Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rochester Hills MI

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel is very run down and doesn’t have a working elevator (May 2026). I was not given the room I reserved (Reserved king size, got 2 fulls instead). The person who checked me in made a “joke” that I should get to breakfast early the next day because an ethnic group of people staying would eat all the food. This was all within the first few minutes of being in the hotel. When I walked in my room, it smelled stale and was gross all around. The curtains in the room had stains all over them and pin holes. They were also partially pulled down so it was hard to get the room dark. The walls had stains/marks, one headboard was heavily marked up/scratched. The plugs and USB outlets between the beds didn’t work. The one that did was loose, so the charger fell out a lot. The fridge in the room was loud when it “kicked on” (not constant). In the bathroom, the tub had tons of mildew, the toilet seat was loose, and the shower curtain rod was twisted and looked unstable. I didn't use the shower because it looked so bad. I left the hotel as soon as I got up because I didn’t want to stay any longer than I had to.

Bathroom was clean but had an odd smell. Parking was convenient. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and as a suite it was basically two connected rooms. One had the bed and bath, the other the kitchenette and sofa. Price was great. Only thing to watch for was the hotel is connected to next to a banquet hall and on Friday the band was loud from 8:30 to midnight. Saturday was much better. The 3 previous days there was no music. Our room overlooked the back of that hall so a room on the other side would be recommended……unless you like the band😉

Shower was broken , room was smoked in even though it was non smoking, amenities missing, bed sheets and blankets gave me hives , room was cold. Do not recommend

I was not told upon check in that I had to ask for the room to be cleaned. This was a surprise as I have stayed at many hotels and never had to ask for this.
