The parking area was to small

It has a indoor pool but the heater didn't work so the pool was like 20 degrees n my kids couldn't swim

The manager was very helpful in getting us into 2 rooms on short notice! The breakfast was good( more choices than most) If I had a complaint it would be that there was no elevator and we had a lot of luggage.

HORRIBLE!! Don’t stay here…the lot was nasty, the rooms were gross, a lamp threw sparks trying to turn it on, and the pool was the worst of all of it. This was meant to be a brief getaway for my child to play in the pool. The pool was literally as cold as the water the Titanic was in the night it hit the iceberg!! No heat at all and practically had hypothermia when you got out of it. The hot tub has been closed since Covid started and you could cure a terminal disease with the fungus growing all over it. The “security “ in the pool was two old glass doors held shut with a PENCIL!!! Please don’t go here!! We were absolutely miserable!

The indoor pool was freezing cold and it’s one of the reasons I picked it for my children and we couldn’t even get in and hot tub wasn’t even in working order

The hotel looks nothing like the photos online. It is extremely small and dated - which is fine. It does not have an elevator & we were put on the 2nd floor. We are a family of 6 so carrying our luggage up and down flights of stairs with children was not something we were expecting or we would have booked elsewhere. The hot tub shown in the photos is no longer there. There is not a hot tub or a functioning bathroom in the pool area. The pool was dirty. Breakfast was decent.

Disappointed pool was not open. States pump broke. Appears they were working on it the next morning. Pool guy was with owner at pool house. Just bad luck.

Clean and seemed to be cared for with the exception of no ice machine. Ice is available at the front desk. Plenty of hot water with good pressure.

No elevator for second floor. Have to struggle with luggage upstairs if on the second floor.

All good service, check-in & check-out was easy. Really disappointed to choose this hotel for the indoor pool (assuming it was still heated, as it was when stayed here before) and find that it was very cold. The manger said management had just changed and it should be fixed/heated by next year.

When me and my Wife first checked in. I walked in thinking someone would be at the front counter. Nope there was no one there. There was a sign there saying if no one was there to ring a bell. Well there was no bell to ring, so i made the ring sound myself and about a minute later, someone finally came out to check me in. The gentlemen gave me my room number and for some reason gave me a handicap room, when I didnt request one. Me nor my wife are handicapped. Got into the room and I usually do a walk through, throught the room and sitting in the corner there was a shower seat sitting there and what appeared tobe bloody feces on it. Even tho me and my wife dont use that. It was disgusting to evem have to see that sitting there. I immediately notified the front desk person(after waiting another few minutes for him to come out of the office) and he came and got the shower stoole. Also there was a human hair tangled in the blankets on the bed, the shower head didnt work properly, there was a stain on the shower curtain, and the room smelled modly. Iam very disappointing in my stay and will properly never stay here ever again. As I vist Maggie Valley alot esspically during the Winter months. The only reason i didnt give a 1 star is because the shower had really nice hot water. I do not recommend anyone to stay here while vistong Maggie Valley.

Staff was professional, friendly and prompt check in. The rooms and hallways were needed in dire upgrades from carpet to furniture. Very outdated and dirty. Carpets were filthy. Rooms itself were clean however no ice since ice machine broken. Breakfast was good.

Holes in the sheets on both beds, stain on one bedsheet. Black (mascara?) stain on washcloth. Fridge leaked and was set up so that it was hard to open. Mildew on the shower curtain, bath door jamb filthy in the corners, pipe under sink filthy and could be seen from toilet. Toaster oven was horribly filthy with burnt on food and stains in the window of the pull down door. Broken tiles in the doorway. Smell of the pool hot hard as I walked in the front door. Area around the water fountain in fitness room was disgustingly dirty, obviously not mopped or cleaned properly.I have photos of everything and am happy to share. The young lady at the front desk made excuses for everything which I showed her. She offered new sheets but did not offer a different clean room. I will not stay there again nor will I recommend it to others. (This would not let me add photos on my review even though there was a place for them)

Room was poorly cleaned. We payed extra for a room with a large jet bathtub which was not cleaned properly. My husband went to the front desk and asked for some cleaning supplies (we were going to clean it) and the woman working the desk said that room had already been cleaned and refused to give us any cleaning supplies, even when we told her the tub was dirty and had hair in it. Will not stay here again!

