Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The condo was clean, well-appointed, and the location is unbelievable.The kitchen had everything I needed. The furniture is comfortable. And the little coolers, the beach chairs, the sun umbrella, and snorkel gear was just an enormous added bonus. I love this place and want to come back often!

The location and the views are breathtaking! The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Kitchen had everything we needed and wevcooked at the condo most nights while we watched the sunset. Pool is great! And Hideways was wonderful as well! We love Princeville and Pali Ke Kua ❤️ We plan to be back as soon as w can. Thank you!

The Bali Hai and mountain vistas here are truly unmatched, and the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are fresh upgrades. However, a few drawbacks that I think worth mentioning:- Insect invasion: Old, warped window/door screens with gaps and holes let in swarms of insects. While most were harmless, the relentless mosquitoes disrupted sleep.- Staircase challenges: Steep outdoor stairs (7 steps to the front door), immediately inside, you must climb 7 steep steps up to the upper level or descend 7 equally steep steps to the main living area. Not ideal for mobility concerns.- Check-in hassle: Physical key pickup at the Lihue office requires a short drive—digital locks would simplify this.- Outdated furniture: The couches were noticeably old, worn, and, well, less clean than you’d like them to be. A gem for the views, and if insects, stairs, and stylish furnishings are not your concerns, you’d love this place.

We enjoyed our stay immensely and loved that fact the condo was a ground floor end unit which made it removed from a lot of foot traffic. The views from the lanai were amazing and the unit was well stocked with necessities including snorkeling equipment. The location was convenient for shopping, dining and market. We would definitely book this property again.

My husband and I booked this property because it had an amazing view of Bali Hai, was in a perfect location in Princeville, had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer as well as a beautiful pool and hot tub. LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay -- thank you for making our 20th anniversary celebration perfect!! :)

Stunning views from all rooms! Location is easy to travel around the north shore. Washer/dryer in unit was so convenient. Snorkel gear was not full sets, so just plan accordingly. Can't beat sitting out on the patio!

We like unit 101 because it is the last unit of the property and offers more privacy. The view from the lanai is amazing. The location offers walking paths, restaurants, and grocery stores close by. Loved staying at Cash’s place! My girlfriends and I came here for a get together and loved every second. The views are stunning and the place is clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. We were impressed with the toiletry situation, that there was laundry detergent for the machine, beach equipment, and that the TV had streaming capability. We were were able to park for free and everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. We loved the pool and jacuzzi on property as well as Cash’s prompt communication. We also really appreciated that the house rules and check out instructions were reasonable. My group wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Unit is well equipped with kitchen, sand chairs, towels, etc. the patio door should be replaced. The screens get off track all the time and birds can make their way in. The screens scrape a lot and make a lot of noise for the folks downstairs.

Starting from the beginning, the check in process wasn’t very smooth. We had to download a 3rd party app to get the check in instructions and communication of this was outside of VRBO. Once we arrive at the rental, we were initially very impressed with the place. The views were amazing and it was in a beautiful area, but our perception changed quick when we encountered some issues. After a little bit, we noticed that due to the tropical nature of the place there were a lot of small bugs around the property. There were a bit of gnats and flies throughout the place. After we got settled, we see 2 cockroaches in the living area. We communicated this with management and they sent someone to drop off some traps. However, on the second night, we then again found another cockroach near our toddler’s crib. We understand it’s a tropical place, but we’ve never had this issue in the past when visiting the island. Due to the amount of bugs and dirty property, we decided that this place was not for us and left prematurely. Overall a beautiful area, but would not recommend due to the cleanliness.

Reviewer Comments: Wish I could say as good as all the other units I have stayed in. Unfortunately this one was not as clean and had an offensive odor. It definitely needs updating. New flooring would be a big help and a thorough cleaning of all wicker furniture. Cushions need to be replaced too.

This beautiful condo has the same furniture it did many years ago. The living room furniture is too big and cluttered for comfort, we had to rearrange everything and stack some pieces in the corner. The mattress is old and there are missing and mismatched appliances in the cupboards. Many drawers and cabinets are stuffed full of old broken games and junk collected over the years, including old eyeglass cases and other personal stuff. The owners need to come in here and clean everything out to justify the cost to stay here. That said the view was gorgeous and this property is fantastic .

The view is what you come here for. Absolutely stunning. The lanai is a lovely place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and listening to the surf at night. Condo is comfortable but it can get very hot, especially in bedroom upstairs. The afternoon sun heats the main room and the lack of screens on front door limits the amount of cross-breeze. I'm not an AC person but it was hot enough in October to need it. Good location in Princeville; near Hideaway beach for those up to the challenge of walking down to it; going for coffee or a drink at 1 Hotel down the street is a nice outing. Beach below resort is quite rocky and not very swimmable when we were there. Beach chairs and umbrella are in need of replacing. One of the 3 chairs was completely broken, as was the umbrella. Provisions on hand were meager (as in no or unusable salt, no sugar for morning coffee, etc.). Not expecting much but do expect the bare minimum. A quick trip to Costco is needed. Nice welcome basket on arrival with coffee, granola, etc. which was much appreciated. Vacasa is very good; easy to work with. We had problems with the lock and the person after hours was very patient with us on the phone telling us how to access the condo.

