Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lumberton, NC

The parking lot was flooded by erupting sewer in the back and side. Bathroom was dirty. Floor sticky and corners had debris. Bathtub finish was chipping off all over. Internet was not working . Breakfast sausage, eggs and biscuits were cold and dry. H. Carrier room 415. Pool closed. Carpet pulled up around elevator. Tripping hazzard.

This is the 3rd year in a row that the pool was not available. The floor in our room was dirty as well as the bathroom.

One of our two rooms smelled terribly. Drains in the bathroom sink and bathtub did not drain well. Bathtub faucet needed to be replaced, as the drain plug was stuck in the shower position. We could not get away from the smell of marijuana throughout the hotel. There was not any air condition or ventilation in the fitness room. One out of the three machines was broken. It was advertised there would be an indoor and outdoor pool, however, both were closed. Breakfast was not restocked quickly enough, and we had to wait quite a while for our food.

Pool and fitness were out of service. Status in ad was not updated to reflect this. Would have stayed elsewhere.

The heat worked great. It had nice hot water and the water pressure was great. Bed was comfy. Sheets looked clean. Paint was peeling in tub/ shower and the tub nozzle to turn it on would come off when you did. The chair by desk had the material peeling off it pretty bad. Pool water was really dark, but it is winter so we weren’t using it anyway but would have looked better if it was clean. Ice machines were out of order

Room was dirty carpet was horrible…. disgusting. Food was left in the refrigerator bath tub was dirty. Wi-Fi did not work. Pool closed.

They advetise pool but the pool is no working for a very very very long time

Check-in was easy and Jasmine (at the front desk) was great as can be. The hotel's wifi would not work. I asked front desk to reboot it but it was locked in the office so they didnt have access to do so. The next morning, I asked front desk and was immediately blown off and handed and card to call some IT company. The room's carpet was absolutely stained and filthy. The bathroom had not been cleaned welll... in a LONG time... there were hairs everywhere, dust and dirt on the floor. One end of the parking lot was flooded so parking late night was limited. The pool was drained... probably explains the flooded parking lot.

I wish I had thought to take photos. The condition of this hotel was deplorable. But the most disgusting part was the COCKROACH in our bathroom. If I had seen it last night we would have been out of there. We saw it this morning…packed up and got the hell out.

This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. The rooms were filthy with stains all over the carpets and beds. The showers were dirty and had paint chipping away. The beds had bugs in them. We were shown 3 rooms, and they were all disgusting! We ended up not staying and left within 25 minutes of checking in. I was told a manager would contact me, but I haven't received anything yet, and I was charged the full amount of our stay even though we didn't stay.

I loved the lobby area and the friendly staff. When I got to my room it appeared very nice and clean. Around 215am I saw a baby roach. I went to the bathroom and came out there was a bigger one. As I am getting my stuff out the fridge to leave there some by the microwave and falling off the door by the fridge it was infested.

Everything is extremely dirty, from the shower to mattress. There's not one spot that's remotely clean.

There was water damage all through out the room. The tub was soaked and had other peoples body hair in it. The floors were stained every inch of the room. When putting the fold out bed back together we found an old muddy work boot behind the bed with trash. We arrived at breakfast at 8:30 with an hour remaining. There was no eggs left and only a few sausages. The bagel was stale. We sat at a long table as it could fit my party of 7. Over top was a huge water hole that ended up dripping all over our table and food. We notified the staff and she said it's been like that for 3 weeks! So clearly this hotel staff doesn't care about the appearance of this place. We have stayed at country inn and suites before in Virginia and this one did not live up to that hotels standards.

The hotel pitcures online did not represent the awful conditions of the room. The carpet had stains throughout. The bathroom exhaust fan was missing & there wasan opening in the ceailing. The tub looked dirty & layers were peeled off. It also smelled like urine in the bathroom. The walls were dirty & one of the bed sheets had a stain. I was told I could not be offered another room because the hotel was booked. At check out waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. All the staff were outside talking & it wasn't until the person in charge of the breakfast called staff over that someone came.

