DO NOT STAY HERE!! Our sheets were dirty, there's blood on the walls, the light fixtures in the room are falling down, the couch (with the pull out bed) is filthy, the hot tub doesn’t work, the pool is an ice bath and filthy, and there is NO kids pool. We came here with our kids for swimming after the RenFest. Unfortunately, fun swimming wasn't had.

The main reason I chose this location was because of the clean looking room and the pool. My girlfriend wanted to enjoy a pool to relax in. When we checked in no mention of the pools heating system not working. If we would have been told about the pool we would have gone elsewhere. All so the bathroom shower curtain rod screws were halfway out of the wall. If someone was on the toilet and the screws came out of the wall it could have turned into a huge problem. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

The main reason I chose this location was because of the clean looking room and the pool. My girlfriend wanted to enjoy a pool to relax in. When we checked in no mention of the pools heating system not working. If we would have been told about the pool we would have gone elsewhere. All so the bathroom shower curtain rod screws were halfway out of the wall. If someone was on the toilet and the screws came out of the wall it could have turned into a huge problem. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

Good stuff: The entrance for the parking lot is on a cul-de-sac, so you're not on a busy road. Very convenient to Highway 169. Clean place mostly, friendly staff. Bad stuff: Hotel is currently under renovation so it was a little noisy during the day. My room's renovation was not exactly complete (needed some paint). I could not get the bathtub faucet to turn off unless I cranked on it to the point that I thought I might break it. All the carpets could use a good deep cleaning.

Labor Day wknd, going to MN Renaissance Festival, Shakopee, excellent weather. We got hot & sweaty at fest, looked forward to the hot tub, and pool.. broke down jacuzzi and no heat pump for freezing pool, which was salty?? To our room, disappointment with the bathroom exhaust fan, not working, tv remote was crappy. Bed was okay after a long day..walking distance to Applebee's was a +.. Breakfast could have been better. This was a nicer place when it was a Country Inn & Suites.

The outside and lobby are nice. The elevator is fast, but scary. It drops even when my skinny 11 year old gets in it. The halls are dimly lit. The lock on our door did not go into the hole. The tub didnt stop dripping, while the water pressure and temperature was good. Plenty of towels for 3 people. The toiletries are in a squeeze bottle system on the walls. The pool and hot tub had rocks in them, the chemical levels were higher than probably should be as our eyes were burning. We asked for a roll away bed, $30 charge, and it "would be delivered in 30 minutes". 3 hours later my husband had to go get it himself, after second staffer said they didn't have any. King rooms are not set up for it.

The carpet in our room, hallways and throughout the hotel was extremely dirty and stained. The door to our room would not shut on its own, the faucet in our shower did not work well. They did tell us they were laying new carpet in hotel but it should not get that bad. I would not stay again.

The walls in our room were dirty, with smears of what looked like makeup and cheeto dust. I found a hair clip that was not my own in my bed after pulling the sheets back. The bathroom was very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

One of the half walls by the coffee maker you could tell was being repaired but not fixed. We had 2 rooms same room type similar issues. Will not stay again or recommend. Sad as we were for my Anniversary. Also the one set of vending machines that drinks did not work

Stayed for two nights. Once opening the door to the room it smelled stale. The bathroom door had lotion smeared on the bottom of it. There were 2 used tissues under the sink. The hair dryer didn't work at all. The AC unit was dirty AF and had issues cooling the room. The TV top right side warped the shows. The beds were hard and the "clean" sheets had large yellow tinged stains. I was not impressed with the room at all. The pool was nice, that was the only thing decent. My family and I will not be coming back to this hotel when we travel.

I liked the fireplace in the entrance and the elevator to arrive to my room. The bedroom rug was soiled in may places. The bed near the window needs to be replaced. The left side of the bed is lower than the right side. The wall behind the coffee machine and the red chair had coffee stains on it. There were many tiles broken in the bathroom close to the toilet. The shower drained very slowly. The floor behind the bathroom door needed cleaning. There were very few towels in the bathroom. The refrigerator froze our drinks. The control dial was gone.

I rarely leave hotel reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough that I feel I should. The entire property had a strange odor, noticeable both in the common areas and in my room. The carpet was stained and dirty throughout the hallways and inside the room, giving everything a neglected feel. Basic maintenance was also lacking. The toilet in my room wasn’t even secured to the floor and rocked every time it was used. The shower dripped constantly, loud enough that we could hear it the moment we stepped into the room. For $200 a night, that’s unacceptable. Comfort didn’t fare much better. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the overall condition of the room felt run-down rather than relaxing. Breakfast was another letdown. The sausage was so bad it was inedible, and the spread in general felt like an afterthought. All in all, this hotel is in poor shape, overpriced, and not worth the stay. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before without complaining, but this one stood out for all the wrong reasons.

When the hear was turned on the smoke detectors went off. Room was at 60 degrees when we arrived. Had to sleep in sweat shirts and pants. Fridge made horrible noises and had to be unplugged

The door to our room didn't lock. Although the maintenance staff was prompt about fixing it, we were still late to our event. Housekeeping staff should have caught that issue well before check in. The TV didn't work, but we didn't want to call down after midnight. The batteries in the remote were corroded. The mattresses were comfortable, but mine had a weird stain on one corner. Although parts of the room looked remodeled, the microwave looked really old.

