Their website says “Pet friendly”. My little pooch and I were here for 13-hours. She did her business outside and didn’t damage the hotel in any way. They charged me $75 for her. My fault for not reading the fine print, but still outrageous. I’ve stayed in many pet friendly hotels; none charged over $25. Some charged nothing. Some took a refundable fee. I will never stay at a Fairfield Inn again.

I didn’t like that the exit door leading to the parking lot on side of building was not locked. We were in room 104. The tiles in shower were cracked possibly from someone falling into them. I also felt the rug was dirty, but I just don’t like carpet. The staff was friendly, worked hard and breakfast was nice. I also liked the soaps in shower “Alice and Co”. The hotel was easy access to I95 and was halfway point from South Florida to North East Pennsylvania.

The hotel was clean but my trip started and ended horribly! There was a young lady at check in and let's just say she needs WAY MORE training. When I arrived after she helped the guy in front of me she didn't acknowledge me AT ALL. She did not look up and I did not move from where I was waiting I finally stepped up and said hello I'm checking in and handed her my ID and cc. She puts them on the desk instead of handing them back. Then silently makes my keys and drops them on the table. Only reason I knew there was an elevator was bc I saw someone going up and asked if that's the only way to get to my room. This was after me having to ask what floor I'm on and room number then if there's wifi. NOTHING was explained. After a 9 hour drive with 2 kids I retreat to my room and they're ready to go swimming but guess what I find 1 hour later after prepping! NO POOL EITHER BUT NO ONE TOLD ME! THEN MY KIDS GO TO FIND SOMETHING TO DO GUESS WHAT EVERY 2 SECONDS THEY'RE BOOTED OFF THE WIFI!!! If you are traveling with kids please save yourself and go elsewhere!

Inviting decor and lobby. Hallways were clean and up to date. Rooms were clean. Of course there are more expensive options not far away but it’s a nice hotel at this price point. Very nice staff.

The windows were full of condensation. The entire hotel felt wet and muggy. The rugs, bed, everything felt wet. The smell of mildew was strong. We stayed for a quick overnight. That's all it's good for. Bring a dehumidifier. Staff was nice and the breakfast is ok.

Good Afternoon, I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Lumberton, NC. I will get right to the points, on my first night, I had to kill a roach crawling on the wall by the bed. I also went to the front desk to quite more towels and key, this was around about 11pm, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to even appear at the front desk. Then in night number 2, I had ti kill two more roaches. When i called the front desk to ask for another room or big spray, the lady replied that they were full and they do not have any big spray and hung up on me. So I did not get much sleep the rest of the night as I was in the lookout for bugs and I had to wake up early the next day to drive home. Just overall a terrible stay and I will never stay there again. I did not pay to stay somewhere I could not even sleep and had to be an exterminator. Would never want to experience this again. I was previously a frequent member with Marriott.

I booked this hotel because it had an 8.2/10 rating. It probably deserves a 6.5/10. The pros: The staff are friendly, breakfast was fairly nice (they had green tea as an alternative to coffee), being a pet friendly hotel it was really quiet and the bed was comfortable. The cons: The bathroom was filthy. I just felt that I walked into someone else’s bathroom. The floor was sticky and full of hair. The toilet bowl had urine leaking down on it. The towels had hair on them. The hand soap smelled rancid so I used the body wash from the tub to wash my hands. The tub already started to peel. In the room the USB chargers don’t work, the outlets on the lamp base are so flimsy that the charger worked in one position only. If we moved it a little bit it got disconnected right away. The fridge was working but there was water on the bottom. The insulation of the room is so inefficient that the heating had to turn on every five minutes to keep the room warm. We were listening to the heater all night long instead of sleeping

When I went into the room, the curtains were closed tight and AC was running full blast which I suspect puts way too much moisture into the air and made everything feel damp! It was not too pleasant sleeping on a bed that felt damp and clammy!

The main problems were 1) a strong odor of cigarette smoke that hit hard as soon as we walked into the room, 2) the A/C did not blow cold air resulting in a very uncomfortable room and poor rest as we entered another day of driving, 3) there was no secondary lock as the swing bar door guard was missing the swing bar, and 4) most all of the easily accessible electrical outlets were unusable. The final straw was the complete lack of hot water at 5 am forcing us to take cold showers after a horrific night of no significant rest. Was told the General Manager would contact me and “make it right”. Got tired of waiting so I emailed her, still waiting on a reply. SAD. You would think something like this would be a high priority. I guess we just chalk it up to the continued death of customer service.

