No gym as stated, no water pressure. Doors don't work right. No ice, no vending , inroom refigrator didnt work

Absolutely the worst. Hotels.com rates this property with 2.5 stars. But this hotel has nothing. Not even a coffee maker on the room. Carpets are dirty. Building is old and falling apart. Room rate is very high. No pool and no fitness center.

the room was fine. the tv was snowy. i chose the hotel because of the pool/hot tub, which were closed in AUGUST. they clearly hadn't been operational in ages. the staff were living in the rooms next to guests. this hotel is barely scraping by.

The photos of the property indicated it was in better shape than what we really experienced. The hole in the bathroom ceiling directly over the toilet that periodically dropped water was particularly unpleasant. There was supposedly a workout room but it was “under renovation” during the visit.

Parking was really good. Right in front of my room. Temperature in the room was perfect. The gentleman who checked me in was very warm and friendly. Answered all the questions I had.

The food options were terrible, bed was way to high & had wheels on it which made the bed slide every time we tried to get on them, No Wi-Fi , no hot water, the bath tub & sink were cracked & chipped , The refrigerator was not plugged in, & upon moving it out so that I could plug it in, the entire back of the refrigerator & floor was absolutely filthy. I stayed one day & was charged 2X on one credit card & once on another card. It took 2 Days to be refunded for one charge & I still haven’t been refunded for the other charge. Also the swimming pool is outside & was closed down. When I stayed there 2 months ago, aside from the swimming pool, dirty room, & not so good breakfast . The prices were good & the stay was fine.

Paint on walls coming off, missing towel hooks (ripped off), hair on unmopped bathroom floor, rip and delamination in furniture, no smoke detector present, ice bucket dirty, pool closed for winter in June, spa, emptied, and broken, large chunks of concrete missing in parking lot, curb paint, chipped, building is worn and seems to be purposefully going to waste.

The property is edgy, not maintained. Lots of broken things, the door lock to the ice machine is broken - generally not kept up.

I should have taken pictures. Breakfast is premade burritos from a big box store that you heat up with a microwave. Place is run down, there was an upgrade attempt, but it looks like the cheapest bid was selected. The pool was not functional and my kids asked to never stay here again.

The red lion was a nice motel the pool was out of service the place is run down. A lot of homelessness around. But close to a nice Safeway and two breweries

There was dried up food and stains on the shelf. Microwave was filthy, floor was even worse. Place was disgusting. I got a refund and went elsewhere. The clerk wasn't surprised to see me go that fast.

We had a running toilet all night. There was something gross on the sheets which apparently were not changed. the bathroom sink was clogged and a funny smell to the place. Not what we expected from a Red Lion Inn.

Looks like they never vaccumed the floors in room for along time. Kinda scroungy inside. Didnt stand up to what red lion used to be

We were traveling for a wedding and decided to stop for the day. We had stayed at other Red lions with no issues. This place was gross. Floors were dirty that be we kept our shoes on. Dirty hand prints on the doors and other questionable stuff. Stain on the sheets. Next morning getting ready my grandson and I saw a bug crawling out of the bathtub drain. I would not recommend this place unless it gets a good cleaning and a few updates.

We got here and checked for bedbugs although we didn’t find any, but we did find the dirtiest floor we had ever seen. The baseboards are filthy. Honestly the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were just stopping in during a road trip, but don’t plan on ever staying again. Don’t waste your money. A motel 6 would have been better.

The first room I was checked into was absolutely filthy. I called the front desk and they came up and transfered me to a new room that room was not much better. My daughter had the same experience, she was given a new room and her new room was not much better. The rooms had vinyl flooring which had not been mopped obviously in awhile. Our socks would turn completely black just by walking across the floor. Floor was sticky in places, the second room did not have a remote for the tv and we did not have hot water in the shower. We chose this motel because it had a better rate than others and in this economy we were trying to save a little money... I guess you get what you pay for. On our last night there, there was a pretty rough crowd partying and fighting outside into the early hours of morning. Someone was actually vomiting over the railing down into the parking lot... luckily not on our cars. Every nook and cranny around the property is filthy. There is zero dining and we did not even trust the free breakfast after we saw the rooms. Would not recommend and will never stay there again.