We had to call to request an early check-in. Not only did they accommodate our request, it was done 30 minutes earlier than promised. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Bathroom was dirty, molded shower curtain. It took hours to get it replaced inly with a slightly less molded shower curtain. Hair and dirt on floors in the corners. Husbands back was killing him from very hard uncomfortable bed. The breakfast scrambled eggs were the only good thing about the entire experience.

Ok for one, the hot tub is not working. It had trash in it. The pool very cold. The ice machine is still not working. The sliding door to balcony would not slide easy. I used a black light to check the cleanliness of the bed sheeys. On both beds there was splaters of blood. Just do yourself a favor dont stay here.

We've stayed here twice and have been very satisfied with our stay. Love the balconies on the creek 😍 you don't hear any noises from the busy street. Much quieter stay than cherokee.

Bathroom door handle was broken off. My son cut his hand on the sharp metal trying to get out of the bathroom. The room felt okay. But the bathroom is rough.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The door to the balcony overlooking the creek had a makeshift handle that was just hanging by one screw, it was unsafe and difficult to open. The balcony needed pressure washed the table was very dirty. The view was spectacular. Breakfast was lacking in quality . The milk for cereal tasted spoiled, instead of napkins bathroom brown folded hand towels ect. With a little work and attention this place would be good. I hope they attend to the little things that add up to a lot in the big picture cause this could still be a great place not just fair. I may stay again if they step up their game a little. Landscaping tells a lot about a place. If weeding is unattended…..,,

All was very good, only complaint was beds were SO high! Hard to get into bed! Everything else was good! Close to everything in Maggie Valley -restaurants, shopping, & fun things to do & see! Also, provided GREAT breakfast on property!

The room was large and the bed is extremely comfortable. I suffer from back problems and I got up the next morning with no pain.

I have never left a negative review before but this was quite bad. After a series of poor service concerns that I kept quiet about, I finally decided that it was time to try to talk to the manager, Paul Patel. I was calm, trying to voice my concern, and he threatened me with extra charges. After posting a Google review that expressed my concerns (since he wouldn't listen to mine in person), he called and threatened to kick me out of the hotel unless I took it down. I did take it down as I'm a single foster mom with a special needs kid and making a quick change to another hotel during vacation would have been a challenge. But even now, I feel nervous to post this as Paul Patel, the manager, was threatening any time I tried to voice a concern. When the review had been posted the first time, he said "if you won't respect us, we won't respect you". My concern is that I had been respectful and he had not been, by threatening me twice with either additional costs (not associated with any policy) or getting kicked out for speaking up.

Rooms were comfortable and clean,several restaurants were within walking distance, and better-than-average breakfast. Downside was an evening desk clerk who barely spoke English, and had an accent that was so thick that people had trouble understanding him, at which point he would start yelling at them. I witnessed one woman in the lobby telling him to stop "hollering" at her. He was rude to everyone I saw, myself included. The fellow is proof that it's hard to find people who want to work.

Staff was rude upon arrival. Was told to go away from the desk while the front desk attendant was on her earbuds. While waiting, another family came down to report the room they had received keys for, already had a family in it. They said the family they walked in on was also very upset. Then, when the she got to us, she told us their system was down and we would need to find an ATM and get cash. Seemed very odd all around.

