This was our second time staying at this property, and it was another amazing stay. Communication with owner is always top-notch, property is super clean, accommodations are accurate and meet our needs. The property is very close to the Swift Island Boat Ramp, and the property has plenty of parking for us to bring our boat. Excellent property!!

The house was beautiful inside. It was very clean and cozy . The beds were very comfortable. Teresa the host was very attentive and got back right away with us about any questions we had . We loved the game room in the basement. The pool in neighborhood is awesome with great view of lake! It’s such wonderful family atmosphere. We had very relaxing peaceful time and hope to go back again soon.

Wow! What a wonderful week. This home had everything we needed. It's small, but how much space do you need to relax? We loved the neighborhood, the public pool, the view from the back deck. Nice perks include high speed internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the basement along with pi g pong and foosball.

The property is well maintained and situated in a beautiful gated community with many scenic views and a nice swimming pool. The property owner was helpful and made sure our vacation went smoothly. There are many fun activities to do near by, as well. We hope to stay there again soon.

This was the perfect spot for me to relax on Mother's Day weekend and listen to my boys laughing and playing with each other on the lower level (they loved the ping pong table). The host responded quickly to my questions prior to the visit.

We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast.

The house was very nice overall and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was nice enough with a huge refrigerator. The internet was great. There were lots of deer around. The only issues I had were with the access through the entry gate from River Road. The community apparently put in a new electronic access system and the guest QR codes were not working. This only really became an issue when trying to return to the house at 10PM on a Sunday and there was no guard at the entrance to let me in.

We decided last minute to head down to the lake and luckily found this property was available. The host was incredibly responsive and supportive of our needs. Property is a perfect getaway, had feels of a mountain cabin with some cool features the kids loved! The community pool was nice and location to the lake is great! All around highly recommend!

We've stayed at a lot of nice VRBO's and this was the cleanest one ever! The winter-lake view was really relaxing and the home is a great layout for a family or multiple guests. Two full bathrooms were spacious and fully-stocked. A bonus is the downstairs finished basement featuring activities and several games. It was a blessing on a rainy day. The cottage is even cuter and more charming than the pictures and the beds very comfortable! The host was quick with communication and check in and out was easy.

Nice, clean and Cozy nice place to relax and close to nature. My family enjoyed coffee in the morning listening to the birds surrounded by trees. Fantastic stay, beautiful inside, comfortable beds and wonderful kitchen to cook in. However for privacy and sleeping in purposes, I’d suggest thicker curtains where a thin drape hangs(master bedroom and bath) and a curtain on the entrance door for privacy and security.

The location was excellent, gated community, very clean area. The house was well stocked and clean with a cool rec room downstairs. Plenty of water pressure and hot water enough for five people to shower and still not run out. Close to the town of Albermarle, only 15 minutes away, lots of restaurants and shopping options there. Teresa was very responsive and an excellent host!

We had an amazing time!!!! The house was spotless, the owner furnished a wonderful welcome book with so much informative info, a welcome basket full of goodies. I had teenagers and the downstairs game room was perfect!!!!! I would 100% recommend this Vrbo and stay again!!!!!!

Well decorated and maintained. The homeowner even had travel size necessities in case we forgot something (toothbrush, toothpaste, cereal, etc). She was very helpful in finding things to do and eat in the area! Highly recommended.

Great location and gorgeous surroundings and views! Property was very clean, everything worked as it should, nice upgrades in kitchen appliances, and excellent communication with the owner! Everything we needed to get started in the property was supplied and available. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy getaway on the lake! We will rent this again next year when we return to this lake for our fishing tournament.

The location was excellent, gated community, very clean area. The house was well stocked and clean with a cool rec room downstairs. Plenty of water pressure and hot water enough for five people to shower and still not run out. Close to the town of Albermarle, only 15 minutes away, lots of restaurants and shopping options there. Teresa was very responsive and an excellent host!

We stayed here for a Uwharrie National Forest/Morrow Mountain trip. The house was very clean and the host had plenty of basic supplies including a welcome basket. We highly recommend this as your next family vacation.

Wow! What a wonderful week. This home had everything we needed. It's small, but how much space do you need to relax? We loved the neighborhood, the public pool, the view from the back deck. Nice perks include high speed internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the basement along with pi g pong and foosball.

The property is well maintained and situated in a beautiful gated community with many scenic views and a nice swimming pool. The property owner was helpful and made sure our vacation went smoothly. There are many fun activities to do near by, as well. We hope to stay there again soon.

We took our niece, nephews and grandson away for a mini vacation and to celebrate my husband’s 62nd birthday. I highly recommend this beautiful home to stay in. Very quiet, clean and easy access to the lake, basketball courts and pool area. Unfortunately it was the wrong time of the year so the pool wasn’t open but it overlooks the lake and mountains surround you. Kids had a blast.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Escape. The house is located in a quiet area of the gated community. The house was clean and welcoming. There was a gift basket to welcome guests and plenty of towels and other necessities you might need. The kitchen was well stocked too. My children loved the game tables in the basement . It is close to many fun outdoor activities. We hope to come again soon. It was a wonderful and relaxing place for a vacation.

Our host had prepared the home with warm touches to make us feel welcome. The house was spotless, and comfortable, the wooded neighborhood was beautiful and perfect for walks. We ate all meals on the large deck. We immediately felt at home. Thank you for a delightful week-end!

The house was very clean and was in a great location! The host was very gracious and provided everything we needed (plenty of towels, suggestions on things to do in the area, games for the kids, etc.) My kids had a blast trying to locate all of the hidden fish around the house! I would definitely recommend staying here!

This was the second time we stayed... and it was all because it is an all around wonderful experience. Well stocked kitchen, lovely floor plan with very nice decor. Secluded and quiet but also very close to all the hiking and places we wanted to go. Host was very good at letting us know all the checkin details as well. 5 STARS!