I left early because the room was disgusting. Dead bugs, some sort of brown residue all over the sink, no surfaces looked to be wiped down. It was horrible. Got a new hotel asap.

If there had been other hotel availability in Missoula that night, I would have eaten the $200 and moved hotels. When I told the front desk that the room was really dirty, his response was, "ok". That's it. Nothing else. Just...OK. Obviously I'm not the first person to complain. Will NEVER stay here again.

The entire property is nasty and unsafe. The shower was covered in pink and black slime. The lobby smelled like urine, the front desk attendant was creepy, and the bed was threadbare. I felt like I could get robbed at any point. Totally unsafe for a single mom traveling alone. I would not eat the breakfast there based on the condition of my room either.

The property was dated and needed some upkeep. The room floor was a type of wood floor and needed to be swept, you could see the dirt on the floor. (don't go bare foot). The A/C did not work properly. the temp was set at 68 degrees and felt like an oven. (try to sleep in that). The side walk cracks were filled with pet-hair. We had several other guests that stayed and complained of the showers, mold and just not worth the stay. We will not stay at this property again. (even if it were free). I would request a refund, but I don't think that I would get one.

Excellent customer service! Hotel is working on modernizing. Updated room colors and LVF. Bathroom was a charming late 70s, with LVF updated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very quiet hotel in a quiet part of town

The door did not hsve privacy locks. Yhe TV didn’t work

Horrible TV options and no ground floor rooms.

No air conditioning no internet that could support. Like a crack motel we got lock out of our room on the 2nd night. Not like the Red Lion hotels I am use too.

Beds were comfortable, property and rooms were a bit run down

The pictures paint a glorified version of what this property is truly. The room was musty and loud. The furniture was functional, but tired. Remodel appears to be underway, but looks like it has been in process for a long time.

Our room was a non smoking room in name only. Carpet was severely stained. Exterior door needed to be repaired.Bathroom needed remodel. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel is run down and needs an update. Floors were dirty and the AC unit sounded like a jet engine roaring in our ears.

I could see the room was newly renovated and room was spacious. However, the floor was very dirty because my husband walked with his socks on and the bottom of the socks were all black. Looked like the floor had never been cleaned since installation.

Doesn’t look like what is in the website. Rooms are musty. But the beds are very comfortable

Check in was a cluster. My guys was new and didn’t know how to work the system. They guy training him was an ass. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Hotel is very run down. Beams in the roof are rotted. Springs in the Chair in the room were gone and you sank in the hole. Unrepaired holes in the walls. No towels in the room and when we asked for some at the front desk we were told they were out. Had to use hand towels to dry off after a shower. Front desk staff were so tied to their phones that they barely acknowledged us in the morning.

They did not have our room ready in time, we had to wait 2 hours. The man who checked us in was very rude, but the rest of the staff that we interacted with were very nice. Our room was not clean when we finally got into it.

Missoula has become a destination stop for me for work and recreation, and a primary reason is this hotel and its friendly welcoming staff. Rooms are very nice and clean plus a great breakfast. Your workers are awesome and make coming here enjoyable!

Did not stay. Waited over 25 minutes before we got to the front desk. All three people in front of us had issues. One requested all new bedding, one said the key did not work for the room, the other could not stay because they could not find a reservation. After all this discussion around us, we decided to leave and find another hotel.