Roaches

There weren’t enough bed linens, or towels for everybody staying in the room, for a room with the capacity of five people there was only enough for two. The carpet was stained, the beds had hair and visible dirt and dust on them, the linens didn’t seem to have been changed from the previous occupant,the shower had hair and soap scum. On the counter with the microwave and coffee maker there were bits of food and crumbs.Overall, it was just very dirty. Seemed like they made a half hearted effort to make it appear as though it had been cleaned and turned over but it wasn’t actually clean.

There were stains on our bed sheets and towels were dingy, tub was really dirty and not cleaned properly.

Booked 3 rooms for family. Our room was uninhabitable— musty, moldy smell due to leaky air conditioning. Made my husband ill. Left that room and stayed in daughter in laws room. Carpet was stained everywhere. the bed mattress was stained with urine and blood. Sheets were clean, but we were afraid to walk on floor or even shower. No one in our group of 9 did. We waited until we got to the place were we’re heading to then showered and washed all our clothing. It was gross. It didn’t use to be a bad place, but I will never stay there again

We were in Room 202. Temperature control in room did not work. Temperature indicated it was on but could not be adjusted from air conditioning to heat modes. Indicator displayed only “on”. We couldn’t switch from Cool to Heat or even to Off. We were cold all night.

Road construction made traffic outside louder but after rush hour it was fine

This was a convenient location. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. All but one light in our queen suite was broken, the sink by the fridge had no water, and the wifi only worked in the lobby. I’m traveling with toddlers so we needed the crib, but at check in they said they do not have any at all. Not that none were available, just that they actually do not have them although their website says they do and that’s why I chose this place.

The beds sank so much in the middle it hurt my back I couldn’t rest. I will not stay there again.

I usually stay at cheaper motels but I wanted to splurge and have a nice night. I was happy with the room and staff. But ALL the ice machines were broken. Also I could not get the WIFI to work. It would connect and then drop right away. It could have been a great stay, but it ended up being disappointing and not worth the money I paid.

The room was very nice; however, the water coming out of the shower was only hot, so it was very difficult to bathe. Also, the smoke detector was missing from the ceiling and the connecting wires were hanging down.

The reviews were not at all Accurate. The room was dirty, stains on the ceiling and in the tub. Dirt on the floor. Requested the rooms to be next to each other, but was given a room across and down the hall. Huge gap between floor and door to room, you could hear everything in the halls and beyond. Could hardly get sleep. Bathroom sink faucet water was not coming out in a stream. Cabinet doors where microwave and fridge were barely hanging on. Was afraid to open the doors.

Stained bed sheet. Paint peeling in bathtub. Curtains no dark enough and allowed a lot of light in. Windows we’re not sound muffling allowing a lot of traffic noise.

Ursula Moody she is very unprofessional and being assistant general manager you would except better treatment.This hotel will also charge your card on file without authorization. Housekeepers constantly taking cigarette breaks. Unprofessional narcissist environment!!

The property is extremely outdated and run down. Sheets are paper thin, hotel has an awful ammonia type smell. The furniture is worn and dated. The shower floor is peeling, with the drain cover rusted and was left off the drain. Glad I only stayed 1 night. The front desk was nice, but told me my room wasn’t paid for and had me pay for the room again, even though I did pay it. So now I’ve been charged double for a crappy hotel.

As for the staff, they were absolutely amazing from the lady at check-in, the lady running breakfast, and the lady at check-out. I can’t say enough good things about them. Our rooms however were quite outdated and the carpets in both rooms were DISGUSTING. It was sticky when walking on it barefoot (which I only did one time and wore shoes the rest of the time) and the carpet was also stained everywhere. The curtains were stained at the bottom also.

What I did not like the desk clerk when I checked in did not add the correct card for the bill to be paid. The next morning early morning the front desk kept calling 3x they called and finally came to the room 2x due to the credit card I had on file was not to be used as I provided the new card when I first checked in. I explain I did not like the way you all kept calling my room and came to my room disturbing my peace time. I end up leaving prior to check out time due to all the interruption. Antumn the desk clerk stated she did not know what happen or why she did not add the card. They need to do better on how they handle their customer.

