We enjoyed our stay at Best Western! It was clean, quiet with a salt water pool. Both Holden and Ocean Isle beaches were not far to travel too. We went to both of them. The staff and help were wonderful. The breakfast was an extra. I would recomnend Best Western!

Sharon, who checked us in, greeted us with a smile and suggestions to local places in the area. She explained in detail what the hotel offered and all the amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were so cozy. Pool was clean and perfect for kids. Breakfast was delicious and abundant.

During my stay, I was first welcomed with a warm greeting at the check-in desk. Upon receiving my keys (to the second floor), I entered my room and immediately noticed a small bug (roach) on the bathroom counter. After further inspection, there was hair from the previous guest in the shower along with another dead bug and the running water was brown. I was informed by front desk staff that prior work was being done to fix the water. And was relocated. I’ve stayed at this property before but not with this experience.

The staff was extremely helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The jetted tub really great! The one negative was the thin walls. All night we could hear people walking around above us and talking all around us, snoring, dropping things.... And the noise from the hallway was pretty loud.

This might have been the smallest possible room for two full beds -- the door barely missed the bed nearest when it was opened. The pool was amazing on a hot day, and the beach was right there. Tall people need to watch their heads in some areas.

The staff here is wonderful. From the check in to the lovely lady taking care of breakfast. The room was nice, but the shower was absolutely tiny. I mean, when I say tiny I mean like a shower in a 80s camper. Also, the pillows were awful. But other than that it was a great stay!

Well it is a nice hotel. But yall the bed frame sticks out so our shins took a beating just walking by the bed or going to get off the bed i smacked the side of my foot on the frame and the pillows fall in-between the mattress and the wall while sitting or sleeping. Also while in the bathroom heard a loud bang from the room next door and a guy yell from smacking his leg on the bed in his room. I knew it was the bed because he said damn bed afterwards super loud. It does hurt.

We were welcomed by Sharon upon our arrival. Her smile and happy, helpful energy were a pleasure to encounter after driving for 14 hours. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyed and Kate at the desk was again helpful. Great staff in this BW!

The front desk crew were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, the location was great for me and the cleaning crew were on top of everything, near as I could tell. The room was better than expected. The service was top notch and I will definitely repeat at this Best Western whenever I am in Shallotte.

Every one of the staff was friendly and helpful. Our TV stopped working and they offered to move our room and give us a discount. Only thing I could comment on improving was the carpet in the downstairs hallway. It was bunched up the entire length of the hall and a tripping hazard. Even so, I would definitely stay again!

Love this property, just 13 minutes from ocean isle beach and we were able to drive out 37 minutes to enjoy Myrtle beach attractions as well, very clean place and Waffle House was right next door and other fast food restaurants were across the street within 2 minute walking distance! I’d definitely recommend this place to stay and will be back!

The reason I stayed here was because it is the closest accommodation to the drive-in at Planet Fun. It's easy walking distance, almost within sight. I think it's somewhat over priced.

Upon walking through the door, we were greeted by a kind hostess. She seemed especially concerned with potentially spreading COVID and wore a mask and gloves while helping us. Ink pins at the desk were santized and separated from those used by other guests. The room was very clean and the staff were nice and considerate. Breakfast was absolutely DELICIOUS, served with fresh made waffles and whatever else one may fancy in the morning. Great stay!! Highly recommend

Have stayed before. The rooms are fine but I do have to say the free breakfast offered is somewhat to be desired or edible, and I do understand it is free but it truly seems as it is leftovers from days before. The biscuits were very hard, the eggs cooked to a crisp and the sausage swimming in whatever that would have been. The yogurt machine was good and they do have the waffle maker.

Have stayed before. The rooms are fine but I do have to say the free breakfast offered is somewhat to be desired or edible, and I do understand it is free but it truly seems as it is leftovers from days before. The front desk crew were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, the location was great for me and the cleaning crew were on top of everything, near as I could tell. The room was better than expected. The service was top notch and I will definitely repeat at this Best Western whenever I am in Shallotte.

The front staff were very polite and friendly. Check in was relatively quick as well. The room was clean and the bed comfortable for the most part. The carpet in the hall looked terrible though and there wasn't a whole lot of options for their free breakfast, nor did it look appealing. Their drink cooler was bare bones as well as their snack corner. Decent hotel overall but way overpriced for what they currently have.

My wife and I choose Best Western to celebrate our 25 year anniversary. We checked in Saturday night and as we exited the elevator on the second floor we knew it would be a bad night. The entire second level stunk from someone smoking weed. We called the front desk but nothing they could do. It got so bad it was coming in our room. We had a group in the room beside us that had they blasting and partied all night. The next night was better but the third night the weed smell was back. One morning the we went down to eat breakfast only to find a sign saying sorry no hot breakfast. The floor in the room was so dirty if you had white socks on they would turn brown just from walking on the floor. This morning we was going to eat breakfast and found that they only had one biscuit that was wrapped in plastic so we just said forget and left. What a disaster for our anniversary.

This is our go-to place when going to Ocean isle. This summer was our third time here, we went for the 4th of July and the place was very quiet, clean and just a short drive from the beach. Not sure if they've changed management, but the carpet was uneven, like pulled from the floor, I tripped on it a few times so not sure what was going on there. The staff was not as friendly as years ago and they had humidifiers all over the hallways. Ice machine worked well and I saw a few folks enjoying the gym. Check in took longer than usual eventhough my rooms were already paid- I want to assume the lady at the front desk was new. Overall this is a very decent hotel, cant beat the price for just a couple of nights in town.

This stay was perfect for an affordable beach trip. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The front desk staff was friendly, offered suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and even received and held my Amazon package. Our room was clean, the shower in the jacuzzi tub sweet was very small, I think if a person was obese they would not be able to use the shower. I do not know if regular rooms have larger showers, but ours was tiny. The hotel itself is probably not the most up to date, but for the price, I would stay again. The location made it easy to visit all area beaches.
