The hotel was ok to spend the night

It was dirty in the bathroom and the window didn't even shut all the way so you could hear all the traffic and the rain ... The headboard came off the wall at 2:30 am .. They gave us 1 towel to dry with.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel. The first time it was well enough that we came back. Melody at the front desk is fantastic. Requested a first floor room at time of booking due to recovering from a broken ankle. Melody wasn’t working when we checked in. The lady that checked us in gave us a second floor room and didn’t offer to switch us to a different size room. She didn’t get my signature, initials, car tag number nothing. She got a copy of my drivers license nothing more. Didn’t tell us pool hours, breakfast hours, checkout time or WiFi password. There are no elevators in this hotel. The room did not have an evacuation plan in case of fire or other emergency. I really don’t know how the hotel passed code inspections. When we got to the room the bathroom light would not work. We couldn’t call the front desk because the phone didn’t work. My husband went downstairs and told the lady at the desk. She said “I’ll try to get him up there to look at it tomorrow”. We used the bathroom by flashlight the entire weekend. Friday-Sunday Ice machine on second floor didn’t work. Halls smelled like marijuana. Breakfast was subpar. Juice machine only worked if you pressed the button multiple times. The lady that prepared the breakfast, cleaned etc was rude. Left a message for the manager when we checked out but it’s been 4 days and have not received a phone call.

The first room they gave me had wet, dirty towels on the bathroom floor and the ceiling valves were missing. The second room they gave me the refrigerator made so much noise. I had to unplug it. I could sleep with the noise and a lot of loud noise coming from the front desk at 11 o’clock at night.
