Room was very nice. Pool filter was not on, filled with leaves and bugs, slimy floor. Spa did not have a handrail, slipped on way in. Even though signs in elevator said breakfast available on Friday, it was not available until Saturday.

The staff was amazing, the property was excellent. The only complain I have is that the gym equipment needs repair, in our case most of the equipment was not working.

Pool was open 24hrs. Hot tub was broken Exit out of bottom floor was locked. Couldnt open it to walk to pool and there were not any other exits, which is extremely unsafe for guests.

Liked that it was right on the water. We felt that it oversold itself on the internet. We had toilet problems our entire stay. Sauna is not working, outside Tiki bar was never open. Balcony sliding door almost locked us outside.

The AC unit was plugged into an outlet that was bad and had shorted causing it to trip every time you tried to use it. Unplugged AC and noticed outlet was melted due to arching. Showed pictures to staff and was offered a box fan. After further discussion and debating the safety was moved to different room. The hot tub was atrocious with trash around it and was dirty.

Stayed for a quick over night before our vrbo was available. The location is right on the water, beautiful views of the lake. We were there before 'In Season' so the restaurant and bar on site were not open. We had access to the pool, but the pool bar was also closed. Large hot tub and sauna was available. We also had access to a boat ramp. Front staff was very helpful in answering all questions.

Place is under construction and not well staffed. Pool is located down a cliff basically from the hotel with like a thousand steps to manage to get there and back. Not worth the hassle, and the pool was dirty. Pulled debris from the water including old bandaids. Advertised breakfast buffet was non-existent. Bed was horribly uncomfortable.

Apparently we were there before the area really opened up. The pool was open but had a chair and algae on the bottom. The hot tub was NOT inviting. Our room had been poorly cleaned (hair on the bathroom floor, dirty coffee pot) and the furniture beat up (we had to use a suitcase to keep the cabinet closed as the door was falling off). The balcony was dirty and had a small broken table with the screen door off and leaning against the wall. The staff were nice.

The walls were so thin I could clearly hear a noisy baby and the adults talking loudly next to me. The door had gaps all around it & desperately needs soundproof weatherstripping, I could hear all conversations in the hall + doors slamming all night/day. The bathroom and entrance hall had trash on the floor from the previous guests. The bathroom had small short black hairs stuck to the tub, walls, & counter, and smears on the mirror. (obviously not cleaned well). And, the bathroom had refillable bodywash/shampoo in the shower, and no lid on the toilet (completely unsanitary). The bed had very squeaky springs, keeping me from getting restful sleep. One wall had holes in it from something previously mounted on it. The lamps had a mix of soft white + daylight bulbs, which threw off the whole ambiance of the room. The AC unit was so loud it woke me up every time it kicked on. I went to find earplugs & they wanted to charge me $6! I mentioned some of my problems w/ the room, & the guy said 'well, I'll just charge you $2, and didn't address my other concerns. They should have just comped them. I was so exhausted from moving & still had more moving to do, I just wanted a couple nights of good sleep, but I didn't get them here. The 2nd night, after moving stuff all day, I just wanted to kick back & watch a movie, but I couldn't, because the poor internet connection kept making the movie freeze & skip. I will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone.

It was absolutely filthy. The bathroom floors, the bed has mouse poop in it. We literally could not get towels. The pool water was so gross and the side by eterlnity of stairs was filled with ants. do not recommend

It was not so good. Not clean. We were assigned, perhaps, the worst room in the hotel. It was next to stairs & elevator, over the only entrance. Outside the entrance, people can gather. Needless to say, between a lumpy mattress and all night noise... well, you get the idea. :(

The room and furniture was in disrepair. Bathroom door didn’t close. Shower was the best part of the room. The air conditioner rattled and the TV went on and off intermittently. We used to stay here and it was really nice but recently has not been kept up well.

The a/c was broken in the room. Nobody was eager to fix it so we suffered thru the weekend. Shame cuz the bed was super comfy and room was quite a nice size for what we paid.

This property is really ran down. 50 % of the time the WiFi and television didn’t work either. The sliding door had no locking mechanism and left the room unsecure. Stains and paint on the carpets throughout the hallways among many other issues. I will never stay there again!!!

Nicely maintained common areas, rooms not so much. Balconies poorly maintained but are painted nicely. Access door to balcony is a good workout to open and close and does not latch. Takes a bit to ignore and sleep where ceiling joint material has clearly fallen out.

So, I made the mistake of renting one of the last few rooms left when the rest were taken up by college students. Needless to say the drunken Olympics took place outside my room in the hallway until about 3am. That is my fault and should have noticed no adults checking in at the same time as me. What did rub me the wrong way was that the bar put a $100 hold on my debit card when my tab was only $14. That is ridiculous and not necessary for a $14 tab. Though the hotel is aged, I can understand why if their main patrons are college aged. The veiw was decent from my room though.

