Stayed here one night and had a horrible experience. On the picture looks decent but when you are there I didn't feel safe. Never in my life had so many BED BUG BITES!!!!!!!!!!!! It was disgusting room was not clean smelly. Don't stay here

Room looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in ages and no maintenance in just as long. Stained towels. Also couldn't tell whether the pillowcase was stained or still dirty. Just do yourself a favor and don't book a room here.

Arrived to check in around 7pm to a line of 6-7 people also waiting to be checked in, with nobody in the office for over 20 minutes. Upon entering the room, there was a booger stuck to the wall, hairs and dead bugs in the bathroom, the toilet was old/would not flush, & the AC unit did not fully work (kept shutting off and on).

First room there was filthy. There literally was a used q-tip in my bed under the fitted sheet. Then I requested to be moved after finding a few other disturbing things and was moved to an even nastier room that wreaked of smoke. I am originally from St Louis and chose this hotel because of the surrounding area, and I was traveling with my dog. Never again!

Terrible place to stay, was only there for two hours before noticing there were roaches in the room. Should have figured when I saw mattresses outside on the ground in the parking lot. Terrible service as well, they still refuse to give me a refund even though I left after finding roaches and even took a picture to prove it to them.

This property was so disgusting that we forfeited our money and stayed on an air mattress with our friends at another location until we could find something else. There was no tissue in the bathroom, the floor by the nightstand smelled like urine, and the linen on the bed was visibly filthy. When we asked the front desk for more, no one ever showed up! Please do not book here for your sake I hope you take heed.

Bed sheets had bloods stains on them. Sheets had stains. Its like they dont clean then sheets just make the bed. Nobody seem to care even expedia didnt care. No one wanted to give me a refund so i can go somewhere else. I had to go to the office 5xs for a remote that worked. I was stuck with no where to go. Beds are very comfortable, room recently renovated! Only complaint, room smelled of Marijuana, but we brought our own air freshener, little tree Vanillaroma and it cleaned it up in just a few min after hanging it on the a/c fan.

The room was pretty rough looking and could use a fresh paint job. The shower head was amazing however - great water flow and lots of hot water! Also, I was traveling with a pet and appreciated the $0 pet fee, which was great. One frustration I did have was with the television. The channels did not match the guide provided and it was very difficult to find channels I wanted to watch (CBS mainly, for football on Sunday). Overall, and okay stay for the price. Bed was comfy, bedding was clean and comfortable, AC worked fine.

The heat in the room was not controlable. Set the temperature at 70 but room went into the 80's even at the lowest setting. Plus entry door was loose it rattled in the wind.it still locked but the gap sounded like someone trying to get in.

I upgraded to a deluxe room after being told it was bigger and it wasn't. The lock on the door was lose and didnt work great. Sheeta were stained and gross. The dresser was broken and not clean we we arrived. We stayed 5 nights with 4 people and the front desk wouldnt give any extra pillows. When asking for extra towels, only 2 provided, they wouldn't at first. We ran out of toilet paper and other supplies as well after being there 3 days and they were hestiant to give any more to us. After paying $700 for this stay I am not happy at all.

I suppose most people do it as a shower, but having a tub bath is a major thing I want from a hotel. I had to jerry-rig a plastic bag. So if you want to come here and take a tub bath, be sure to bring a plug with you. The windows don't open. Again, to me, when it's pretty weather, having proper ventilation is needed for both comfort and health. I wish hotels.com would give forewarning about those places where the windows don't open. It's a deal-breaker for me. At those times of year when the weather allows for it, I'd want to go only to those places (still in the majority) that do allow for open windows. The room smelled badly enough that I wondered if I had been put in a smoking room.

First room we got was the sheets were stained and it was really gross. We asked for a different room and they gave us one right away. The front desk associates and staff were really kind. The rooms just were not cleaned well. I don’t believe it is the inn’s fault, I think it’s just due to low prices, there was a few people outside doing drugs. You get what you pay for

The staff is extremely un-helpful, and rude. i booked a double room with Expedia, and recived a single bed at the property. The Clerk refused to work with me to switch rooms, despite the fact the parking lot was empty at 11pm. he said I had to contact Expedia. I did, Expedia tried to call, and no one would answer.

