I liked the clean and comfortable room. however, i selected this hotel because it advertised as having a bar and restaurant. only to find out it wasn’t a full bar and not a full restaurant. staff wasn’t present when i walked in to check in, wasn’t present when we were ready to eat, so we had to walk to get food and only had wine and beer.

The hotel on the whole was very nice and the staff were great. Our room was nice, no complaints there. We purchased two glasses of wine from the bar and felt as if we had paid a small fortune. We didn’t even bother to check out the hotel breakfast the next morning since we anticipated it would be unreasonably priced. The area where the hotel is located has lots of eating options so it was easy to find a substitute. One of the main reasons we chose the hotel was for the hot tub, which to our dismay was out of service due to maintenance issues. This spoiled our stay. There are literally at least a dozen hotels of similar quality in the exact same area, so I wouldn’t hesitate to try a different one the next time I stay in Memphis.

For my first time staying at the Courtyard, I was very impressed. The amenities and dining options were great. I like the layout of the room. My only suggestion would be to have smart TVs as I like to bring my Chromecast with me on trips out of town.

My son had a baseball tournament out in Southhaven, and the hotel was 10mins from the fields and close to shopping and restaurants. We left a day early and they changed our checkout date so we didn’t have to pay that extra day that we booked. Friendly staff, quiet, and clean. Will book again!!!! One thing that I wish they had was complimentary breakfast (I guess marriotts don’t do that,) but other than that! Thumbs up!!!

I liked the clean and comfortable room. however, i selected this hotel because it advertised as having a bar and restaurant. only to find out it wasn’t a full bar and not a full restaurant. staff wasn’t present when i walked in to check in, wasn’t present when we were ready to eat, so we had to walk to get food and only had wine and beer.

Breakfast was not included and very expensive. Front desk was very friendly. We had huge holes in blankets and comforter. Candy wrappers on floor behind bedside table. No soap dish. Only one trash can and it was in bathroom.

The hotel on the whole was very nice and the staff were great. Our room was nice, no complaints there. We purchased two glasses of wine from the bar and felt as if we had paid a small fortune. We didn’t even bother to check out the hotel breakfast the next morning since we anticipated it would be unreasonably priced. The area where the hotel is located has lots of eating options so it was easy to find a substitute. One of the main reasons we chose the hotel was for the hot tub, which to our dismay was out of service due to maintenance issues. This spoiled our stay. There are literally at least a dozen hotels of similar quality in the exact same area, so I wouldn’t hesitate to try a different one the next time I stay in Memphis.

They never said you had to stay 3 nights to get your room cleaned and when I requested the room to be cleaned, everyone had already left for the day. Very nice staff at the breakfast area, she made the best coffee for us and was very sweet. Forgot to get her name, but she has been there for over 20 years!

My son had a baseball tournament out in Southhaven, and the hotel was 10mins from the fields and close to shopping and restaurants. We left a day early and they changed our checkout date so we didn’t have to pay that extra day that we booked. Friendly staff, quiet, and clean. Will book again!!!! One thing that I wish they had was complimentary breakfast (I guess marriotts don’t do that,) but other than that! Thumbs up!!!

The property looks good (on the outside and the lobby) but I can only speak on my experience from Room 327. There is a smell of musk, as if there was previous water damage. The bathroom resembles Motel 6 but the price reflects Marriott. In the past 8 years of staying at Marriott properties this was by far the WORST one yet. There were roach droppings in the corners of the bathroom walls. We killed 6 baby roaches and one goldish cockroach that was crawling on the bathroom counter. There were also baby roaches underneath the microwave. The couch is torn in the front but you don’t see it until you move the ottoman. The indoor pool was nice but the water was nasty, had a top layer of oil, and too much chlorine. You could smell chlorine before you even arrived to the pool area. It’s like they know it’s not clean so they add extra chlorine but you can see it’s filthy. When we spoke with the front desk regarding the roaches she was apologetic, friendly, and advised there weren’t anymore available rooms. We had already prepaid and I didn’t get the insurance so we were locked in for two nights. We were visiting family and decided to stay here due to the location. Never again!!!!
