Took this for an overnight stay on a long road trip. I booked it not knowing much about the area. The service is good, the room was clean but also very simple. The neighborhood is extremely remote and not sure about how safe it is. There is no pool, no gym but a small breakfast. I think it’s a little overpriced based on the amenities offered. It seems like there are better areas along the 95 that offer more amenities and even just more dining and less remote of a neighborhood, for a similar price. (Fayetteville, Wilson, Lumberton are all not so far and off the 95),I expected something a little different with the Quality Inn franchise.

This hotel is older and in great need of updating. Pool was unavailable (green and nasty looking.) Stairs in rear should be condemned. TV was not functional. Coffeemaker overflowed everywhere. Microwave setting (defrost/cook) just spun and could not be set to cook.

Microwave in room and good size “mini” fridge with great working little freezer for ice packs! Ac works great in room, black out curtains and can’t hear neighbors. Thanks!

We stopped at this property to get some sleep on our roadtrip South. We weren’t expecting much and didn’t really need much. The room we received was very old and dirty. There were also cigarette burns, even though it was considered a nonsmoking room. We checked out very early because we simply did not want to remain in the room. The staff that were on duty were wonderful. We actually felt bad for them. The girl that was on duty at the front desk worked on getting us a different room. At the point when she had one to offer us it was late and we were exhausted from driving for 12 hours. We had already settled in to sleep and chose to remain where we were simply because we were already falling asleep. Thank you for trying to make our stay better! You were great!

We stayed for 3 nights. The bedding had holes and stunk. The room stunk. No houskeeping was done at all meaning no clean towels, no vacuuming ( the carpet was dirty and not vacuumed when we got there ), recieved a call the first night that the water may be shut off from the town and to take showers now, the guest laundry was broken due to the pipes were broken, there was urine at the top of the shower above your head and they couldn't print out receipts because their computers were down. Worst stay we have ever had. Don't bother going here.

Our stay was Excellent! Staff were very friendly and professional! They were a wealth of knowledge about the area and good places to eat dinner. The breakfast in the morning was very pleasing! It was a delightful experience staying there. I have stayed in dozens of hotel/motel rooms in the past, not was ever as clean as our room at Quality Inn!

The staff were very pleasant and it was conveniently located to the highway. The hotel was in good condition, clean and comfy. The bathroom was definitely dated and there is a train somewhere close that can be easily heard sometimes but overall, it was a good experience.

Overall good stay. Property is dated, but appeared to be clean. Bed was comfy, towels were flimsy. Right off the I81 exit. Some traffic noise, but tolerable. Not bad for the price!

Checked in and was told after checking in , we having a issue with the hot water. Its warm but not hot. Stayed and turned the water on that morning COLD WATER NOT WARM AT ALL. Front desk staff rude and unconcerned. The hotel shoyld have closed knowing some reservations are non refundable. Why keep checking people in!

The room was clean and the facility and service was different this time. Doing my check in, I had to use the restroom very very much. I asked the receptionist if I could use the lobby or office restroom while she checked me in. She had my debit and identification card in her possession. She told me there wasn't a restroom. when I stated that I had to step out of the facilities and into some adjacent woods (trees), she expressed that she didn't agree with that. This resulted in me partially urinating on myself. Im 69 years old and at times it's hard to hold my urine. This was very embarrassing for me and cruel on the receptionist part as I pleaded with her twice. Don't think I'll be using this Inn anymore. A total disregard for a veteran, elderly and human.

My stay was great! The front desk staff (Mary Beth, Bretanie, Brenda, and Fausto) are amazing. They are the friendliest, most helpful front desk staff I have encountered. Checking in and out is simple and quick. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there in the future.

Mary Beth and staff are absolutely amazing! I am truly thrilled to stay at this hotel every chance I get! I feel like family every time I book. Mary Beth makes sure that my room is always ready, warm and welcoming. If I had to choose any hotel to stay at, I would always come to this very hotel!

I hate to say that I don’t have their names, but the 2 ladies in the front desk (yesterday late night and today in the morning) were awesome! Super attentive, really respectful and have the greatest customer service that we had never experienced before in any hotel of this kind. The facilities are SUPER clean, is not a luxury hotel but you don’t need a luxury to be clean, and the rooms, common areas and facilities are spotless! 100% sure if we need to use an hotel near again will be this Quality Inn.