Property needs updating. Carpet in room was damaged and dingy. Lightbulb burned out in bathroom vanity light fixture. Nobody was at the desk on checkout or in the breakfast room. My car didn’t start when I left and when I called someone from the front desk phone there was nobody available to offer any assistance of any kind. Fortunately, my husband was able to drive an hour to help me. Probably won’t stay here again.

I’ve stayed at this place countless time. I’m not sure if there is different management but it always smells and looks clean. People behind the desk are quick and friendly. I will continue to stay here, and recommend if your needing a place to stay in Shakopee.

Parking good,ac great, bathroom fan quiet. Staff are very good. The woman at the front desk and kitchen is very good at her job. She is helpful, cordial, seems a great fit for the work!

The staff was very helpful and was willingly to modify our reservation upon arrival to help accommodate a bigger group. Hotel is slightly dated, but clean and quiet. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

I booked a room there because the price was reasonable and because it had a hot tub. When I got there the hot tub was closed for maintenance. I was really upset. The manager gave me a room with a jacuzzi for no extra cost. Definitely made my day. It was really clean, comfortable bed and super nice staff.

The location was great! Close to the hwy to access everything. There was restaurants, gas stations and shopping near by. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was as you would expect, waffles, yogurt, bagels, cereal, coffee and juice. Would definitely stay again.

Good stuff: The entrance for the parking lot is on a cul-de-sac, so you're not on a busy road. Very convenient to Highway 169. Clean place mostly, friendly staff. Bad stuff: Hotel is currently under renovation so it was a little noisy during the day. My room's renovation was not exactly complete (needed some paint). I could not get the bathtub faucet to turn off unless I cranked on it to the point that I thought I might break it. All the carpets could use a good deep cleaning.

Stayed for 1 night, room was clean and decent sized. Room could have been better stocked (1 small plastic cup and 1 coffee cup) for 3 occupants. Breakfast was good and stocked well when we ate. (Waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage links, and cold options as well)

The bathtub does not have a stop in it. Also, the bath faucet drips constantly. Breakfast was very minimal with the milk being sour. The staff did always seem to be keeping the front area and hallway floors moped. That part was impressive.

Room was fairly beat up, older carpeting. Holes in the wall and faucets dripped non stop. Staff was great and overall cleanliess of the hotel was good. Free breakfast buffet was your basic stuff nothing fascinating.

I rarely leave hotel reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough that I feel I should. The entire property had a strange odor, noticeable both in the common areas and in my room. The carpet was stained and dirty throughout the hallways and inside the room, giving everything a neglected feel. Basic maintenance was also lacking. The toilet in my room wasn’t even secured to the floor and rocked every time it was used. The shower dripped constantly, loud enough that we could hear it the moment we stepped into the room. For $200 a night, that’s unacceptable. Comfort didn’t fare much better. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the overall condition of the room felt run-down rather than relaxing. Breakfast was another letdown. The sausage was so bad it was inedible, and the spread in general felt like an afterthought. All in all, this hotel is in poor shape, overpriced, and not worth the stay. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before without complaining, but this one stood out for all the wrong reasons.

We are not pleased with this hotel. They got us with a $55 fee per night for having a dog. Advertising a double queen bed as 5 person, but rollaway bed is extra. Late checkout was $25/hr. The breakfast was gross and they almost gave up our room even thought we arranged a late checkout. We had to argue with the front desk before they would honor the late checkout arranged.

Labor Day wknd, going to MN Renaissance Festival, Shakopee, excellent weather. We got hot & sweaty at fest, looked forward to the hot tub, and pool.. broke down jacuzzi and no heat pump for freezing pool, which was salty?? To our room, disappointment with the bathroom exhaust fan, not working, tv remote was crappy. Bed was okay after a long day..walking distance to Applebee's was a +.. Breakfast could have been better. This was a nicer place when it was a Country Inn & Suites.

The room was ok. Remote for TV didn't work very well. Shower head in the bathroom leaked and sprayed all over. Breakfast sucked! No food out! Nobody tending to the breakfast area. The person who was supposed to be taking care of the area was sitting on the computer. Eggs were rubbery, sausage was burnt, and the waffles didn't cook all the was dry. Bread and bagels were as hard as rocks.

everything was clean and vert comfortable. Front desk courteous, complimentary breakfast fresh, good and plentiful. Our toom smelled very musty, not sure if this is because our room was bext door to the indoor pool, pluus our room had a large jetted tub! otherwise our stay was perfect!

Breakfast was meh. Could have had Bacon or Sausage on the Continental Breakfast. Waffles were flavorless. There was no cream cheese for bagels. The room was a little outdated the paint was peeling off the bathroom door, and Half the outlets didn't work.

I was solo traveling to see a concert at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater. Check-in on Sunday was seamless - I got settled in my room, then spent some time in the hotel's pool & hot tub, which were both very nice. The continental breakfast offered is pretty good, especially the hot food that was offered (biscuits & gravy, breakfast potatoes, bacon, waffles, etc). Check-out was a breeze. I'd definitely return for future trips to the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities.
