. Never AGAIN! Cant get photos to upload but i have photos.

We were disappointed in the cleanliness and general condition of the hotel. Staff were not friendly, and there was garbage on the floor of the lobby, breakfast area, and hotel room. We would not choose to stay here again.

We reserved a King bed room. First attendant gave us a double Queen bed room. The room was still in the process of being cleaned when we got their. Went down to the desk to get what we reserved. The second attendant again gave us a double Queen bed room. Bathroom was dirty, dusty fan. Shower had weird brown stains in the tub. Toilet had what looked like bowel stain like it hadn't been cleaned that went away with flushing. Overall gross!

There curly hairs all over both beds as wells as crumbs, from the state of the bedding it looked like they used the same bedding from the previous guess and didn’t wash them. A white substance dripping down the bed side table, brown liquid running down the air conditioner. Curly hairs all over the shampoo bottles as well as the bathroom, dirty floors and the sink hadn’t been cleaned. When I first got to the hotel the cleaning ladies were just standing in the hallway talking about their personal lives, so no wonder the cleanings not being done. Too busy talking to each other,I paid $100 to stay here for 1 night and was beyond disappointed and disgusted, I would not stay here again and would NOT recommend.

We arrived very late and tired. Went up to the room, set our bags down, brushed our teeth, and went to sleep. Woke up in the morning and realized what a disgusting, dirty room we were in. Food on the floor, sticky stuff all over the mirrors, tv’s and pictures, floor not vacuumed, etc…See photos below.

Fine hotel, nice enough staff, definitely brought home bed bugs though which sucks :( please check for bed bugs

When I arrived the sheets on both beds were dirty, one of bed had an eyelash extension under the covers and the other had a large dark spot on the flat sheet. When I asked if they could change the sheets while I was out, they told me all they could do was give me the sheets to do it myself. Also, the couch cushions were dirty, the window screens were bent, and the walls are paper thin. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We were there for my son’s travel game. Early on Sunday we were made aware that it was an hour later. We asked if we could have an extra hour for check out, the young woman at the desk was very rude and stated we had to request 24 hours in advance. We didn’t even check in for our stay 24 hours in advance. Our hotel room looked as if it had not be cleaned, bugs were on the air conditioning unit, with dust and dirt on the window sills. The handles on everything had a rusty dirty debris. We weren’t able to use the freezer for our ice packs because it was so overly frozen. The bed sheets had rips in them, the lights did not work by the bedside. The beds were aweful to sleep in. The phone was not plugged in. We stayed, but could not recommend this hotel moving forward. We have used this hotel chain previously and had wonderful experience, we will not be back. We have 10-14 tournaments a year in this area where we could have spent a few thousand dollars. We will not be coming back, especially after the rude treatment from hotel staff.

The AC unit didn’t work. It blasted hot air all night and wouldn’t adjust. It was too late when we realized it to call maintenance. The shades were broken and wouldn’t lower to cover the window. Parking lot lights in my face all night. Very loud fights all night, ending in a huge fight in the parking lot with at least 40 people. 6 police cars showed up and stayed for hours.

Room darkening blinds did not work. Didn’t open or shut. They were permanently 80% closed Also not hot food in the warmers at breakfast for about 20 minutes Water pressure and temperature was great

Room, lobby and hotel looked to have been updated in the last 5 years but hasn’t been kept up too well. The retractable room darkening shade was broken, the bathtub drain wouldn’t seal for a bath and the entrance door was pretty crooked. A woman with her kids was carrying an armful of towels and said the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and there were no towels.

Anticipating arriving close to midnight, I called to make sure that we'd still be able to check in. The person answering the phone basically made me feel as though I was bothering them by calling. After checking in, we could smell pot in the corridors as we walked to our room. The room had a fridge that didn't keep our drinks cold even though it was turned all the way up. We had a balcony with a glass sliding door that had the lock broken off. There was no way to secure the door. In the morning we noticed dried drops of blood on the floor in the bathroom trailing to the sink. The shower and furniture in the room were old and worn. The TV and the TV control didn't work at all. The site says they offer a buffet breakfast. We went down for breakfast at 8:30 and there was one warming tray with what looked like rewarmed sausage links and patties. No eggs. The so called warmer had no sterno and anything keeping the food warm. This is a health code violation to have food just sitting out. When I asked if they would be making more eggs. The woman who was there told me that they had no eggs at all because they ran out yesterday. Her response was with a major attitude. She then said she just got a delivery in but nothing about making any thing hot. I have a wheat allergy so I can't eat anything else they had.. At that point we just grabbed coffee and went back to our room.. The staff needs training in hospitality.