The hotel was clean, the staff was attentive and pleasant, the room was comfortable, the beds were a little saggy but I still got a good night's sleep. The breakfast had eggs and offered a sausage biscuit, I would have preferred bacon but the protein was available. The coffee was good.

Front desk attendant Jimmy was awesome. We stayed here prior a couple of days and asked for the same room - he was very accommodating. The room is very quiet especially traveling with a dog.

The hotel told orbitz and I that they won't give any partial refund because i checked in to the room. I feel this is an unfair business practice because i was not told at checkin that my room wasn't available or else i would never have checked in to begin with.

The main problems were 1) a strong odor of cigarette smoke that hit hard as soon as we walked into the room, 2) the A/C did not blow cold air resulting in a very uncomfortable room and poor rest as we entered another day of driving, 3) there was no secondary lock as the swing bar door guard was missing the swing bar, and 4) most all of the easily accessible electrical outlets were unusable. The final straw was the complete lack of hot water at 5 am forcing us to take cold showers after a horrific night of no significant rest. Was told the General Manager would contact me and “make it right”. Got tired of waiting so I emailed her, still waiting on a reply. SAD. You would think something like this would be a high priority. I guess we just chalk it up to the continued death of customer service.

Good Afternoon, I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Lumberton, NC. I will get right to the points, on my first night, I had to kill a roach crawling on the wall by the bed. I also went to the front desk to quite more towels and key, this was around about 11pm, I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to even appear at the front desk. Then in night number 2, I had ti kill two more roaches. When i called the front desk to ask for another room or big spray, the lady replied that they were full and they do not have any big spray and hung up on me. So I did not get much sleep the rest of the night as I was in the lookout for bugs and I had to wake up early the next day to drive home. Just overall a terrible stay and I will never stay there again. I did not pay to stay somewhere I could not even sleep and had to be an exterminator. Would never want to experience this again. I was previously a frequent member with Marriott.

The hotel was clean but my trip started and ended horribly! There was a young lady at check in and let's just say she needs WAY MORE training. When I arrived after she helped the guy in front of me she didn't acknowledge me AT ALL. She did not look up and I did not move from where I was waiting I finally stepped up and said hello I'm checking in and handed her my ID and cc. She puts them on the desk instead of handing them back. Then silently makes my keys and drops them on the table. Only reason I knew there was an elevator was bc I saw someone going up and asked if that's the only way to get to my room. This was after me having to ask what floor I'm on and room number then if there's wifi. NOTHING was explained. After a 9 hour drive with 2 kids I retreat to my room and they're ready to go swimming but guess what I find 1 hour later after prepping! NO POOL EITHER BUT NO ONE TOLD ME! THEN MY KIDS GO TO FIND SOMETHING TO DO GUESS WHAT EVERY 2 SECONDS THEY'RE BOOTED OFF THE WIFI!!! If you are traveling with kids please save yourself and go elsewhere!

Great hotel, however its close to interstate and traffic was noisy especially because there's roadwork being done. Also noticed roach in my room by refrig. Staff at desk helpful and friendly, lobby area very nice.

Perfect place to split our Florida-to-New Jersey trip in half. Staff is great, rooms are immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast is just enough to get you going on the road again.

Checking was quick, great service. The room was confortable. Nice couch, clean. The reason I rates so low was because there's was a roach inside the bread cabinet duro breakfast, and the roach wasn't the big deal, it happens. My issues was with the attendance at front desk who didn't flinch or looked surprised or moved, he just pointed and said "She is in the Kitchen"

We were driving from FL to NJ and wanted to stop. It price was $100 and you get what you paid for. The hallways on 2nd floor was absolutely filthy dirty and disgusting with dirty silverware , hair bands , band aid trash. We get to our room at almost midnight and the floor around the bed and behind it was dirty, candy and wrappers behind the bed. Breakfast was disgusting as well with wet microwave eggs. We left and went to cracker barrel.

The staff was very efficient and helpful.. The woman doing the Breakfast was very good. The only downside was the parking lot and it may be because of the construction in the area. It was raining when we arrived and parking lot was flooded. We had wet shoes the next day..

We checked in around 9pm. The receptionist was extremely helpful. However, we booked a king room with a sofa bed. Hotels.com said we had that room booked but it wasn’t actually available when we checked in. The receptionist was helpful but it was an uncomfortable nights sleep as we shared a bed with a 4 year old.

It was a good, short stay. Everything worked. The bathroom outclassed the bedroom. The chair in the bedroom looked pretty dusty and no artwork, pictures, etc... The bathroom was updated and shower was great. Breakfast was par but the staff was nice and helpful.