I booked a stay at the Quality Inn hotel through Expedia, expecting a decent experience based on the recommendation and rate. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I checked in around 1 AM, and the next morning, I wasn’t feeling well. I called the front desk and politely asked for a late checkout of just 30 extra minutes — until 11:30 AM instead of 11:00. The front desk clerk, Brenda, was rude and dismissive, insisting I leave by 11 because “others were waiting for the room.” Yet when I walked out, I saw many rooms were clearly unoccupied — especially surprising for a Sunday, when hotels are usually less busy. I wasn’t asking for much — just a little understanding and flexibility. Instead, I received poor customer service and no empathy. This was not a good recommendation by Expedia, and I would not stay here again or suggest it to others.

The front desk staff at the Quality Inn in Kenly, NC is hands down the friendliest group of people I’ve come across. They are straightforward, welcoming, polite and accommodating. They truly care about their guests and their stay. If there is ever an issue they get it taken care of right away. Other hotels I have stayed at made me feel like I was really bothering them if I had a concern to the point that I didn’t speak up. I feel comfortable and welcomed at this property.

We were in town for a funeral. Marybeth (the manager) was so very kind to us during our stay. She even offered us a late check out due to our circumstances. We ended up not needing a late check out but really appreciated the thoughtfulness. The property was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The free continental breakfast was very good and included waffles oatmeal with all the toppings fresh yogurt with fresh fruit toppings and much more. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to all those traveling in this area. 10 out of 10!!!!!

Just like all my stays…it was great! Mary had me checked-in in no time and Fausto made check out quick and he even noticed a pair of my shoes I forgot and made sure I got them back before I left. I really do appreciate the staff here. They are very friendly and accommodating.

Older motel maintained well. It was very clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. Great place to stop along your way down 95 if an occasional train doesn’t bother you.

Quality Inn at Kenly is easy access in and out off I95. The hotel is well maintained, clean and inexpensive for those traveling north and south off I95. There isn't much food places so I recommend Wawa at Wilson. The railroad also runs nearby so it can be a bit noisy at times.

Took this for an overnight stay on a long road trip. I booked it not knowing much about the area. The service is good, the room was clean but also very simple. The neighborhood is extremely remote and not sure about how safe it is. There is no pool, no gym but a small breakfast. I think it’s a little overpriced based on the amenities offered. It seems like there are better areas along the 95 that offer more amenities and even just more dining and less remote of a neighborhood, for a similar price. (Fayetteville, Wilson, Lumberton are all not so far and off the 95),I expected something a little different with the Quality Inn franchise.

My stay was great as usual. Rooms are clean, bed was very comfortable and the hotel staff may my check in quick and easy. I come to this area at least twice a month and this is the only hotel. I will stay at while I’m here. It’s a nice quiet location in close proximity to restaurants, convenience, stores, grocery stores, and other retail stores. I feel safe while I’m here in regardless of what time it is if I need something, the staff is always available to help. And you can’t beat the price I would recommend this hotel to anyone..

Everything is great here. It’s my second stay and I’ll be back if I’m in the area again. Breakfast has more options than your typical continental breakfast. Staff is really nice and knowledgeable about the area!

We arrived late evening and the check-in person was very friendly and helpful. The room was ready and the temperature was comfortable. Breakfast was more varied than expected, including make-your-own waffles.

The wifi was only semi-functional and the breakfast consisted of coffee and a waffle (with no plates big enough for the waffle), no bagels, no cereal, no orange juice. If you will be out of everything, perhaps don’t list a breakfast as an amenity.

The hotel was very clean. The front desk people were really friendly. On Friday and Saturday evenings they have free popcorn and nachos. I will definitely stay there again.

Smaller, old-time hotel - but incredibly well maintained for its age. It is obvious that the owners are striving for excellence. It’s not fancy, but it is very clean and everywhere you look it’s a reflection of pride of ownership. It’s a great choice for long road trips.

It took over an hour to check in. The computer kept providing incorrect information. There a hole kicked through the bottom of my room's bathroom door. The bathroom light had burned out .

Convenient location a few feet off I-95 with no other lodging of any kind nearby. Renovated old-style motel from 60's/70's with direct access to room from parking outside. Microwave/Fridge in each room, easy access to laundry on parking level. Not fancy, but adequate and comfortable, and a bargain for the price. Breakfast is spare, with no meat of eggs and a broken juice machine. This alone keeps the rating from a "5".