The rooms were okay, definitely get what you pay for. It was fairly clean, room looked pretty run down. Cold air conditioning, soft bed, comfortable pillows. Bathroom could have been cleaner, hair from previous people still on bathroom floor. I’d stay again when I visit. Front desk lady was nice, seemed clueless when asked questions about things in the area. Prices for snacks at from desk are ridiculous. $4 for a standard snickers bar. We stay in hotels weekly for my husband’s work so I am well versed on front desk snack pricing. Can hear everything going on in the hallway and next door

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. The view from my room was amazing. The staff we're friendly. The only thing I didn't like about my room, was the water pressure for flushing the toilet. All in all I'd definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

There will. Wvwr be a better door man chris. Ralph in bar is a talker and loves visiting wjtb folks from allnover the globe. Jen at front desk is amazi g and tries to accommodate everhthing. I been coming here for 20 years and never had a bad experience. The charaxter of the place is amazing. History is here.

The resort has some aging showing but they do appear to be working on renovations. I had contacted the front desk before my arrival about the tiki bar hours and the restaurant hours. I was gave the tike bar bartenders phone number and advised to call him with my questions. During check in, I witnessed another guest inquiring about some items she had left with the fron desk to be mailed. The guest was told they were gone when that person had a arrived, so "fingers crossed"

So ... I booked mainly because of boat/electric hook ups and the breakfast. (Fishing for 2 days) The front desk lady had no idea where the boat/electric hooks ups were. I asked when breakfast was and she said "yeah, probably not going to be a breakfast because we don't have enough guests" What? That's not what I booked. Anyway, trash in bags in hallways, the room had stains in the floor, holes in walls patched and not painted, the bath tub was slick as snot, the water was 210 degree's hot, and the ceiling looked like the floor above had leaked water/stained. I mean it wasn't good but I was too tired to argue. Sure enough, next morning there was 1 guy walking around (nobody at desk and trash/beer bottles/pizza boxes still in hallway) and verified no breakfast and I couldn't get a receipt. I'm not a picky person - but hotel room honesty it was a room that was dirty in a run down place and I'll never stay there again. I'll sleep in my vehicle first

I was charged twice for our 3 night stay. I am waiting to have this resolved. I believe they were going through renovations, which is understandable, yet some areas were more dirty than others. We checked out early on our check out date, in which I mentioned upon check in. I waited for 15 minutes at the front desk for someone, as a sign was up that they stepped away. I ended up having to leave a note with our keys. With being charged twice, I’m not impressed with that at all.

The door man/ maintenance was amazing. Took really good care of us. When the bartender didn’t believe me about the ants in my drink. He double checked. The hot tub had too much chlorine in it.

Room was very nice. Pool filter was not on, filled with leaves and bugs, slimy floor. Spa did not have a handrail, slipped on way in. Even though signs in elevator said breakfast available on Friday, it was not available until Saturday.

The room was very clean with new carpet. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Staff was friendly. Hotel is away from the street with no road noise and safe area. Good value, would stay again.

Stayed for Mardi gras pub crawl. Very convenient! Staff is great! Only slight detraction was it was during "cannapalooza" and I'm not a fan of the stink. But that was a minor thing when entering our leaving. I wouldn't have wanted to spend any time in the lobby.

Stayed for a quick over night before our vrbo was available. The location is right on the water, beautiful views of the lake. We were there before 'In Season' so the restaurant and bar on site were not open. We had access to the pool, but the pool bar was also closed. Large hot tub and sauna was available. We also had access to a boat ramp. Front staff was very helpful in answering all questions.

Place is under construction and not well staffed. Pool is located down a cliff basically from the hotel with like a thousand steps to manage to get there and back. Not worth the hassle, and the pool was dirty. Pulled debris from the water including old bandaids. Advertised breakfast buffet was non-existent. Bed was horribly uncomfortable.

The property is a bit outdated but it was clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony. The pool and deck area was nice. Nice to have refreshments readily available. Chris the concierge was awesome. Always had a smile and ready to help if needed. On site bar and grill was nice.

The sliding patio door didnt have a handle on the outside and it was hard as hell to open and close. They don't pick up your trash and people leave it piled up in the hallways. The bar had 5 or 6 bottles of liquor and cracks in the wall. The tiki bar wasn't open all week.

This hotel looks like it is going downhill. I liked the location but for Sunday night no food. Coffee bad in the morning so left early for Cozy Cafe suggested by front desk. Ate on Sunday at Dog Days suggested by front desk.

It was clean and the staff were excellent. The buildings themselves need some updating and remodeling. The fitness room was next to the sauna and hot tub which made it very humid in the fitness room. The restroom in the hot tub room Was very difficult to flush and the door did not want to close or open. Overall a good experience with great staff.

The staff was super nice and welcoming! The hotel was ok. It’s dated, and could use some updates. The kids and I went swimming, the pool could use a good cleaning. It is outside so I’m sure that plays a part in it. Views were great, and the price was good.
