Quality Inn Homestead Park

BEWARE! The listing claims they have an "airport shuttle" but get this, it runs from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. Anyone who has ever flown out of Billings knows that most flights leave between 5:45 AM to 7 AM. And most incoming flights land between 10 PM and 11:50 PM. Having an airport shuttle only runs between 8 to 4 should be front and center in their description of this property because that's a very important thing to know when your flight leaves a 6:15 in the morning

The hot tub was bigger than most we see at hotels, and was great! The lady at the front desk was very friendly and the made-to-order breakfast was awesome!

We recently traveled from Eugene OR to Minneapolis and stopped at 5 motels total in out 2 week trip. By far the Quality Inn in Billings was the best of them all. Clean, quiet and easy to access off the interstate capped off our impressions. The pool, sauna and hot tub were open until 10:30 PM which was great and very popular among the guests. Just accross the road a Fudruckers restaraunt was an easy walk and a relief from the usual interstate adjacent restaurants usually adjacent to the motels-- in Eugene, Coeur d'Alane, Jamestown ND and Minneapolis. The icing on the cake was made to order breakfast included with the room. A most excellent motel experience.

Airport is near by, but shuttle was only available at 8 AM and my flight was at 6:30 so they need to let customers know this.

First floor room. Pool, jacuzzi, sauna and breakfast. All good.

No elevator, we were on 2nd floor. The hallways were so long to get to my room. Property is run down, not very well unkept

No elevator. This should be disclosed in motel details. Very poor. Also main doors open outward which means you have to set down baggage to open door. Very dated. Beds were excellent.

It’s an older but updated hotel. The included breakfast was short order for hot items and cold items and fruit cereal etc were self service. The property does not have an elevator. So if you can’t do stairs try to book an accessible or first floor room.

At first glance, the room looked spacious and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the appearance. The walls are very thin — I could hear my neighbour snoring at night. The bathroom fan was extremely loud and sounded like it was struggling to work. The air conditioning unit was dirty, and when I tried to use it (because I was cold), it smelled like something was burning. When running, it also caused the floor to shake.

Hotel needs updating of the bathrooms, hallway carpet & back end parking lot door was very hard to open going out. Bathroom had black mold around all the handicap bars in the shower.

Everyone was SO friendly and nice!!! The breakfast was delicious; it was truly the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! When we first checked in, our room smelled poorly, but they switched us to a new room without hesitation! We were so thankful. The new room was perfectly clean and comfortable. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Room was clean as a whistle and staff was very nice and had great customer service!

Room was dirty hair and stains...

The room smelled like mildew. Like a dirty mop or dirty rag. Like if you leave a we cloth crumpled up and then picke it up later it stinks... and our sweaters smelled like it the next day. Was so gross. The carpet was still damp. So socks were damp. The air was musty. From the wet carpet. Was uncomfortable. I told the front desk 2 times.

The room was dirty. The gold out couch has crumbs in bed with no sheets on need. The extra pillow has hair on them. Bathroom floor had hair on the floor.

Upon entering my room, the floor was visibly dirty with crumbs and stains. When I went to use the toilet moments later, it was also obviously dirty with brown waste caked onto the seat! When I went back to the front desk to report these issues (having not been able to relieve myself and being tethered to my dog) they initially offered me another room but when it turned out that the drain in that room was leaking they told me they would clean the original room for me. It was not cleaned. It was just as dirty as before. I ignored the dirty floor and cleaned the toilet myself! Other problems: the WiFi was next to useless; the door had a HUGE crack underneath that let in light and all sorts of noise. Kids running and jumping upstairs and slamming the door in the room next door at 11pm was not addressed by the hotel staff. The A/C unit was filthy and the lights on the small appliances in the room were bright and obnoxious. There was no hook for a hand towel anywhere, let alone by the sink. The key card would not let me back into the building in the morning for some reason. When I went to check out in the AM, I would have reported all of these additional issues to the motel lead on site but the person at the front wasn't even able to print me a receipt so I didn't feel confident that my message would be received. The only good parts of my stay: hot breakfast to order and a comfy (and seemingly clean) bed.

The room was so dirty. Our socks turned black from the floor, the room smelled like pee, and the couch mattress was absolutely disgusting.

This is usually my go to hotel when passing through Billings. Good location, nice pool and good breakfast. This time I was disappointed though that our room was not fully cleaned. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. No TP, hair in the shower, soap was used. :(

The property itself was fine. Huge place. Lobby was large, decor was out dated, but seemed clean enough, kinda dark. Staff was fine, homecooked hot breakfast was good. Hotel room was a outdated suite, with soiled furniture ( arm chair especially). The whole suite was carpeted. It was rather dark too Pet friendly, which was why I mainly picked it. They only charged extra 15.00 for pet. Better than other states, 1 was 75.00 extra, no thanks! It also didnt have a night stand on both sides of bed, very inconvenient when you have apparatus for night and cant switch sides of bed..same issue in the livingroom only 1 table end of sofa. Also couldn't get TV to get signal in living room , following their directions. The list of channels was visibility dirty and the remote! The rest looked clean, but it just felt on the dirty side over all. didnt dare walk around in my bare feet. The price was also another reason for my choice, Billings lodging was higher for some reason than most other states we went thru, even using the expedia app. I would give 3 out of 5 stars if thats a rating scale. Not the worst, but not the best either.

