This hotel stay was interesting. Many occupants are actually living in the hotel long-term--some are even employees of the property. I got to know a couple of them a little bit. The hotel itself is in process of being renovated, which is much needed. We were told Radisson recently sold Comfort Inn to Choice Hotels. We used the pool, spa, laundry and fitness center. All were in working order. Over the weekend, the facility was overrun with youth hockey players who were virtually unsupervised by their parents. The kids were running the hallways, knocking on doors well after 10:30 pm. We also had a neighboring room with a small dog left unattended--the dog barked late in the evening, close to midnight. The staff was alerted. Staff members were friendly, breakfast was good.

Your pool is ice cold. My granddaughter (who has swam at many hotels) could not stand the pool. The bathtub needs a slip mat both of us slipped had to put a towel in it to stand. People in the room above us had kids running and jumping when we’re trying to sleep. Bad experience never stay again.

Linda and her staff were very accomadating, professional and courteous. The jacuzzi, pool and gym have great hours and are very clean. The hot tub could be a little hotter though. My room was spotless and comfortable. The thermostat is on the wall, just like it is at your house. The heat/air unit is very quiet. They have hot breakfast every morning. They have 3 floors with elevator and luggage carts.

Property is old and undergoing renovations. Lobby is done and the pool is closed all of May. Rooms are old and furnishings are outdated and broken. We had to move rooms because the AC was blown out and outlets did not work. Staff was friendly though!

There was no hot water, which made me late for my appointment on the first day. I came back to my room and it was obvious that someone came inside the room because things were moved. Something I intentionally left on was turned off but the room was not cleaned. I also lost a pair of earrings the second day. We found spiders and bugs in the bathroom.

This hotel is currently under construction. It took 10-15 minutes for the water to warm up. There are sketchy characters hanging around at night. The carpet is filthy. Sauce on walls, curtains and headboard.

This place was horrible. Flooring was torn up, construction stuff everywhere, numbers taped to doors, doors uncloseable, stained carpets and beds. Safety was an issue as a solo female and staff were a little intrusive into asking you personal details of what you were doing in town. Wanted to turn right back around.

Breakfast is later on the weekends. We were there for soccer tournament and had to leave before 7 and breakfast doesn’t start until 7 on the weekends but if we would have been there on a weekday we could have eaten before because it starts at 6. That doesn’t make sense. The room was poorly lit. The lamps were not great at providing enough light. There are three light switches that do nothing! The one switch by the door turns on the microwave! What? The light above the burners stopped working after the first few hours. That was one of the switches. I found that it turned the light on/off which helped with the poor lighting in the place. Then the next time we came back to the room it didn’t work. Then there were two other switches that did nothing. No overhead lights just lamps. The shower was also tricky. Fine line between very hot and cold. Overall not impressed!

Unfortunately our room was located right by the pool, fitness center and vending machines so there was pretty constant noise. Also the temperature in the room was difficult to control. Air would run and it would be cold, then it would shut off and get really warm. This along with the too firm mattresses made for very little sleep.

First, the staff was fantastic. The room was clean but dated. The bed was old and very difficult to sleep on. The wifi was absolutely terrible, so much so i had to check out a day early because i could not work at the hotel. will most likely never stay here again for work for that reason.

Everything was great, except the heat in our room did not work properly. We returned late at night and by the time we discovered it never heated up past 62°, we didn't have the energy to even attempt to change rooms. Hopefully this issue can get corrected

Hotel is still in the midst of a renovation. While the decor is looking good, they seem to have left the beds for last. Whether that's a choice or a supply chain issue is unknown to me. Still a good stay for the price.

Check in should have been easy however they charged me for the deposit twice. When I questioned it, the front desk clerk had no idea and thought it would just fall off. I’ll be double checking because the staff didn’t seem to understand anything about what was going on.

I had a man from the front desk walk in on me changing. he did not once address himself before entering nor was he part of house keeping since they had been by about 30 minutes before the incident. when i went downstairs to the front desk to confront him there was no one down there but him hiding in the back. so i sat there and he never came out so we left.

The customer service was horrible. I had needed to extend my stay so I went down to the front desk, explained that I needed to extend my stay and if I could please stay in the same room. I came into town for one night to pick up some parts for my car. I booked with Country Inn & Suites as I have in other places and not been disappointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous, the rooms clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that they put up a sign that could be seen from street as it sits back off the street and is easy to miss. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel, next to a decent, casual restaurant. Only gripe is over half the room was in carpeted and the overall aestic cold. Sitting area felt like a hospital waiting room. Uninviting and not relaxing at all.

This hotel is not in the safest part of town and there were issues with unauthorized people trying to enter rooms. The outside doors were not locked, and no key was required to enter even though they were designed to be locked. The security latch on my door and my neighbor's door ere damaged in the past and were not secure. I was able to get a duplicate key twice without showing an ID. The hotel is well work and in need of update. The room was limited to 66 degrees on the thermostat but never cooled down to that point.

The tv didn’t work when I got to my room. And there are never enough outlets in hotel rooms. The breakfast was sad. The fried eggs, not scrambled, were rubbery, the sausage patty was luke-warm, they were out of waffle batter and when I told the lady working she said “I know, give me a second” then disappeared. No tongs to grab muffins or mini donuts so I steered clear of those as I am sure lots of other hands touched them. And I was there at 730am for breakfast! So it’s not like I went at the “end” and they had run out of things… the check-in guy when you first came in was really awkward. He was asking me what brought me to town. As a woman traveling alone I didn’t feel comfortable answering that question. He was also the one that had to come to my room later to “fix” my tv…he looked at my bed when he walked in…it was uncomfortable, like he was noticing if i had anyone else traveling with me based on what I had unpacked in the room.

I stayed one night for 86$. And, it is exactly what I expected. Perfect for a cheap night stay to cut travel time for one day. The restaurant next door was really good as well. The best thing about it, was the provided breakfast. It was amazing! Kudos to the cook that morning, I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are worn down and in need of some upkeep. The bathroom vent was not fully attached to the ceiling and was very dusty. The room had a very strong odor as though it had undergone significant disinfectant or bleaching. One exterior access door has a broken card access so you cannot enter through it (discovered this in pouring rain). Housekeeping uses the same elevators as the guests, and there is only one elevator. Understandably they have a job to do, but they shouldn't be hauling trash through the same elevators as guests. Conveniently located.

This is the first ever review I am writing. It was a terrible room location right across from the pool and ice machine. beds were noisy and breakfast was empty with 45 min left leaving us little sleep and no breakfast. This was after we were moved from the jacuuzi room I ordered because this one had two beds. After playing our game and getting to the room it was the same setup one bed and a pull out couch just like the other room was without the jacuzzi tub I had paid for. Can you say scammed. tired and a 5.40 am wake up we went to bed or at least tried with noise lasting well into the night from the pool area and ice machine. By no way worth what we paid. I ended up leaving the property with the help of a different staff member with my 6 year old son around midnight and did not stay. The experience was very traumatizing. I called the corporate hotel support number and was transferred to management but nobody ever answered and there was no option to leave a message. I do feel like it needs to be reported.

When going to shower, the water would not get hot. I let the water run for 10 minutes and then ended up taking a cold shower. The following day, this was better. Also, there was a two inch lip leading into the bathroom on the floor that was a trip hazard. It should have been either fixed or a bright color to call attention to it. Our room was not cleaned the second day and when we arrived back to the hotel at night, had to call down for towels and wait for them to come so we could shower.