Room was not available at check-in. So the front desk turned us away and instructed us to return in an hour and a half. Not a big issue, but I had nowhere to store my camera gear (work trip). I didn't feel safe leaving $40k worth of gear in the car in that part of town. When I asked if they had a different solution, I was spoken to in such a condescending way, it left me speechless. He kept telling me how lucky I was to even have a room. How lucky I was that I wouldn't have to wait even longer. And he kept going on and on that I was making a big deal out of nothing. All I did was ask if I could do something with my gear, not much else. This guy was one of the most passive aggressive and least empathetic people I've encountered. I wasn't upset that my room wasn't ready by 5:30pm. I wasn't upset that I couldn't take a shower after driving 7 hours in 101 degree heat. But I was really surprised that the hotel wouldn't at least offer a solution for me. All I wanted was to either drop the gear off in my room or store it in their office. But what I got was a lecture by some self entitled kid. I'll also add that there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, someone's mucous on the shower curtain,the neighborhood was super-shady and I woke up covered in itchy insect bites that are still on my body a week later. You couldn't pay me to stay in this place.I've stayed in 5-dollar hostels in developing countries that were cleaner and had more considerate employees than this.

Good location near city center.

Close to St Patrick’s Hospital is a HUGE Plus walk across parking lot and your there

My stay was great . Just a bad area of town.

Easy to get to in downtown. Nice being on a major street.

This property is run down. The area is full of homeless people and transients . The vending area smells like something died in it. Cheap stay but I don’t recommend it.

Was all good, quiet room, easy location from I-90

I checked in parked my car and as I was unloading my car a saw a young man in his 20’s maybe in a hockey mask no shirt walking around scaring people. I was confronted and threatened with a knife! Police were called and they said “…unless he (me) calls they’re not going to do anything about it!” They did send an officer and we never saw freaky Jason Hockey mask dude again. Yes I did stay it was very expensive room not worth the hassle and worries. The homeless shelter is one block away. Yes I spoke with the manager and nothing was done to help mitigate or repair the attack in the parking lot !BEWARE OF HORRIBLE LOCATIONS

Staff accommodated our needs well. Very nice breakfast options, and very attentive staff at breakfast. Property needs some updates, and shows some wear. The place filled up on a weeknight.

The motel is definitely outdated. Was clean though. The buffet breakfast was not really a buffet. Had pancakes refrigerated burritos and sandwiches and cereal. So not really a buffet. Had to slam the room door really hard to get it to close. When the heater is on the window drapes would move and everyone can look in your room so i had to wedge a pillowup to keep the privacy. Was woke up on my last night at 1130 by an employee trying to get in my room and said he didn't know anyone was in the room. Wouldn't have been a big deal except that i had to get up at 345 to catch my flight. Was a cheap motel so i guess what did i expect. Probably would pay the extra 30 to stay in a nicer hotel.

Don’t be tricked by the photos. The hotel is extremely tired and not that clean. It needs a big facelift. The breakfast area where you get your food was very messy and no one was cleaning up. The breakfast was limited in food options.

So the bed was really comfortable and I really like the comforter. We got a dog room I think because we brought our pup with us. It was desperately in need of cleaning. There’s cobwebs in the corner and all kinds of stuff behind furniture. Holes in the wall, where there was an old soap holder, things out of the wall behind the bed… The floor of the shower was gross. I walked down the hall and there was much better rooms that I could see into. Not sure if ours was off because of the dog. I love no carpet so that was wonderful. Typical breakfast stuff but like the availability of frozen breakfast sandwiches.

Our stay was good....the outside area was not clean. Breakfast was very good!

This used to be a really nice property - back in the 1990s but it looks and feels likes its 35 years older with minimal investment/upkeep. Carpets were old, but at least the bed was good and linens clean. The breakfast offering was very poor quality - we ate breakfast in town.

Prefer motel style lodging vs hotel so this was a great choice. It was a very quick drive to the concert. We were going to at Big Sky, Brewing, and it was a quieter part of town, so when we got home that night around midnight, we could still get a good nights sleep. They had a great free breakfast, including pancakes, eggs, sausage, and more. Have stayed there before I would definitely stay again.
