Mason was very nice checking us in. He texted us right when we got in our room to ask us how everything was. The pool and hot tub was nice. The jets did not work. The only thing I would say that was it smelled kinda weird in hallways.

Average Hampton Inn property. During check-in I indicated I had an RV. The check-in staff indicated I needed to park the RV in an adjacent property. I parked the RV as requested upon returning from dinner. There was another RV parked on the hotel property where I had requested parking. Why were they not required to park off property also?

The Check in time was all the wAY wrong. THe itinurary didnt have a time on it for check in. I needed the room at 11 pm they would not let me check in or refund i needed the room for that evening. I specifically booked to have a stay with a pool and hot tub only to learn that they both are closed this evening for maintnance. No where did expedia or hampton say this. The ice machine on the fourth floor is out of ice......and there are no laundry facilities or bags for the soiled laundry. the staff is not welcoming or nice if your a local poor choice horrible stay

The pool was down bc of chemi cals for days they said, then our toilet would nt flush the chain was broke so they offered us gloves to fix it ourself bc they did nt have maintenance. Then gave us a new room only 1 of all outlets had power and charged a device.

The carpet looked so dirty, I was afraid to walk barefoot on it. A cabinet door was hanging off. And there was no way to change the temperature in the overly hot room. However, the gentlemen manning the front desk were helpful and nice.

Property was DIRTY and poorly maintained. Spilled water on the bathroom floor and wiped it up with a washcloth - the white washcloth became BLACK because the floor was that dirty! Lots of maintetnace issues! We had to shut off the water to the toilet because it ran all night. The window glass was so cloudy (window seal must be an issue) that you couldn't even see out! The bathroom door drug on the floor, making the door hard to close, from either the floor being uneven or moisture issues. It had been this way for a while because there were scratch marks on the tile floor. Laminate chipped off nightstands and furniture and lamps in poor condition. On top of all that, dogs barking in the halls (didn't know the property allowed pets when we booked it) and loud traffic all night made it a challenge to sleep! Will NOT stay here again and would NOT recommend.

Our room was filthy. My husband had on white socks that turned brown when he walked on the floor. The tub had mold growing on the soap dish. There was no guide for the television and, when my husband asked, the front desk staff could not help us. We chose Hampton b/c we thought it would be a notch above. We were disappointed.

Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast bar offerings. Attractive set up, lots of choices including "hot" breakfast. Shout out to staff who set that up every morning. They thought of everything. Overall, staff very welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in St. Joseph.

Rude front desk. Had to swipe my card 3 times after it said approved. The plug in don’t work. The toilet squeaks the door doesn’t lock unless you pick up the door to lock it. USB chargers are broke and don’t work. Tv doesn’t work no conditioner or body wash toilet ran all night.

We had difficulty getting the shower to work (it was an unusual method to get water from the shower head) and there was no stopper for the tub. We asked the attendant at the front desk for a tub stopper; when he did not respond after an hour my husband went to ask again. He finally came to the room with the tub stopper and was also flummoxed about the shower, claimed there must have been some maintenance on it; we could not be moved to another room as the hotel was full and he would not give us a discount as we had booked through hotels.com rather than directly with the hotel. In the morning housekeeping came and showed us how to work the shower and also left us some treats. Overall housekeeping was FANTASTIC but the front desk was not very helpful. Pool was too cold and hot tub was too hot. Breakfast was good.

Great place. The Lady at the front desk when I checked in, I believe her name was Kelsey, was friendly. Made me feel like I was walking into a welcome home. Room was bigger than I expected. Breakfast was a good buffet. I plan on returning next year when I attend the Bluffwoods Renaissance Festival.

We usually like to choose Hampton Inn for our travels, but this one is just horrible! Inattentive staff, old & dirty carpet felt awful to walk on. Loud street traffic, dirty windows & cracks around air conditioner. Would love to request a refund, but know that won't happen.

Was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast bar offerings. Attractive set up, lots of choices including "hot" breakfast. Shout out to staff who set that up every morning. They thought of everything. Overall, staff very welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in St. Joseph.

We were greeted promptly and were soon in our room. It was very tastefully decorated. The mattress was so comfortable I think I was asleep the minute my head hit the pillow (which were so soft as well!) and slept a solid 7 hours. Breakfast was scrumptious, many options and the vanilla malt waffles were delicious! All staff were so friendly. Checkout easier than check in, which means it took 2 seconds! The location is right off the interstate and was just a hop and skip to Chiefs camp. Highly recommend!

You would think after paying $210 a night that the shower door would shut, that the shower fan would work, that the air conditioner fan would not be noisy. That you would not have to wait for breakfast 10 minutes after they ran out. And it even was not a good breakfast. I travel to St. Joe a lot, but will never stay here again.

The service was supreme, both at check-in and at breakfast. The breakfast was way better than expected with well cooked scrambled eggs and well cooked sausage. plus all the other normal things, but better than normal condition. The hotel isn't the most comfortable and the furniture while clean wasn't in perfect shape. A easy chair to sit in for guests would be welcome - not a ladder back chair like you eat at a dinner table.

Staff at check-in was not welcoming or accommodating. Door key would not open door. Door kept jamming & hard to open. Found bugs in room. Room was outdated. Hotel in a bad area saw police on property. Loud talking coming from other rooms. Checkout staff was rude. Clerk would not give me a receipt bc he said I purchased room thru Expedia / Hotel.com. He made no comment when I told him about problem with door. Would never stay at LaQuinta again!

they need to give a ty guide option on the tv paging through channels one at a time is a real hassle especcially when you want to relax and have to spend an hour trying to find something to watch. wont come back even cheaper hotels give tv guide info

The staff here mainly Kacey and the head house keeper were great. Check in computers were down when we got there and they handled it with a smile and great attitudes especially given how rude people were! They did excellent to get through it! As far as hotel it’s just a very old and worn out hotel. Room was a little musty smelling and everything is old and worn from carpets to furniture. We stayed here for Chiefs training camp so we just needed a place to sleep but for the price there are much nicer hotels in the area. Hopefully the two ladies above get some recognition for their efforts and how well they handled everything.
