Quality Inn near Northtown Mall & National Sports Center

Pool and hot tub not in service. Empty bottle of vodka n cabinet. Stains on bedding. Missing trim. Smelled heavily in hallway. We did not stay. Refunded our stay but cannot get refund or credit from hotels.com. Will not be using either again.

The pictures on the website were not even close to the actual room. The room wasnt clean. Cheetos swept under the bed, pizza boxes in cabinet, hair in tub. Only one towel. Water damage stains on ceiling, cracked paint on wall. Empty toilet paper roll. Sit on the mattress and you sink down into it. Pillows were 1/2 the size of a normal pillow. The pool was closed by order of Anoka Co.

Pool was shut down by the department of health. Bed sheets did not appear to be too clean.

The room door was bad, had to get the front desk clerk to open it. The room had gnats in it. The front cafeteria was full of gnats and the orange juice from the breakfast bar had gnats floating in it. The bagels had gnats on them, i couldn't even get milk because they didnt have any. The hot tub is no longer there, it sealed over. The management didnt have the key to the pool when we wanted to go swimming. Then the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evaluate in the cold, but no one knows why it went off.

Parking area was fine, didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean,breakfast was good, room has some cosmetic repairs done poorly, but bed was ok and shower worked fine. I was visiting family so I only used the bed & shower. Hotel was nice & quiet while I was there. Perfect for my needs

The hotel was dirty, pool was closed down by the city. All kinds of marks on the walls, curtain stuck to the wall, lots and lots of holes in the walls. The room was like a dungeon. When we asked for our money back to go some place else, he didn't bat an eye, like he was expecting it.

When we check in we are told to wait 1 hr. Because the room is bot yet ready and they still need to clean it up. No elevator and old facility. Not recommended

Location was great for us. Staff very friendly. They appear to be making many changes, new carpet in hallway and room.

It was so bad there was a tv but it did not work. The furniture was sticky, the carpet smelled, the card to get in wasn't working,tgey had a pool but it was closed by the health department! The Quality inn was missing the Quality!!

The experience was very terrible, toilet seats were broken, dirty towels, blood stain on the wall, the wall is peeling off, breakfast was worse. No better options and there’s always marijuana smell in the hall way. Terrible experience and I won’t recommend to anyone, if there was a way to be refunded I would have loved that!

Not great anything. Not clean, smelled like smoke, every single piece of furniture was damaged, the floor was sticky, very limited amenities, the shower head was about a foot below my head, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. If we didn’t have our dogs with us, we would’ve gone somewhere else for the night.

This was the absolute worst motel. We checked in went to our room to find bed bugs, checked out/ cancelled do not stay here!

The hotel was disgusting and dirty. I have a picture of a cockroach in the room, my daughter sat up half the night afraid to go to sleep. The toilet had pee on the seat when we got to the room. Hair on the floor and in the shower. Absolutely disgusting. We talked to management and they didn’t seem to care. I would live for someone to reach out to me.

Stains everywhere from the carpet to the bedding. Even the night stand had filth stuck on it, the shower was gross. I would not stay here again.

Mold in the bathroom. Air conditioner didnt work even after i cleaned out the filter myself. The tub drain was clogged.

Room was filthy! Paint coming off the walls. Big hole on the ceiling in the bathroom. No plates or things for the breakfast. Window broken in room and many other rooms. Pool was shut down by the city!!! It was really the worst hotel or motel i have ever stayed at in all my 53 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----100 for rating!!!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! THE WHOLE PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED BY THE CITY. NOT JUST THE POOL AREA!!!!!!!!

They put us in a room with drawers missing, sagging old mattress and a broken cabinet with no fridge inside. Diffentely not the place we thought it would be.

I’ve stayed at many other quality inn’s and this was by far the most unkempt one I’ve stayed at. It’s all good, the linen and mattresses were comfy but it’s just the entire facility is in rough shape. Stains on the carpets, funky smell to the room if you didn’t leave the window / ac unit on. No room service unless you request it (I was there for 6 nights, got linen and new towels once). There was no microwave, management brought me one but it was janky the hot plate didn’t fit the thing that rotates your food. The doors don’t latch, literally the side doors, hotel room doors — room service after they cleaned left my room open for literally the entire day while I was at work thank God nothing was stolen. Pool room is full of construction supplies, no on-site bottled water for sale via vending machine nor front desk. Holes in both the bathroom door and wall had a 2x2 inch hole from people opening the door into the wall. Good hotel if you’re a smoker, seems like everyone was out smoking. Lax management.

The whole floor was still wet from shampooing it, mattress were junk, sagging, even.

When we got to our room the night safety lock was BROKEN/ also every single night my husband or I had to have our room key redone for it would not open our room. We was not happy

Locked out of room a number of times because lock was extremely temperamental to the point of others assisting us starting to try to break a window to get us back into the room. Desk clerk sits behind a glass partition like armed robbery is a constant threat and doesn't seem to ever come out. Only two bath towels and washrags and one hand towel provided (for two night stay for two). No carpet, telephone, coffee maker, cups, tv channel guide, or local information in room (or apparently anywhere else). No breakfast. Bathroom garbage not emptied from prior resident. Accessible room not really accessible (grab bars merely added to dangerously high tub) and flooring so extremely slippery that cane slipped constantly.

The first room I was given had a non-working fridge, no TV remote and was on the first floor with a shattered window that had been taped up. The very nice manager moved me to another room, but couldn’t shake the unsafe feeling.

