The amenities are excellent but the TV is out dated and our washroom has no exhaust fan. The lake kayaking and canoeing, swimming pools and hot tub are great! And a very relaxing and quite place. One of the staff is not friendly.

Location was great. Check in staff were not particularly friendly. Check out staff were wonderful. Room was clean. Hotel upgrades visible however still dated. Breakfast included would be a great addition. $17 buffet is expensive. Did not eat there.

Though tht staff was helpful, I was overall very disappointed in this facility - especially for the price we paid for our room. The whole facility needs an upgrade. The door to our room did not close properly and the paint was coming off of the door because of how hard one needs to bang the door to close it. The room and bathroom needed a major upgrade. The biggest concern was safety issues with the lighting outside from the beach to the building. There are a number stairs and we walked from the beach to the hotel when it was dark. There was no lighting on most of the stairs and on the stairs were there was lighting, many of the lights had fallen off. This is a very basic maintance issue that should be addressed and overseen an a regualr basis! There were no railings for many of the stairs which is against code. This is a saftey issue for children, seniors and anyone with compromised mobility. You can do bettere than this for your guests, Hidden Valley Resort!

The resort was incredibly located for the wedding I was attending, and I imagine is perfect for those who love to ski, with the chairlifts, basically next to the parking lot in winter! The staff was lovely, shout out to Lana. My only complaints, and it's not really the fault of the hotel were the 10+ people who let their doors slam, waking me up several times, as well as those who allowed their kids to run in the hallways screaming at 7:30am. Also, the iron in the room leaked water all over my clothes, so that was a tad annoying, but I made it work in the end. The beds were clean, floors felt a bit sticky, the bathroom was clean, and the soaps/lotions provided were nice.