I did not like when I checked in I call the day before to confirm my stay the lady told me she had me all set she had my reservation and whine got there The lady told me that I had to call Expedia and Expedia had to call the property and she was very nasty telling me that’s why she don’t use third-party for reservations, and our room Substandard The room look like where contractor stayed in and I won’t stay there again

I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Lumberton NC. I was there on business for one night. I was alone and am a female in a state I have not visited before. I awoke at 4:30 in the morning to a large man banging on my door. I looked through the peep hole that was very foggy and all I could make out was a large male banging on the door. I hesitated, unsure of what to do. I eventually asked through the door “can I help you?”. He replied with “hotel security, we need you to come down stairs. Your card declined and we need another form of payment.” This made NO sense to me as I had just been paid, am a business professional on a business trip, and literally scared me to death. I immediately called my husband who told me “do not open that door!”. I didn’t , but was scared out of my mind! Alone, foreign area, female, story that made no sense!! My husband called the front desk and they said I could speak to them in the morning. Didn’t ask my name or room number. They did leave me alone after, however no sleep was attained. I was terrified! First thing in the morning I go to the front desk. I explain to the sweet girl, who had no idea, and she apologized profusely. Said they made a mistake and the card did go through. I asked immediately for the manager. Of course, not available so I asked for her name and contact. Later that day I receive a phone call from someone that says they will discount my room $50. I DONT WANT THIER MONEY! I want to be heard! I want this

This is a convenient location for a stayover off of route 95.

Fairly priced stay: signage is not prominent; I mistakenly went to Comfort Sinn next door!

Convenient place to stay for a night when you’re driving from the bottom of the country to the top. It’s right of the interstate and many dinning options as well as gas

Very friendly staff and clean room. However the hotel is a little run down - paint peeling on some doors, etc. and noisy but to be expected since it so close to I-95 and the main road. All the nearby restaurants and facilities are very convinient. Good overnight stop if driving oto-from Florida on I-95

Staff is very friendly and courteous including the young lady putting out the breakfast! The hotel is clean and close to I95 very convenient but at times a little noisy but did get a good night’s rest. Thank you!

Breakfast area was over crowded and small, all cups, silverware wrapped individually in plastic, so much waste!!!!! Tub in room was chipping and bathroom door didn’t close.

Was fine for a quick overnight pass-through. Breakfast food was taken quickly upon 6:30 AM opening by construction worker guests, and took staff a while to recover (restock the hot foods). Place was clean, but it's showing its age.

We stayed for 1 night and for the price and length of stay, it was fine. The tub in our room needed heavy updating though. The tub was badly worn to the point of looking dirty but it was the finish that was coming off. The sink would splash everywhere when you turned it on. There were burn stains in the floor. Breakfast was good and service was great! Once updated, it'll be a great place to stay

Lady for check was super nice. Beds are old and the place really needs an upgrade on the inside. Breakfast was cut short by almost 2hours due to either no food or not enough help to make anymore....not even a cup of coffee! I usually stay where I can get a breakfast before I head out for another drive but had to stop and for that...very disappointed that there was literally nothing to eat but dry cereal or if u wanted some oatmeal. There are plenty of places to stay in that area or a short drive so may consider that next time I travel through Lumberton.

Our experience was good for a 1 night travel stay.. while the room was average, the staff at the complimentary breakfast area was excellent, keeping the food trays filled and cleaning empty tables promptly.

The place was awful. The rugs were stained, the fabric on the desk chair was all ripped and the air conditioner was so noisy it kept waking us up all night. Breakfast was included but when we went down to eat at 8:30 the breakfast room was empty of all food, even though there was an hour left of service hours. No manager was on site to address my issues.

The staff was polite and friendly, but the hotel has seen better days. The carpet was very stained, the walls were peeling, the shower walls had pieces missing (but the water pressure was good). The smoke detector kept us up chirping on and off all night and the solution from the desk was for us to climb up and take it off the celling. Those should be kept up with regularly for safety and so that guests don't need to handle it themselves. The beds were sagging in thy middle. Breakfast was fine but the juice machines were all broken. Also we couldn't find an ice machine that worked in the building.
