construction on the main road to the hotel was redirected several times and had a hard time getting back to the hotel. Ice machines not working on the 3rd floor. At least there was not major construction going on in the hotel and parking lot like one of my previous bookings. It should be disclosed if the property is under renovation when hotel options are listed.

Dirty inside drawers, carpet smelled stale, walls dirty, dusty A/C unit is very old and didn't work most of the time. Entire building smelled stale and was too warm and muggy. People smoking pot outside front doors and pot smell lingered in hallways. Side outside door propped open all the time and lock/card entry appeared broken. Unable to upload photos, i took several.

Elevator out of order. Very low price, still should be a little better hotel.

They gave us the room for half off. Front desk was friendly and did all she could to help with the smell. A lot of male guests hanging around outside making us a little leary. Back door lock was broken so motel not secure. Beds slept well and breakfast was decent.

We did not like the surroundings, like the smokers outside side door, including the manager visibly smoking. Also, people near doorway on lawn chair. The same door was duck-taped open.

Smaller parking lot but overall a good place to stay.

Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was good. Shower was hot. Adequate parking. Lobby continually smelled like weed. Room (105) smelled like wet dog. Bathroom had mold on walls and hair on clean towels & countertop. Side door did not latch shut. We travel often and would not choose to stay here again.

Rooms were fine, food was OK. Elevator was not working, and they were unusually slow to get it repaired. Hallways have an unpleasant smell, like someone's been cooking there. Hassle with multiple rooms. I booked 3 rooms and asked ahead of time for them to be near each other. When I checked in, the front desk receptionist apparently had no idea I had requested this, but gave me rooms and assured me they were near each other. Two were, but one was 5 rooms down the hallway. I returned to the front desk and asked if there was anything nearer, and eventually got one right next door. My family and I have been staying at this hotel several weekends per year for over 5 years. Quality has declined during this time. I'll be looking for another option next time I visit Holland.

Quick n easy checkin and room clean ! Parking was accessible and safe.

Liked: cheapest rate in holland, breakfast was at pretty good for the price. Onsite laundry was helpful. Disliked: room seemed to need a deep cleaning. Cleaning staff tried to get into our room when we were in the room and then we had to ask them twice to leave. Front desk staff needs another member to man the front at all times. Can't be doing multiple jobs at once. No patio or space to smoke so people were sitting on the curb at all hours.

The bathroom was very dirty, there were cobwebs all over, the walls were filthy. The tub looked like it had been cleaned but the sink did not, the vent above the tub was so covered in dust, it was just caked on. The sheets looked to have been changed but there were cables running on top of the wardrobe thing and what I assume was the router or something was dangling from above the tv. There were people hanging outside of the doors, not for just a smoke break but for multiple hours just sitting on the curb.

The bathroom was not clean, and the room had a bad odor when we entered. The room was not clean.

The bed and pillows was comfortable and soft. The bathroom was spacious and big. There was a small apartment size fridge and freezer that was very clean!!! What I disliked was the remote for the TV was filthy dirty. And no one seemed to mention in other reviews but there were some unwanted cockroach friends that wanted to share the space.

If you are at all able, please avoid staying at this property. This was easily the dirtiest hotel I have ever visited. The washroom had a grey grime stain trail about the width of a human body leading from the sink to the shower. The shower curtain had black mold actively festering in the folds. The room was damp and uncomfortably moist and the air conditioner served as a humidifier working to add more warm moisture to the atmosphere. The beds were rock hard and had a distinctly dank odor. The door leading to the parking lot on the first floor had a nonfunctional lock, making it a free swinging door rendering the hotel key access useless. Anyone could saunter up and into the hotel without detection. My family was going on a 4 day camping trip. So, we wanted one night of a hotel respite before roughing it at our campsite. The hotel was so bad, we ended up leaving for the campsite early and just slept in the car until our site was ready. It’s not like you’d be saving money at this hotel either. The room rates for a Saturday night stay were way overpriced. Note that if you are using a debit card as a form of payment, they will charge you $100 extra as a deposit to ensure “you do not damage the room”as the hotel clerk quoted. It’s been 6 days since my stay and the charge still appears in my bank account. I have yet to receive my $100 deposit. Do yourself a favor, decide now to drive a little further, or pay a few bucks more to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Wow this hotel left a lot to be desired. Most everything was old, worn and dirty. So many bathroom hairs. The walls had stains I tried not to think about. Bathroom counter didn’t look clean. Smoke detector in the room covered with a plastic bag. Cords and wires everywhere. Super uncomfortable pillows. I’d like to say I got what I paid for but it was way too expensive for what was happening there. The woman at the front desk was kind!