Bathroom: no wash cloths available, stopper missing in sink, no tissues and the empty box was obviously broken and in need of repair, floor, baseboards, grout was in atrocious shape. Bedroom: more acceptable than the bathroom, but my queen bed’s frame was clearly bent at the head of the bed, making me wonder if it was going to crash overnight. The tv was the worst I’ve ever had, not because of the set itself, but the guide which was a list of channel numbers BUT NO NAMES! The only way to find a station was to scroll through them all! Very strange that there was no PAPER GUIDE in the room to use as a guide. The threshold between bedroom and bathroom was not secure, and my grandson tripped over it (thankfully, I didn’t because I would have fallen). Front desk at check-in: young man helping me was okay. However, there was a second man sitting there having a personal telephone conversation with someone on speaker. He frequently lay his head on the desk, and whenever gentleman #1 had a question for him, he had to tap him on the shoulder to get his attention. Very, very unprofessional. Also, when asked what area restaurants they would recommend, neither knew of any restaurants close by. Yes, I can google maps for restaurants, but I was stunned when they knew nothing. Lastly, why the need for a parking indicator to hang in the car’s rear view mirror? Is this location so unsafe that we need to be able to identify who is staying here versus who isn’t? That was a first for me.

the rooms were very dated and did not look like the pictures online, the beds were very old and woreout, not confortable.

Nothing. We reserved a room saying pet friendly and no where did it say 2 max. Lobby was disgusting and front desk guy was an ass.

The person that worked at the desk was very rude.

The fact that it was close to where I needed to be was fantastic. However, holes in the walls, broken windows for a view, half used shampoo and conditioner bottles, missing drawer in desk, old and outdated furniture. Not sure how I feel about what's breakfast gonna be in the morning but not holding my breath.

This place was disgusting ! We arrived at 4pm and was told out room wasnt ready yet and there was only one cleaner! The staff was nice enough to text and call us when the room was ready though. Nice staff i would say. This place is real run down. The room was gross! Room was humid, floor was damp, and there was still food on the ground. There was food or trash shoved behind refridgerator. The AC works just fine. Thank goodness for that. But the room smells like cigarettes, and theres residue on the cieling. The bathroom tub is so dirty, im afraid to get ring worm. The towels had a few yellow stains. I only slept at the hotel, didnt relax there. Kept my luggage elevated and off the dirty ground, theres a sticky feeling with the ground. The hotel is right near the highway and near stores, convinient spot. The hotel is pretty quiet as well as the neighborhood. No signs of roaches or bed bugs. Not sure if the bed sheets were cleaned or not cuz there was hair on the covers !!!! Would recommend if you just need a place to sleep for a night but would not recommend if you want comfort and a vacation.

The manager was a nice guy and partially refunded my reservation. This hotel was in disrepair and seemed really unsafe. There was vomit and debris in the parking lot, and questionable activity all around the property. The check-in deck has plexiglass for staff safety. We didn’t get into the room due to a change in schedule, but I didn’t feel safe there. Odd, too, as it’s near a mall and bills itself as a hotel for the National Soorts Centet. Not what I expected at all.

Hotel was centrally located and convenient to restaurants/shopping. That was all. The Hotel is kin complete disrepair and hasn’t been renovated since built( was previously a Comfort Inn). It was very dirty/dusty with many broken items. In my room there were missing light switch covers and mold on the wall around the air conditioner where condensation leaks on to the base of the wall. The connection to the shower head was loose and water sprayed in all directions. In my son’s room the curtains would not close and he had to use a cloths hanger with the clips to clip the the edges of the two curtains to keep them closed. The only clean item in the rooms were the bed sheets. I was so concerned that I check the mattresses for bed bugs(fortunately no sign of them). We were supposed to be there for 3 days but checked out the next morning. My room was booked thru Expedia so the remaining two nights were non refundable. I booked my son’s room directly with the hotel and they did refund me for the 2 remaining nights. The lesson here is to read the reviews BEFORE booking and/or add the extra 1$ charge to make the booking refundable.

We did not stay there. We arrived in the parking lot and realized it was a flop house with permanent people and a permanent camptrailer out back. Could smell pot in the parking lot so we went elsewhere

Where to begin? This place was in a rough area of town. I would have felt unsafe, if it weren’t for my husband. There were junkie cars in the parking lot, to go with some of the people who were obviously living there. No elevator, filthy room, air conditioner didn’t work, uncomfortable beds, broken furniture in the room, opened soap/shampoo/conditioner/ couldn’t bring food to the room because of their pest control notice. NOT worth the price we paid.

Check in was fine but our stay went downhill quickly. Room okay but had to replace microwave which started to burn. Breakfast is a disaster—no fruit, no juice, some milk until it was gone. Coffee machine made poor quality coffee. Same sausage and cooked egg round stuffed with cheese and folded. Some oatmeal and two cold cereals. Bagels but nothing else—no bread, doughnuts, muffins, etc. housekeeping if you ask for it. Highly recommend you find a better hotel.

The breakfast was a joke empty bread. Bagels or muffins no knives to spead butter/jam or to cut waffles juice machine out if order for our whole five day stay. Vending machine missing half tge produce, pop machine out of half product. No milk for cereal. The last day after we posted on Google Maps they finally filled everything but still no knives or salt and pepper.

The breakfast could be better a better selection like fruit cereal had no coffee also need a safe in room and tv guide . Room was good though.woman manager was nice too

I like that the staff are courteous. I did not like that the eggs and sausage were not even heated for the continental breakfast on Tuesday morning, January 28th, 2025. This occurred during the breakfast hours, between 7-9 a.m. Also that the breakfast hours had changed to 7-9 a.m. without any notice up or information from the staff.

The room was great....the staff were amazing... the breakfast left something to be desired (they literally only offered waffles and bread)
