Extended Stay America Suites - Minneapolis - Woodbury

Staff was never/rarely available at desk, water was always cool/luke warm, upon arrival my room itself wasn’t clean (shower/bathroom) which I clean myself

Room smelled terrible and was in poor condition. Went to Target to buy air freshener and sprayed often but didn't improve the smell. Price was fair according to the conditions of the hotel. Advertised photos are comparable to McDonalds pictures of their burgers.

The advertised breakfast was very poor. It was granola bars and a few pieces of fruit and instant oatmeal. Plus coffee. While the room seemed clean there were glad type odor eliminators in the bathroom and above the Kitchen area. The smell was unpleasant, sickeningly sweet and I had to put then both in the cupboard to try to lessor the smell. Gave me a headache and left me with the impression they were trying to hide the lack of good cleaning. This was my first stay in this chain and I don't plan on choosing it again.

Photos are really old as the rooms did not look this clean or bright. Hair dryers were removed from the rooms. Breakfast was bare bones continental, some fruit, granola bars and oatmeal packets. We had two rooms and they both had a slight smell to them. Our room had hairs (I assume from the cleaning staff) all over the bathroom. There were stains all over the bathroom walls, the sink was rusty and scratched up and the tub/shower faucets did not shut off. The beds were comfortable and bedding was nice.

Nothing was good about this place.
