The best part was the cleanliness, everything was clean and I even got to do a small load of laundry and my clothes came out great. And if you get the chance I highly suggest using the free airport shuttle that they have to offer, I used it, saved money from using a taxi service and I arrived on time for my flight.

Since we had a round trip plane flight, the hotel's parking cost was reasonable and the shuttle service was more convenient than driving to a parking lot near the airport.

Stay was horrible !! They have roaches do not book this hotel !!! Everyone on the second floor was complaining .. couldn't stay the whole night .. had to book another hotel ! They only credit me $20 ! Go to another hotel ! DO NOT BOOK!!!!

Very clean well run hotel. No cigarette or marijuana smell at all…. Which is a refreshing change for hotels in this price range. The entire hotel grounds were spotless.

Smelled great but spilled a few drops of water on the floor then used a cloth to clean it up. The cloth turned black from the dirt on the floor. I was amazed that the floors had not been cleaned which made me question the remainder of the linens and etc

The room was clean the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a comfortable stay for the price. The only criticism I have is the lack of water pressure from the shower. But that was certainly a minor concern.

The room at first glance was dirty with stuff on the floors and trash in the trash cans. The window seat was stained and looked gross. The room smelled of mildew. The microwave looks busted on the keypad. The bathroom towels were shredded and had holes in the centers of them. Worst of all was the bed. The bed has large stains all over them varuinf from yellow to brown. And their were BUGS! Bugs in the bed that bit us just sitting there for five minutes. We were not even in the hotel room 30 minutes and left with multiple bed bug bites.

When we checked in to hotel and got to our room we checked the room for cleanliness. The towels in the bathroom were horrible. One had what looked like burnt holes from cigarettes and the other was so worn you could literally see right through it. We did get them replaced quickly with what looked like new towels. Even with the AC going it was warm in the room all night. The gas station beside the hotel was kinda sketchy. The outside needed some landscaping done badly. It could be a nice place but you can definitely tell it is an older hotel.

I was unpleasantly surprised. The room was quite small ... smacked my toes into the small refrigerator several times on the way to bed. It was quiet and comfortable (once in bed) except for the planes taking off around 5:00 but I expected that. It was in a good location for our visit.

The AC was not working in the first room. Had to be moved to another room. Which was extremely warm because AC had not been on previously. Took forever for room to cool down. Outlets did not work. Although I will say it was one of the cleaner hotel rooms we stayed at.

Cute little property. It was perfect for our quick two night stay. The walls are paper thin though so if you’re looking for peace and quiet this might not be your best bet. Staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Room was clean enough, but very small. Hotel was noisy due to being under flight path of flights landing at RDU airport. Mattress was unsupportive and not comfortable and noise from people walking around at night above us made it hard to sleep. See photo below for the condition of the bathmat towel! The rating for Microtel on the Hotels.com website was overly inflated; price was good but not worth the discomfort. We won't stay there again.

The floor in our room was uneven and slanted downwards in several spots. The sink was barely aligned in the wall. The breakfast was just waffles and a microwaveable burrito. There was no fruit or cereal options. My daughter did like the sitting area in the window and the room itself was clean. The alarm clock which had the only USB ports did not work. The outlets to plug in your phone with a port were too far from the bed with a normal phone cord length of 6ft. The pillows were too soft and felt like they weren’t even there.

Some of the property is a bit worn. Mt sink faucet was quite lose in my rm the first night. The other night I stayed, my toilet was almost under the bathroom counter..it was a tight squeeze to sit on. If staying more than one night I would have asked for another rm.

Room was fine. I understand why hotels want to group customers close together, but when the hotel is not even close to full, why put folks right next to each other?! My "neighbor" was quite noisy, and made the stay less enjoyable.

Staff member here will steal jewelry. Please beware and don't bring valuables. House keeping only cleaned room once during a 5 day stay and I had to request for the trash to be taken out even though it was left right outside the door the day before.

