Lobby and hallways have a horrible smell to them. Could definitely use some new carpet. Room was ok, the floors and under the bed need to be swept and mopped regularly. The bathtub has soap scum on the side of it from lack of proper cleaning. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Past upgrades to the rooms were poorly done, i.e. poor install on laminate flooring.

I've always thought, if you have no expectations, you can't be disappointed. Upon arrival, no one was present at the desk. The first phone I found just rang the empty desk. After a few minutes, I found a ring doorbell camera on the wall. I pushed it and someone came out to check me in. The hotel is rundown and musty. Very stained carpet. No elevator. Breakfast is supposed to be an option but I never saw it in 3 days. The room itself was decent. However the TV was unviewable due to how dark the screen was. A few hours after check out, I called because I had left something in the room only to be told that it was not in the room. Even though the app stated it was there, they assured me it was not. Oh well...the only thing going for them, they are the only hotel in town.

The property needed to be updated 10 years ago. Surprised Expedia even offered super 8/ Wyndham property in such poor condition. Chaska has a lot to offer and after visiting multiple establishments, this was not up to expectations. Probably will use another search engine for my next trip. Expedia turned a long weekend golf trip into a nightmare.

Property, rooms, entire building needs total remodeling. Carpets filthy. Very limited breakfast. Ice machine not good. Above air conditioner open space to outside. Had to use towel to block it. Entry area dirty and smelled. Only one person on staff and he was checking in and doing cleaning and laundry. He was pleasant. Would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone! .

Run down. The air conditioner was covered in dust and cob webs we didn't dare turn it on. No screen on the window so we couldn't open it. The blankets were worn and stained. The smell in the back hallway to the exit smelled so bad I ran to the exit door gaging.We checked out about 45 minutes after checking in. We didn't feel safe (3 women). The person that checked us in and out was very friendly.

It is a very OLD RUNDOWN and needs MAJOR updating inside and outside, but was clean. There were no paper cups in the room if a person needed a cup. My one night stay was comfortable despite - but I felt like I was in a ghetto part of town because of how rundown it was.

This hotel was in serious need of updating...the carpet was gross, there was a recliner chair in the room that looked like it had been picked up on the side of the road, the bathroom did not look clean and the tub did not drain. I would have to say I will not stay here again when I'm in town on business.

The staff was friendly, and the sheets are clean. The floor felt grimy and there was dust and dirt on much of the rest of the room and bathroom. There were things left in the fridge from the person who had previously stayed in the room. The room smelled musty, which made it harder to breathe.

Without a doubt it was the filthiest place we have EVER STAYED! From the minute you arrived outside! Steps to our room (205) it was gross! Will never book with Hotels.com! Bathroom horrible floor horrible etc

I didn't care for the stay at all. The hotel smelled of marijuana mixed with dirty feet, the room had smears on the wall that resembled feces and the bed had pubic hair in it. The microwave did not have the glass plate and there wasn't a remote for the TV. All in all, it was horrifying and I would not stay there again.

Had to call a personal number from my personal just to check in, got into my room. Pubic hair in the bathtub, mini fridge didn't work. Walls were dirty. TV was fuzzy for the first hour. Poor lighting.

The man at the front desk was extremely nice and toled me about the struggles of keeping good staff. But the rooms where dirty. Shower curtain was moldy the floor had dead bugs and other peoples lint. Fridge still had food in it. The tables hadnt been whiped off and had drink rings on the side tables. The building is old but the bed was comfortable and clean and near the minnesota renaissance festival.

Picture showed waffle maker-danishes and yogurt with coffee and juice was breakfast. Hallways had a terrible odor, floor was coated in dirt, long hair in the bathroom, shower sprayed everywhere, and red stains consistent with possible beg bugs on the white sheets.

The manager, Tony, was friendly and helpful. Honestly, I was not expecting much from this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. It was bright and smelled fresh, with a beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom was average and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows! I was not expecting that, I would love to have that bed and those pillows in my own house!

Room climate terrible. Heat wouldn’t turn off so it turned into an inferno. Had to run the A/C to offset the heat. Both units had to run simultaneously. Room ok. No coffee maker. Coffee in lobby was pretty horrid. No Wifi. Was told it was spotty. Meaning it didn’t work. Breakfast buffet a joke. (See photo) Later told I didn’t even get that because I used a booking service, which of course promoted the free breakfast. Tried to cancel second night but could not at the hotel. They said I had to cancel through the service. The service tried, but surprise! No go. So I had to pay for a second night I didn’t use. Went elsewhere.

Hotel was rundown and not well cared for. Out of 7 different outlets in the room, only one of them functioned okay enough to charge my phone. The bed skirt had an off-white quarter sized stain on it so i'll let your imagination fill in the rest. TV channels were very limited. The heater was very noisy.

Value of room was good. I was disappointed with breakfast amenity. They only provided coffee. TV service was always cutting out. There was no instruction on how to operate channel remote to move from stream to live cable.