We loved how much space we had in our room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. They had great hours for breakfast and the pool.

The room itself was comfortable. However the walls are thin and we could hear everything in the next room and hallways. The room next door was up till 4:00 am being very loud. At 5:30am a baby was screaming in the hallway, then police officer was knocking on a room door near us. We didn’t sleep at all. There was no shower curtain in our room. Will not stay here again.

Room air condition not functioning properly.

Was not my favourite my any means Had a large tub in room, the plug didn’t work, neither did the tub in the bathroom. Beds were extremely uncomfortable A thumping noise was constantly coming from outside

The environment is very good. You can see the small lake from the balcony, it’s very beautiful

I arrived to check on a Tuesday evening, in at approximately 9:40 PM. I waited for for approximately 15 minutes for the clerk to come out from the back area to check me in. I had pushed the front desk assistance button on two separate occasions. The clerk was not friendly when he did eventually show up. I will add that the day female desk clerk was very helpful and friendly at check out. My room was pretty clean, but I did find a tissue on the floor under the night stand and a piece of garbage on the closet floor. Let me be a fair and add that I would still recommend this property.

It took over 20 minutes for us to be helped at check-in and there were no other guests being checked in. Employee couldn't find our reservation because she was logged into the wrong location. She didn't know which rooms were clean & available and had to knock on doors to see if they were vacant. We had to wait 20 minutes for her to bring us keys and then our room was not stocked with towels. She told us she would bring us towels and another 20 minutes went by and nothing. We ended up having to get towels aftwr we got back which took over a half hour for them to bring them to us.

My stay was great! Chris was awesome with upgrading my suit for special occasion I planed for my boyfriend’s birthday. He was so accommodating I really appreciate him for is great customer service!

When we checked in they gave us a room two rooms they were still cleaning. We went downstairs and they fixed it and gave us two other rooms

Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would like to give a shout-out to Michelle, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasent stay, God bless her.

Room keys only worked 1 time and then had to go back to reset them at front desk every time. Front desk worker out smoking for several minutes while waiting to try to get into my room with malfunctioning keys.

Michelle at the front desk was excellent and always made sure we have everything we need. On the downside, check in time was at 3pm, we arrived at 4pm and our rooms weren’t ready until about 4:45pm. That was frustrating travelling with young kids. The hotel is just ok, nothing fancy but good location especially if you plan on doing shopping.

HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We showed up 2 hours after initial check in and the front desk worker was completely rude from the beginning. I waited 10 mins for someone to even come to the desk then when she did she Told me the room wasn’t ready and couldn’t check us in at all. I asked how much longer she stated 10-15 mins. So we waiting 30 then when I asked again and told her I thought it was ridiculous check in is at 3 and it’s now 5:30 still with no room. She told me “they are cleaning I don’t know what you want me to tell you, if you want it done faster then go help them. “ Needless to say that did not sit well with me it turned into a screaming match and me asking for a refund. The manager came apologized, got our room for us while the front desk person continued to yell at us from behind the wall until the manager had to tell her to shut up. The manager was great and other staff was nice but she was completely horrible, She needs to be terminated from that behavior. The Room was clean but hallways are not, hotel smells of weed everywhere. Parking lot had people sleeping in work trailers. Would not stay again ever.

Very handy if going to Pine Knob Music Theatre.

Close to great lakes mall and dining options. Breakfast is MEH! Nothing special, basic sausage and eggs, waffle maker toast and cereal! Friendly staff, rooms were clean, cool AC and hot heat (AC in the day and heat at night). TVs needs updated to smart TVs and carpets in hall ways appears worn out! With all that said, I'll stay here again!

Needed a 2 bed and pullout couch option. It it fine for a place to sleep while we did the Detroit concert scene. The breakfast was okay, no fresh fruit options

Good location, spacious rooms and pool was a plus. The breakfast is just ok at best. Not too many options. Key cards had to get reprogrammed a couple of times! The fire alarm also went on around 1045pm on our 3rd night!

We arrived around 5pm and housekeeping was just finishing cleaning the room. The room was clean and comfortable. We went down at 9:15 AM for breakfast and there was nothing left for hot food (fine, breakfast ends at 9:30), no plates for waffles, a couple bagels, and no coffee left. It was fine for the price and location, but wouldn’t recommend in the future for any stays longer than one night.