We had a good but not outstanding stay. The view was fantastic and the condo was well equipped--beach chairs & towels, binoculars, coolers, snorkeling gear, well stocked kitchen. Sadly, as it turned out, the lack of AC made it hard to sleep. Our research had suggested that since we were right on the water, it would be comfortable at night, but it didn't really turn out that way. At this price point, the owner should consider adding AC.

The property is very nice. While older it is in great shape and very clean. The view is simply awesome. The only negative is the noise from upstairs. You hear every move of furniture, run of plumbing, even basic conversation. We used the two portable fans to create some white noise.

We have been to the island five times, and this was our second time in Princeville. The first thing I said as we walked in the door and down the steps was, "Oh, my...can you believe that?" The view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen, marked by the mountains on the left and ocean for as far as you can see. As they say, you can't move the property. But the home itself was remarkable as well. We had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to sundries to all the beach equipment we needed, including snorkeling gear. All the kitchen equipment is in great shape, unlike what you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect. The market is just a short drive away and you can walk down to the beach (it's about a 15 minute walk). I highly recommend this property and I hope to be back next year!

We had a good overall stay as the unit was as described, with nice touches of 2 sets of snorkeling equipment; a couple mats, chairs, and foam noodles. Also a few sun hats hanging by the door. Host was also responsive. Views are same as pictures, with a nice side yard to the left whilst looking out the back sliding glass door. Some info missing we would have liked to know is that the unit has slatted glass on the entryway, the bathroom, the bedroom and dining room for ventilation purposes. In addition to this noise as you can imagine, the unit itself isn’t sound proof at all; which in sure isn’t always a problems. But for us,it was as the unit above must be larger than this one bedroom unit and had a family up there that yelled, banged, stomped and honestly sounded like a construction zone nonstop while they were there. Starting before 7am and not ending until after 10 some nights. We complained once (which we have never done before) and they did respond and spoke with the parents who said “their kids got away from them this morning”. It was their whole stay which was the majority of our stay, it’s just the way their family operates and we also understand this isn’t something they could do anything about. The reason to include this info is that depending on your trip type, you may plan on being in the unit more on some trips than others or just want to sleep in and if you get a family like this; there’s not much to be done about that. For us, I would still stay here again.

We stayed at 4 properties over our two week vacation in Hawaii islands and this was our favourite. The view was unbeatable and we could even see whales from the lanai while having our morning coffee. The bathrooms were nicely renovated and the furnishings were solid wood/hawaiian style with very comfortable beds. There is no air conditioning but it wasn’t a problem as you get wonderful ocean breezes coming through the lanai all day. The condo also had ceiling fans and standing fans in all rooms. The only thing that could be improved is the wifi. Signal was very spotty in the upstairs bedroom.

The Bali Hai and mountain vistas here are truly unmatched, and the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are fresh upgrades. However, a few drawbacks that I think worth mentioning:- Insect invasion: Old, warped window/door screens with gaps and holes let in swarms of insects. While most were harmless, the relentless mosquitoes disrupted sleep.- Staircase challenges: Steep outdoor stairs (7 steps to the front door), immediately inside, you must climb 7 steep steps up to the upper level or descend 7 equally steep steps to the main living area. Not ideal for mobility concerns.- Check-in hassle: Physical key pickup at the Lihue office requires a short drive—digital locks would simplify this.- Outdated furniture: The couches were noticeably old, worn, and, well, less clean than you’d like them to be. A gem for the views, and if insects, stairs, and stylish furnishings are not your concerns, you’d love this place.

Starting from the beginning, the check in process wasn’t very smooth. We had to download a 3rd party app to get the check in instructions and communication of this was outside of VRBO. Once we arrive at the rental, we were initially very impressed with the place. The views were amazing and it was in a beautiful area, but our perception changed quick when we encountered some issues. After a little bit, we noticed that due to the tropical nature of the place there were a lot of small bugs around the property. There were a bit of gnats and flies throughout the place. After we got settled, we see 2 cockroaches in the living area. We communicated this with management and they sent someone to drop off some traps. However, on the second night, we then again found another cockroach near our toddler’s crib. We understand it’s a tropical place, but we’ve never had this issue in the past when visiting the island. Due to the amount of bugs and dirty property, we decided that this place was not for us and left prematurely. Overall a beautiful area, but would not recommend due to the cleanliness.