Older hotel with paper thin walls. Had two rooms. One was clean and neat albeit dated. The other was cold, less clean. Tony at front desk was great. Could hear guy in next room snoring. Price is very reasonable. Probably wont go back because of overall condition.

The manager, Tony, was friendly and helpful. Honestly, I was not expecting much from this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. It was bright and smelled fresh, with a beautiful view of the lake. The bathroom was average and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and so were the pillows! I was not expecting that, I would love to have that bed and those pillows in my own house!

I walked into the room and the only thing clean was the made bed and bathroom. The carpet had not been vacuumed and had small specs of paper or dirt all over the floor. The remote on the tv had a drop of something sticky. The tv had splatters of something sticky. The tv screen had something sticky and only showed 1 channel. The Scripps Howard network. If you like kid science shows in the morning, news in the afternoon, and real crime shows at night, maybe that’s for you. The worst part. I came to recoup from a sickness and get rest and at 12:00 AM woke to someone violently banging my door against the safety latch 10-15 times to get in. The man at the front desk says “Sorry. I gave someone the key by accident. “The system” game them your room. I checked out a day early and the man lay the desk looked hung over and could barely stand up. Absolutely, DO NOT go there.

The clerk asked if I was who I am, didn’t ask for ID, and just handed me a key when I confirmed my name. The keys are awkward and needed to be inserted a specific way and I was not told that. While trying to use the key unsuccessfully, the same clerk ran up to me and scolded me for not using it right because she “told me how to use it, just do it correctly.” The room was just dirty and outdated, too. It was cheap and near a handful of nice parks, so those are pluses. The air conditioner barely blew cold air but was incredibly loud and varied between a series of loud patterns that kept me up most of the night. The Chaska area is a nice enough that this place is worth considering again, but the hotel itself could use a lot of work.

Had to call a personal number from my personal just to check in, got into my room. Pubic hair in the bathtub, mini fridge didn't work. Walls were dirty. TV was fuzzy for the first hour. Poor lighting.

I've always thought, if you have no expectations, you can't be disappointed. Upon arrival, no one was present at the desk. The first phone I found just rang the empty desk. After a few minutes, I found a ring doorbell camera on the wall. I pushed it and someone came out to check me in. The hotel is rundown and musty. Very stained carpet. No elevator. Breakfast is supposed to be an option but I never saw it in 3 days. The room itself was decent. However the TV was unviewable due to how dark the screen was. A few hours after check out, I called because I had left something in the room only to be told that it was not in the room. Even though the app stated it was there, they assured me it was not. Oh well...the only thing going for them, they are the only hotel in town.

The man at the front desk was extremely nice and toled me about the struggles of keeping good staff. But the rooms where dirty. Shower curtain was moldy the floor had dead bugs and other peoples lint. Fridge still had food in it. The tables hadnt been whiped off and had drink rings on the side tables. The building is old but the bed was comfortable and clean and near the minnesota renaissance festival.

The hotel was cheap and close to where we needed to be. The front desk person was very nice and helpful. The negative was the condition of the bathtub. It was in dire need of calking.

The hotel itself is dumpy. The “free breakfast” consisted of coffee, a box of granola bars, and a box of prepackaged pastries. The room itself was exceedingly clean. The desk staff was very nice and even went above and beyond by lending me a phone charger as I had forgotten mine and my phone was about dead. So if you’re not fussy about the aesthetics of the overall building, this is an ok place to stay as the rooms were very clean.

It was a nice place breakfast was kind of lame the rugs where kind of dirty found a Roch in my bathroom. Bed was nice perfect internet sucked kept legging while watching Samsung tv all and all was good but wont be going back next year unless they fully remodel and everything.

Room climate terrible. Heat wouldn’t turn off so it turned into an inferno. Had to run the A/C to offset the heat. Both units had to run simultaneously. Room ok. No coffee maker. Coffee in lobby was pretty horrid. No Wifi. Was told it was spotty. Meaning it didn’t work. Breakfast buffet a joke. (See photo) Later told I didn’t even get that because I used a booking service, which of course promoted the free breakfast. Tried to cancel second night but could not at the hotel. They said I had to cancel through the service. The service tried, but surprise! No go. So I had to pay for a second night I didn’t use. Went elsewhere.

They had coffee only for early morning, shower dirty with black gunk around area to hang washcloth, no tv instructions, filthy carpet, cobwebs around air conditioner. At $100.00 a night it was a total disappointment.

This was the grossed place I've ever been in. It smelled awful. There was dust everywhere. The AC smelt of mold. There was weird stains on the bed. A big hole in the wall. Genuinely the worst hotel I have ever stepped for in. I booked a different place almost immediately. Do not book this place.

The room was very dirty. Carpet was not vacuumed for what looks like quite sometime, there was what looked like blood on the toilet seat. It looks like this hotel is used to help people get back on their feet, but there were people actively using in the parking lot. The positive is the two staff members that work there were very kind.
