Renaissance Asheville Downtown Hotel

The elevator was broken and there was a conference. There was a line to check in and a line of people that had complaints at the front desk. We took the stairs because of the elevator (only one working for the whole building) from the 6th floor and made it to the bottom to find a sign that said 'for future notice use the stairs on the opposite side of the building'. The second day was better but the first day was one I wouldn't want to repeat.

Such a great hotel! We were able to walk to almost all of downtown from the hotel! Breakfast was a complimentary buffet with an omelette station and everything was delicious, staff were all so nice and friendly. Hotel was very clean and looks to have been recently updated. Valet is available, but we didn’t use it. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff

Very helpful and polite staff. Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice mountain views. Walkable to Downtown area. The breakfast was pretty gross though. Shower not very hot. Expensive self-parking costs.

Staff was nice and accommodating when I needed to change rooms. Their burgers and fries were amazing.