Conveniently located next to Airport and a Gas Station for snacks. DoorDash availablility was great too. Definitely a “fine” “hotel.” It wasn’t outstanding, just fair. Friendly staff (they speak little English). Room was fine. Breakfast said it would be ready by 5:30 am, which was perfect for our flight (we had to leave by 5:45 am. What did we find at 5:30? The only staff guy asleep in the office, no breakfast anywhere in sight. That was a huge bummer!

Convenient to the airport. Beds are comfortable! Towels are fluffy & soft. Room was showing some light wear around the edges, but clean. Parking was well lit. If you are a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. There are flight patterns right over the hotel! Didn't bother us, but it might some. Overall, great value!

For the price, it’s hard to complain. I’ve definitely stayed in worse. The staff was super friendly, and the price was very reasonable for booking something the day before my trip. My only complaints would be that the airport is extremely close, so we didn’t sleep much with the constant airplanes passing by. And the complimentary breakfast was definitely lacking compared to other hotels. All in all though, it’s a solid stay for the price! You get what you pay for! Would stay here again.

Clock radio not working. Went to front desk, they would not replace, said customers have cell phones! Asked about housekeeping, they said we only get it every 3 days. They provided only 1 tiny bar of soap, this is supposed to be for your sink AND shower and last for 3 days !!! Breakfast, sparse. Very poor coffee. Wafflemaker had no non stick spray, asked at front desk, they did not have any spray. So waffles stuck horribly and made a bad mess. Room very small and sparse, but bed was comfortable.

It’s directly in the path of one of the runways at RDU airport so it’s a bit noisy at times. Hotel itself is fine, good condition, clean, friendly staff, easy parking. Breakfast nothing to write home about but it is available.

Room was very clean and conveniently located near the airport. Only trouble was the interrupted sleep by all the flights taking off overnight. Continental breakfast was very limited and eating was in the lobby area, which was a little awkward. Overall good value.

The bed tilted back when you laid down on it. The shower curtain was torn. The breakfast was very limited. The had waffles that tasted burnt. The also had yogurt and juice. Will not be back.

Conveniently located next to Airport and a Gas Station for snacks. DoorDash availablility was great too. Definitely a “fine” “hotel.” It wasn’t outstanding, just fair. Friendly staff (they speak little English). Room was fine. Breakfast said it would be ready by 5:30 am, which was perfect for our flight (we had to leave by 5:45 am. What did we find at 5:30? The only staff guy asleep in the office, no breakfast anywhere in sight. That was a huge bummer!

When I first walked in I thought the property could use a facelift, but it was ok for what I needed (so I thought). When I got to my room, it was so tiny but again, it was just myself so no big deal. The “desk” was big enough to set a bag or a few drinks on because they had the microwave sitting there. The fridge was on the floor and again very small. The floor immediately in front of the AC unit felt like it was very soft and sunken in. The floor was soft in other parts of the room as well. The bathroom looked like it had been repaired but not completely updated. The water pressure was just “ok” but got the job done. Then, I kept feeling like something was crawling on me but after a few inspections I didn’t see anything ON the bed. THEN, i wake up to use the restroom at 0430 and when I turned the light on, a bug ran down the wall. I didn’t have my glasses on so I’m not sure what it was BUT any bug is a no in my book. I packed up and left asap! I should have listened to my intuition and left as soon as I walked in. The next time I just need to stay near the airport I’ll stay elsewhere and pay the extra. Not that it mattered to me but this hotel is right under the flight pattern. I use a sound machine so I didn’t hear much after 11pm. Just my 2 cents

Lets start with the overall: it was a great stay. We're a family a 4 that drove from MA to NC to visit extended family. For its intent and purpose, the room was a fantastic way to end the day. No frills, no extras needed. Just a shower and a bed. Why a 4 star? 1 particular day we had housekeeping enter the room when it wasnt requested. Though the room was booked for 4 people, we kept getting towels, soaps, etc for 3 people and had to keep asking for extra. The price and location for our travels (we went to many places such as Jacksonville, Mebane, etc) was excellent. The staff is nice. Will definitely book again.
