This hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from the Old Market and the airport. The rooms were large, but they felt dated. There was a vent in our ceiling that was hanging loosely, and not a lot of room in the bathroom. The highlight of this property was the shuttles! There were shuttles running to and from the airport and also one on weekend evenings to help you get around town. Special shoutout to Dennis, who gave us awesome recommendations and was an accommodating driver.

It was a good stay... parking is ok not greatest but ok. Pool need more tidying during day then it got ...not enough towels in area. Asked for towels from maid never recieved had to call clear to front desk twice once each night and wait dor them. Bht room good , bes comfortable, not to comfy pillows but very spacious bathroom. And 4.00 for bottle water is crazy. ( not customer friendly price)

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance of the Gene Leahy Park and the old downtown area. But they also provide shuttle service, which is awesome. We spent a lot of time waiting for the elevators, and I'd like to see a better selection on the restaurant menu, but overall, it was a good experience. The indoor pool was nice, but I love a hot tub, and that was missing.

It is centrally located. Staff are very nice and helpful. It was very bust the weekend we were there and some of the elevators were broken. It took forever to get up and down.

staff was very nice and everything was clean but the elevators stopped working so i had to walk down 11 flights of stairs or wait a very long time for the elevator plus the elevator got stuck so i woke up twice from alarms going off which was not pleasant

3 of 5 elevators where out. My 85 year old parents waited a long time for elevators. They took the stairs one time down because they waited for an empty elevator for 35 minutes. I carried suitcases up 5 flight because of elevator waiting time.

Great location. Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms with a view. Comfortable beds. We like their pool. But the pool room was VERY COLD this time. We still had goosebumps after an hour of playing and swimming in the pool.

When we got to our room there was no refrigerator. So the staff switched us to a different room which also had no refrigerator. They then had maintenance bring us a refrigerator. The lobby floor was littered with dead crickets. The elevators were not working and we had to climb the stairs to the 12th floor to get to our room. The next morning when everyone was checking out only one elevator was working so we had to wait over 20 minutes to get down to the lobby with our luggage.

I had the worst experience. Among arrival checked into my room dirty towels, used soap in bathroom. The rooms were very old had a smell. The rooms price were very high a night not to even have a refrigerator in the room. For this hotel to be downtown area I was very disappointed. They charged my room double on parking and charged me for water I didn't touch. I'll never go back there again!!!

No body wash,I had to use shampoo.The shower handle and bathtub faucet were falling off.I could only get hot or cold water,if I tried to put in the middle the shower head would only dribble out.Everything the bathroom was old,moldy and cheaply done.City Pub was expensive for what you got and it wasn’t all that great of food.Only thing pleasant was the staff

When we got there we had to wait after we were told we could check in early. That wasn’t bad but inconvenient. When we got to our room it was not the room we expected at all. We were told we had a seperate living room from the bedroom but we just had one big room. The bathroom had black mold above the sink, the tub looked as though it had been painted and the paint around the drain was coming off pretty bad. We were told that we would have a large bathroom which also was not the case. The bed was like sleeping on a cot because it was so hard. The lining around the bed was coming off. The furniture was very dated. The table had exposed wood because it was so old. The mini fridge smelt bad…. It was really disappointing because the rest of the hotel was very nice. I have stayed at a few double trees and this one by far was the worst one. I guess I will go back to the embassy suites from now on. I would not recommend this hotel.

Not worth the money. The cookies they gave us must have been a week old! Shower had mold growing in the grout of the tile. The furry orange kind! Bathroom was dirty. Showe handle was broken and could not get the shower to turn on. Carpets were stained. Only had two paper cups in the room on new years eve and was told thats all they had. Could not even open our champagne for a toast! Breakfast was $18 for basically a continental breakfast. Website said there was a bar/lounge on site only to be told they decided to close early. Do not stay here, there are much better hotels in the Old Market.

T v went out took an hour to fix it Found a small jar of marijuana down beside the bed dirty wash rag behind the towel in the bathroom. And I went to take a shower the next morning. The Shower would not drain. Had to switch rooms to shower. Showersshower will drain, wouldn't drain?