This is a motel where local people are living that is also being marketed as a hotel with rates that are totally unreasonable for what you get. The rooms smell strongly of urine. The property was dirty. The residents that we encountered made the property feel unsafe. The windows in both of our rooms were unlocked (we stayed on the first floor). Residents left trash and clothing items in the hall ways. The sheets were dirty. Overall we felt so unsafe and disgusted that we ultimately left and did not spend either night that we paid for in this room. I am so disappointed as this made us return home (2 hrs away) at 10:00pm at night and totally ruined my daughters birthday.

Toilet was dirty from the previous guest. No one at the front desk to tell.

The non-smoking room smelled musty and smoky upon arrival. The TV had been left on in the room. The bathroom had several areas of peeling paint, and the tissue box in the wall was all rusty. I was so tired that I didn’t bother changing rooms although normally I would have.

Staff was great, did a great job and very friendly. Free breakfast was good. Outside of building was fine, though it felt like someone was always smoking right near the doors and the scent carried. The room had a musty smell and feeling, not sure if it's normal or just because it's been hot and humid and more than the older a/c units can deal with. US-31 is near so there is some noise, but I didn't really notice it during the evening.

Internet was not secure, no password

WiFi was slow and the TV aspect ratio cut off part of the display. The towels had questionable yellow stains in them.

The furniture in the room was very worn and stained. Walls were scratched and corners chipped. The room needed a complete renovation.

The property was nice and met our needs at a reasonable price. Our queen bed was really a full size but we survived. Decent breakfast with pancakes, omelets, cereal and bagels.

Overall the room was fine. Beds comfortable- furniture needs some upgrades and maintenance

Was good value for Holland area. We felt that the beds were much too hard and limited bathroom space

The bedroom are small and the beds aren’t queens they are full.

A friend and I stayed in a room with two queen size beds for two nights. We didn't have our room cleaned while there. When we returned on Monday afternoon, there was some kind of smell but turning on the A/C for awhile helped. The walls are quite thin; we were on the first floor and I could hear people above us who got up rather early both days.

The property was showing it's age and needs a plumber. There was a constant drip in our bathroom and even in the breakfast area water was dripping by where to wash your hands. Just a waste and should be fixed. The walls of the rooms are not sound proof and neither are the windows. We could hear whole conversations from the room next to us and the traffic on the road. The carpets definitely needs to be cleaned and the bathroom tiles were cracked.

Did not recieve deposit return and lady in front desk at check was racist. I was in line to check in and she kicked me to side for someone else that came after me to sttend to there needs.

The room was clean, comfortable, and basic. Good for the price. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

We waited over 35 mins for someone to come to the desk for check in. He claimed he was in a meeting but there were no other employees there and a zoom meeting would have in the empty office.. he was very rude . When we got ready for bed you can see what we found in the pics below.

Overall the stay was good. The bed was a little firm for my liking but other than that the stay was good. Staff was very helpful, kind and curtious.

Good location, nice stay.

Parking lot when snows needs work. Staff at front desk is great. Rooms need updates but are comfortable enough for a person in town working. Location is good to get to things in town.

Not bad Location ,but need a car to get to down town Holland , but the town was very nice.

This was a pretty nice hotel and location was great. Our only issue was our bed was uncomfortable & too firm for us! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!!

This hotel was perfect for a simple overnight stay. It was located near where we needed to be, easy to find, and reasonably priced. The rooms are dated and could use some updates, but we just needed a place to sleep. The breakfast was good and better than a typical continental breakfast as it included hot choices such as pancakes, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. We would stay here again when we are in the area.

Room did not smell musty, as stated in some Google reviews. Room and bedding were clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was decent for being free.

The coffee pot in the room had not been cleaned in a long time. My husband could/would not use it to make his coffee. The breakfast was the same thing every morning and it was not very good. A better variety would help in making the breakfast more appealing.

The beds were clean and comfortable! I did not like the carpet smell, it smelled horrible. Bathrooms needs remodeling! Breakfast was not very good either!

It clearly states no smoking and makes you sign a form for a smoking deposit. Upon arriving the entire first floor smelled like weed. There was mold in the bathroom, some of it had been painted over. I don't think the floors in the bathroom had ever been properly cleaned by looking at the grout. The light switches were in weird places and turned on the wrong lights. The bed was hard as a rock. The blankets if you want to call them that were incredibly thin, including the "comforter." Breakfast was very limited to cold cereal, toast, bagels, instant oatmeal, and a tiny pancake machine. No juice or water, only coffee.I do not know why this place has so many good ratings.The staff never around either. I definitely over paid for our 1 night stay to see family during the busiest weekend up there and I am assuming they raised the rates because of that.