Good location. Friendly staff. Quiet. Could have better lighting in the rooms, especially in the bathroom. Water pressure not ideal.

Everything was good with this hotel except for the Wi-fi. 3 of us kept trying to get on the Wi-fi but it was extremely slow. They need to update their server. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing.

Booked and paid (premium price) for two nights at this property, but checked out after the first night as we could not endure another night there. The hotel is a dog friendly property, so our room was on the second floor, as we told this floor was not used for pets, so we thought was OK. We then discovered there is no elevator we had to heave our luggage up two flights of stairs to our room. What we also didn't know was that our room faced a railway line that was used by coal trains, that came every hour on the hour from 11.30pm, sounding their horns and clunking along for 5 - 10mins at a time. As a consequence we had very little sleep, which was annoying as we had driven for more than 6 hours the day before and we were looking forward to a goods night sleep. This constant disturbance was added to by the guests with barking dogs, taking them out to the grassy area between the hotel and railway track throughout the night to let them do their business. The breakfast/dining area was basic, with plastic trestle tables to eat at. When checking out the staff member cheerfully told me they often have quests who request to stay in our room so they can hear the trains coming through at night and that we could have been moved through the night if we were not happy. We would have liked to have been given the option when checking in. Avoid this hotel, as you will be disappointed.

This property was the quietest, best hotel sleep experience we’ve ever had. The rooms have a separate sitting area from the bedroom, and the bedroom is at the back, so furthest from the hotel hallway. I didn’t hear anything outside all night and slept like a baby. Breakfast was amazing too. They have the full self- service options, but also short order cooks, so you can select exactly what you want for hot breakfast, and it’s custom made fresh! I’ll always stay here when I’m in town!!

Very nice place. Room was very large.

The room was clean, all new flooring which was nice. Beds were comfy. The bathroom door was so warped it did not close properly and the tub faucet was coming away from the wall. That being said, the overall experience was good. The made to order breakfast was really good and the staff very friendly. It was also nice that Outback is right across the street so we could walk to it.

Great breakfast. Quiet room with many plugs and towels. Basic room and bathroom layout. Nothing fancy but good value.

I would have ta say for the most part it was a nice stay. But the night we had checked in we had to wait for over an hour to get checked in because the night sift person quit and didnt tell anyone. But after over an hour wait someone finaly came after other people had to call and get ahold of the general manager to get ahold of a worker.

It was an okay stay. Our kids enjoyed the pool of course, would make sure Daniel gets a raise as he helped everyone make sure they had towels, and also stocked the coffees for us. He was attentive.

Check-in gal was fabulous. She was helpful, informative, and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the two cooks were fantastic. So many friendly and hardworking staff. Kudos to the hiring manager for recruiting such a great team. If we are in Billings again, this is definitely where we will stay.

Loved the room! It was a living room and bedroom with a sliding door between the rooms, both rooms had a tv. Very cozy and relaxing. We got to order a breakfast cooked for us and not just the basic breakfast bar.

Service was great from the time we walked in until the time we left in the morning.

Front desk gal was super friendly. I asked for an extra pillow and more coffee and she got it right away and said if there was anything else I needed let her know . Room was large, clean and comfy

Seriously lacking in customer service. Particularly Trinity at the front desk. This is the first time Expedia let me down. It was super old, our room wasn’t ready at check in, Trinity was super rude and could care less, half the rooms were “updated” if you even wanted to call them that and the others weren’t and still had old dirty carpet. Rooms looked straight from the 70s, Expedia ranked this like 8/10 but after my experience I’d say maybe 3/10. Don’t be duped by Expedia on this one because I was ! The made to order breakfast was decent and better than a typical continental.

Housekeeping stole our clothes. We called two hours after checkout when we realized we had forgotten a few items. We never received a call back. Luckily we knew we would be back in town, so we stopped by. Turns out no one ever checked our room to see if anything was left and our clothes were "never found".

Situated in an area that accesses many of the places we frequent. The made to order breakfast was wonderful. Clean rooms. Good bed and pillows. We will stay there again.

Close to interstate, quiet area, lots of food options nearby

Good option for overnight in billings. Walkable to restaurants. Pool and hot tub were good. Cooked to order breakfast,comfortable room and pleasant staff.

Close to shopping and dining options. Quiet despite being a larger hotel. Overall, a nice place to stay while traveling through Billings area.

Clean and good location

We loved the breakfast selection in the morning. The room was clean and staff were professional. There were trains running nearby during the night, which were noisy.

The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was the best as eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes or toast came fresh from the grill cooked by a very nice lady. There were other items available for breakfast also.

We booked this just for a place to lay our heads for the night. We knew it would not be fancy but, we thought at least there is a hot breakfast included. It was very disappointing.

apparently no rooms were ready to check in before 3pm. Hard to believe. Breakfast required a voucher from the check in counter first and was cook to order, but restricted to only two items. No elevator to upper floor rooms.

Our room was clean and comfortable beds. There was mold in the bathroom and we did do not have enough washcloths. There was a funky smell in the room. Sheets were yellow. We paid for a room for four people and we only got two adult breakfast passes. My 14 and 17-year-old kids had to eat cold breakfast food instead of hot food. Should advertise free hot breakfast for adults only.