The room was hot even thought I set it 64. The tub was clogged, water up to my shins. Said they would have maintenance come and fix it while we were out but they didn't. It was really busy, elevators weren't working. People were stuck in one for awhile

The staff was very nice and helpful, especially Branisha. The hotel had a lot of people staying there, yet there was only 1 elevator in service the entire time we were at the hotel. We had long waits to go up and down. We had the room next to the elevator and it was loud causing difficulty sleeping. Our room did not have a good AC unit. It was hot in the room throughout our stay. The room also smelled like cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking floor. We only had hot water. We had no old water at the sink to brush our teeth and had to use the bottled water which I was charged for even though I am a Hilton honors member. Not a good experience at all.

The staff was fantastic! The rooms could have used a mini fridge, or even more working ice machines on each floor (we tried 5 different floors. But otherwise, it was clean enough, people were great, and we had a great stay. Thank you!

It was a good experience for the most part. Loved the size of the room with having kids. Didn't like having to pay for parking each day or that you don't get complimentary breakfast. Definitely not worth what they charged per person either. On the other hand they do have a Starbucks in the lobby would have been even cooler if the barista stayed in eyes view of the register to serve. Ended up having to get coffee after we checked out and left. All the front desk ladies were super nice and helpful though! If you're a first time visitor like we were note that's the hotel is DOWNTOWN and basically all the roads are one ways. Our GPS actually took us to floor one but the lobby is floor two which threw us for a loop.
It was a good experience for the most part. Loved the size of the room with having kids. Didn't like having to pay for parking each day or that you don't get complimentary breakfast. Definitely not worth what they charged per person either. On the other hand they do have a Starbucks in the lobby would have been even cooler if the barista stayed in eyes view of the register to serve. Ended up having to get coffee after we checked out and left. All the front desk ladies were super nice and helpful though! If you're a first time visitor like we were note that's the hotel is DOWNTOWN and basically all the roads are one ways. Our GPS actually took us to floor one but the lobby is floor two which threw us for a loop.

Mackenzie & Michelle(?) at the front desk, Dennis the shuttle driver, the ladies who worked the breakfast buffet, & the bartender/server at the bar/grill were all very friendly & provided excellent customer service. The only qualms we had were with the condition of our room & the establishment overall. Considering the Hilton/Doubletree reputation, we were surprised by the condition of our room. There is a definite need for this property to be renovated. In our room, the wall had wallpaper paste all over it. The carpet was frayed at the entry way to the room. In the bathroom, the grout in the shower was black & the exhaust fan was half hanging out of the ceiling. The shower was difficult to use & the water only came out very hot. The dresser in our room had a lot of scratches & a chunk missing out of it & one of the bedside lamps had a lot of chips in it. We were also disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Considering the price ($18 per person), the selection wasn't spectacular & most of the food that was supposed to be hot was barely warm or even cold. Given the price per night along with the additional charges of parking, breakfast, etc. we were just disappointed. There isn't an enclosed walkway from the parking garage to the hotel, which in the winter is a bummer. I don't think we will stay at this location again because of the cost & condition. We've stayed at hotels (even motels) that have cost less per night & were much better quality.

The location was awesome! Being right downtown and in the middle of everything could not be beat! I felt that the price was well worth the location and the overall quality of the room. The only complaints would be, there was no mini refrigerator and microwave was broken. It had the cabinet for refrigerator, but it was empty when you opened it. So we couldn't store any leftover foods from the restaurants we visited and also had to warm up food in the downstairs lobby. However, it really wasn't a huge deal. Great location. Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms with a view. Comfortable beds. We like their pool. But the pool room was VERY COLD this time. We still had goosebumps after an hour of playing and swimming in the pool.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. I really appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness during my stay. However, I would advise caution if you plan on walking around the surrounding area at night, as it felt a bit unsafe. Despite that, I still enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.

Even though I payed through Expedia the front desk lady ran my card for the full amount. I’m still waiting for the pending charge to drop off of my card. I also felt like the staff was ok. They never seemed happy to help. More just obligated. No experience felt warm.

Not good service at front desk. Called me at 11pm to talk about a $6 charge and said I had to come down now to front desk, even though I had given my charge card when I checked in , a nd was told they would keep a $50 open charge for any incidentals. Also got a call at 10:45 pm from front desk that was a mistake. When I called for room service I was told there is no room service today. I went down to front desk and asked why, and was told, of course we have room service today. So I think that was front desk manager and she got me room service. I would not stay there again. Very disappointed in a Hilton property. Absolutely no amenities in room, not even a clock, but there was soap and shampoo.