If I could give negative "stars", I would. I was traveling with my 2 daughters (20 & 14) and my daughter's cat, moving my older daughter from D.C. to Arizona. I was driving the rental van, so they arrived before me and checked-in. The room my daughters were given did not have keys that would work the door lock - the front desk attendant used a master key to let them into thevroom and said he would see about "fixing that" in the morning (we were only staying one night) When they opened the door to the room, my daughter said that you could see something in the air, like it was foggy, and there was a dehumidifier plugged in and running in the room. After they wrre in the room and closed the door, the room had an overwhelming smell of some kind of chemical, that she explained was like a chlorine smell. After only 5 minutes in the roo., my youngest daughter's eye started to swell shut. They called me and I was still 35 minutes away, so they told me that they would meet me at a Loves Travel Plaza about 15 minutes from the hotel because they did not feel safe waiting in the car at the hotel and they needed to flush out my daughters eyes. I am exceedingly happy that I had my daughter's cat with me, because I do not know how sick the cat would have gotten breathing in whatever chemical was in that room! And they KNOWINGLY put 2 females and an animal (my daughter paid the extra deposit for her cat) in a room in that condition!!!! I had to find a hotel for us to stay in at 2:30AM

The key to our room didn’t work once we returned to the hotel after doing some work. When the key was reset multiple times with no success, the front desk clerk said the batteries in the door were dead and there was nothing he could do. He refused to call anyone and said the next lady to come on shift might have a key to open it. Finally once I said I would contact the police then, in order to gain entry to the room to get my things at least. He then proceeded to “find” a key and opened the door. He was rude, talked to me completely out of line and told me we shouldn’t have left the room if we wanted to ensure we could get back in. Like??

We checked in around 9pm still charged full rate for room $100. Room looked ok when we walked in. So we changed clothes for the night. Went in to use the bathroom and it was disgusting. Tried calling front desk numerous times but no answer. I took the soap and a towel and cleaned the toliet so we could use it. Told the front desk the next morning and was told “oh we’ll let the manager know. Thanks but no thanks. Would not stay again.

I did not stay. And the refund process is a challenge as they do not cooperate but work wound the issue at hand. They should not sell rooms if they’re not completely renovated, freshly painted and not fully furnished with amenities. The individuals staying below were having their room gutted and cleaned as it unsanitary. They double charged my incidental fee which also became a nuisance.

I was stranded in St Louis and needed a place to stay for one night until I could get back home the next day. I prepaid online but didn't have my proper credentials with me, but instead of turning me away, the staff worked with me to get verification so I wasn't stuck without a place to stay. They were super friendly and helpful. The building could use some upgrades aesthetically, but overall, for the price, they are good. The rooms just have the basics but were clean. They were super friendly and helpful. The building could use some upgrades aesthetically, but overall, for the price, they are good. The rooms just have the basics but were clean. What impressed me was the friendliness of the staff and willingness to work with me in a bind going above and beyond. They could have just refused my stay.

I upgraded to a deluxe room after being told it was bigger and it wasn't. The lock on the door was lose and didnt work great. Sheeta were stained and gross. The dresser was broken and not clean we we arrived. We stayed 5 nights with 4 people and the front desk wouldnt give any extra pillows. When asking for extra towels, only 2 provided, they wouldn't at first. We ran out of toilet paper and other supplies as well after being there 3 days and they were hestiant to give any more to us. After paying $700 for this stay I am not happy at all.

This hotel was just barely okay. I understand that people have to live in hotels, but there were people begging me for cigarettes everyday, and housekeeping would knock and not wait for me to come to the door. Housekeeping walked in on me while I was using the toilet twice, and aside from begging for cigarettes, one person here followed me around and intimidated me for not giving them a cigarette while I was smoking a cigarette. I did not feel safe. Hotel guests with dogs do not clean up after their dogs so there is dog poop all over the place.

Stay was great! All the staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and stocked, nice and quiet, no signs of any bugs, and linens were fresh. We never felt unsafe and will definitely be back! Easy walking distance to multiple gas stations also!

Property states it’s smoke free but once stepping out of my vehicle it smelled like weed terribly at both buildings. Definitely felt unsafe. There was mattress leaning against the building trash everywhere. Mattress laying on the floor next to the dumpsters. I went to the front desk to state I was not staying because of reasons stated and he said he could not take a note of it for me to call the manager in the morning. I even suggested to the person behind me exactly why I wasn’t staying.

Just stayed here for a night while visiting family. The room was clean for the most part but there was old splatter in places like the bathroom door. Toilet, sink and shower were clean tho. The room I stayed in needs a serious renovation however. Definitely an old room. The bed was old squeaky and somewhat uncomfortable. The location is good if you need to stay in Westport. Theres a Quick Trip right next door for anything you might need late nights.

The elevator didn't work at all from the first floor. The smoke detector didn't have a battery in it and chirped. The maintenance person didn't show up for more than 45 minutes. I had to go down to the office to check on it. The door safety lock was broken so you couldn't secure yourself in the room. The TV remote didn't work to even turn the TV on. When checking out, they didn't ask how things were or anything, just took the key, turnednand walked away and said thanks, that's all. On the good side-the room was very clean and the beds comfortable, but for the price and hassle, I won't be recommending or staying again.

The property says it’s non smoking and I requested a non smoking room but everyone there smokes, and my room had clearly been smoked inside of. Ceiling paint and woodwork is chopping and dirty. The bolt on the top lock was broken.