This condo was amazing. Comfortable beds. Beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking. The private beach is just outside your door is a treat! Gorgeous! The condo cools off a lot at night and with the fan we slept great! We arrived late at night so because it was so dark it wasn’t easy finding the condo. The listing needs to include the building number to go along with the condo number for future guests. Also, please note that the light switches for the kitchen/dining area are on the side of the kitchen cabinets and not on the wall like usual light switches and the lamps/light switches are connected. When we arrived it was so dark and had to use flashlights to locate the random light switches in the kitchen and to turn on the switches and the coordinating lamps. A little aggravating when you’ve been flying for 15 hours and can’t find any working lights . The cleaning crew came by twice before our checkout time of 10am (8am and 9:30am) which was a little annoying. Let guests check out before you send your cleaning crew. It made us feel unnecessarily rushed and uncomfortable. Overall great stay and would come again!

The pictures you see on the listing are accurate! This place was amazing! It's a corner first-floor condo looking west and north with a fantastic view and gorgeous sunsets. It was immaculately clean, and the Remax people that run it for the owners were very responsive. It's a short 10-15 minute drive to Hanalei where you can find everything you need. Don't hesitate to book this place! If/when we come back to Kauai, we'll hope to stay here again!

The views from this condo are AMAZING! It is only a couple minute walk to both Hideaway Beach and the One Hotel Beach. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Since it was the end of July, it was nice to have air conditioners in the bedrooms.

The location and the views are breathtaking! The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Kitchen had everything we needed and wevcooked at the condo most nights while we watched the sunset. Pool is great! And Hideways was wonderful as well! We love Princeville and Pali Ke Kua ❤️ We plan to be back as soon as w can. Thank you!

We have been to the island five times, and this was our second time in Princeville. The first thing I said as we walked in the door and down the steps was, "Oh, my...can you believe that?" The view from the balcony is the best I've ever seen, marked by the mountains on the left and ocean for as far as you can see. As they say, you can't move the property. But the home itself was remarkable as well. We had everything we needed, from comfortable beds to sundries to all the beach equipment we needed, including snorkeling gear. All the kitchen equipment is in great shape, unlike what you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Very tastefully decorated. The location is perfect. The market is just a short drive away and you can walk down to the beach (it's about a 15 minute walk). I highly recommend this property and I hope to be back next year!

Couldn’t have picked a better location. Fantastic view. End unit felt private even though it was shared with 8 other units. Even had our own set of resident nenes on our lawn. Unit itself was great. Nicely appointed and stocked with everything we needed and much more.

What a peaceful place. The ocean surf crashing sunsets and a constant breeze made this stay so relaxing. We traveled in Feb and saw numerous whales and dolphins right from the balcony. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Check out the hidden private beach, it was beautiful. A gem for sure!

The view is what you come here for. Absolutely stunning. The lanai is a lovely place for morning coffee, sunset cocktails and listening to the surf at night. Condo is comfortable but it can get very hot, especially in bedroom upstairs. The afternoon sun heats the main room and the lack of screens on front door limits the amount of cross-breeze. I'm not an AC person but it was hot enough in October to need it. Good location in Princeville; near Hideaway beach for those up to the challenge of walking down to it; going for coffee or a drink at 1 Hotel down the street is a nice outing. Beach below resort is quite rocky and not very swimmable when we were there. Beach chairs and umbrella are in need of replacing. One of the 3 chairs was completely broken, as was the umbrella. Provisions on hand were meager (as in no or unusable salt, no sugar for morning coffee, etc.). Not expecting much but do expect the bare minimum. A quick trip to Costco is needed. Nice welcome basket on arrival with coffee, granola, etc. which was much appreciated. Vacasa is very good; easy to work with. We had problems with the lock and the person after hours was very patient with us on the phone telling us how to access the condo.

The property is as advertised and more! The ocean views from this end unit were more beautiful than you can imagine. The condo was clean and the owner provided lot's of thoughtful extras. The location was walking distance to beach and great dining!! We will be back again soon to this fantastic oasis

My husband and I have stayed in #118 three times, and it is perfect. The location can’t be beat! It’s a corner unit with a gorgeous view of the sunset each night. It is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped, and it’s just the right size for 2 people. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, and you are close to several fantastic beaches. Hideaways Beach is within walking distance and we saw a Hawaiian monk seal sunning itself. The pizza at the on-site restaurant is great, and you can stock up on groceries at the Walmart or Costco near Lihue on your way to Princeville. Otherwise there is a close grocery store just minutes away. We can’t wait to return to Kauai. This place is our favorite vacation destination because it is peaceful, serene, quiet, and the natural beauty is unparalleled. Angela from Re/Max Kauai was also a delight to work with. She was very accessible and friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

This condo was so perfect! We had the best view from the lanai, perfect location close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants and grocery stores and beaches. The condo was extremely spacious and had everything you could need. The washer and dryer in unit was a life saver and we absolutely would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! The views were just incredible. No need to find a place to watch the sunset, you have the best view from your balcony and we made sure we were there every night to watch. The condo was spotless and well equipped. The abundance of fans were much appreciated as it does get pretty warm during the day. We were always comfortable and cool at night when it matters though. We will be back and this is where we will stay again!