I called ahead to see if I could check in a half hour early and was told yes without anyone even asking for my booking information. Upon arrival was only given 1 key and tried to use the door closest to our room and the door lock didn’t work so we had to walk all the way back to the front and use the main entrance for the remainder of my stay. Got to the room and it smelled stale and turned on the ac and it made the smell worse. We had 3 kids with us and booked a suite with a sleeper sofa. We opened it up to make the bed and there were no sheets. I tried to call the front desk twice but it just kept ringing. I then walked down to the counter and there were 2 people working the front desk. I then asked for sheets and blankets for the sleeper sofa and neither person understood what I was saying. Neither person spoke English very well, so I explained what I needed with small hand gestures and the manager told me no to getting sheets for the sleeper sofa. Finally the housekeeper came down and he understood what I needed and helped me after I tried to explain to the manager we got the suite to use the sleeper sofa for our 3 rd child.I got the sheets and the housekeeper offered to make the bed but I insisted because he was such a help. I later had to go back to the front desk to get towels and some extra shampoo and conditioner, the lady at the front desk didn’t understand what I asked for so I went to the pool and showed her a towel and she got it but made me follow her to get it.

Came up for an Annual Event with my car Group and was highly impressed with the Customer Service Kay gave me and my Group. Will definitely stay here again next year.

I booked 2 rooms for Saturday and Sunday night on MLK weekend 2024. First - the pictures are ALL very deceiving! The UNHEATED pool is indoor but very tiny and there is NO water in the hot tub. They told us that they do not do room service on the weekends (are you kidding!!). We also had a service animal and I had to show “my papers” to them before they bee grudgingly accept them and they were not happy to have them. (Our service animal is a 3 pound Yorkie) We also asked for towels as again, they do not service the rooms and it was an huge issue for them when we asked clean towels. The last morning I asked for 2 clean towels and I was told they only had one clean towel in the hotel… I can’t have 2. The general attitude, atmosphere of the hospitality staff was cold and openly RUDE to include rolling of the eyes and scoffing at any request. The worst 2 rooms in the entire hotel is what they gave us. The ONLY 2 rooms didn’t have a balcony nor did it look over the stream, we were put on the second floor (which they do not have an elevator) simply because we had a 3 pound service dog. The breakfast… they didn’t have milk for cereal- and I wouldn’t feed that breakfast to my service animal! And be careful when you turn in the heater because the electrical turn on switch, looked like it was based on a tik tok!(good enough) video! There’s NO way that was up to code!

A+ for the staff. Location is great. There are a lot of places to visit nearby. I do like how they let you check in early through your phone to save time upon arrival.

Nice creek, good value for price

Maggie Valley is a great little getaway! The Ramada in right on the creek was very peaceful and centrally located! Great stay!

There were a lot of motor cycle riders and a truck carrying two bikes blocking the entrance. Maybe the owner could have navigated the bike riders to allow others access to the property without a lot of hassle.

One of the exits is blocked by shrubs and you can get hit trying to pull out of the parking lot

Close to Smoky Mountains. Quaint little town. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We had a view of the creek which was amazing from our balcony. We will definitely be coming back.

Room was clean and fresh, rest of property not up to Wyndham Ramada standards . No working ice machines in house, laundry room out of order. Breakfast was very disappointing, juice machine not working, had to chase down a staff member to refill all the hot items and milk pitcher. Just not what I expected from Ramada !

Stayed here for 5 nights while on a motorcycle trip. Staff was friendly, the balcony was great with a couple of rocking chairs. The hotel is cleanish~ fresh paint in a lot of areas but the walls and floors in the room weren’t the best like they don’t truly clean. But the beds are super comfy and AC was cold. Breakfast wasn’t good at all, no butter, no coffee (which I don’t get at all) and not much to pick from. I stayed 5 nights and never once had my room cleaned or bedding changed. Did get new towels once, Parking so super easy. Very very motorcycle friendly. But all in all, I will most likely stay at a different hotel next time I visit Maggie valley.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff. The only disappointment was the breakfast, eggs were full of water and sausage didn’t taste good. It wasn’t enough to keep us from staying there again.