Okay everyone who stays here knows this property is in need of updating, revamping, and an overhaul. The location can't be beat. The rates are great too. But by far the best thing about this hotel is the customer service. Front desk agents Justina and Nautica were absolutely fabulous.....genuinely kind, professional, helpful, accommodating, with great attitudes. Mrs Marquardt these women are a huge asset to your hotel and operation. I travel often with work so I'm hard to impress. Shout out to Greg the shuttle driver as well. While there are other nicer hotels in the area I will keep coming back to the DoubleTree Hilton when in town because of the outstanding customer service and staff.

Staff were amazing, great customer service at the front desk and the hotel bar. The rooms size was good and seemed well maintained and clean. Common areas were also very well kept. The beds were a bit soft for my liking, but that is really the only negative. They should maybe work on an alternative to giving everyone plastic water bottles at check-in, but it is nice to get cookies and a drink when arriving.

We had no heat until 11pm on the first night. Front desk refused us blankets. I asked for a different room and was denied. We were brought a space heater that was plugged into a broken outlet that would not be approvedby the state Fire Marshall. Toilet was not working properly. Then no hot water until the following day. Room was dirty with food remnants from previous occupents. Terrible customer service from front desk. So first 8 hours, no heat, then 22 hours wothout hot water. Absolutely not acceptable. I was also charged more than my reservation was for.

This hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from the Old Market and the airport. The rooms were large, but they felt dated. There was a vent in our ceiling that was hanging loosely, and not a lot of room in the bathroom. The highlight of this property was the shuttles! There were shuttles running to and from the airport and also one on weekend evenings to help you get around town. Special shoutout to Dennis, who gave us awesome recommendations and was an accommodating driver.

No body wash,I had to use shampoo.The shower handle and bathtub faucet were falling off.I could only get hot or cold water,if I tried to put in the middle the shower head would only dribble out.Everything the bathroom was old,moldy and cheaply done.City Pub was expensive for what you got and it wasn’t all that great of food.Only thing pleasant was the staff

Always top notch customer service on every visit. The front desk staff always keeps you informed, very friendly, proffessional customer service agents. The restaurant breakfast buffet is top notch. And this year i tried the bar in the hotel and had a reuben sandwhich with fries. It was so yummy and delicious. Can't wait till I book my next stay with your great hotel.

We were driving through Omaha and got in to the hotel around 4pm. We had been driving since 5am that morning. I did not know that the restaurant in the hotel was closed on Sunday's. There is no convenient restaurant's in the area and going back out in the car to find one was not an option for us. The hotel is not convenient off of I-80 and I probably would not use it again.

Not worth the money. The cookies they gave us must have been a week old! Shower had mold growing in the grout of the tile. The furry orange kind! Bathroom was dirty. Showe handle was broken and could not get the shower to turn on. Carpets were stained. Only had two paper cups in the room on new years eve and was told thats all they had. Could not even open our champagne for a toast! Breakfast was $18 for basically a continental breakfast. Website said there was a bar/lounge on site only to be told they decided to close early. The hotel itself was fine and the meeting rooms were perfectly fine. However, I noticed the first morning that there was no hot or even warm water in the bathroom sink. I showered the night before and knew there was hot water, but after letting the sink run for 20 minutes, it finally went to luke warm enough to wash my face. I responded to a hotel text and let them know the situation. I got the runaround and the response suggested that I didn't know which was hot versus cold taps. Ultimately they said they would send engineering to investigate. The next morning the same thing happened and after letting the tap run for 30 minutesfinally got luke warm water. This time I called the front desk and they said again they would send engineering to my room. The problem was NOT in my room but the clerk acted surprised to hear that there was no hot water. The hotel water heaters cannot handle the number of guests they are booking and since it was pervasive throughout the hotel, all of us were getting the runaround from the staff which was very annoying and no help. Lack of comfortable water temps definitely impacted the comfort of the stay. The other issue with this hotel was that several of the elevators were out of service and the operational ones were v-e-r-y slow. Would I recommend this hotel to others...no.
The hotel itself was fine and the meeting rooms were perfectly fine. However, I noticed the first morning that there was no hot or even warm water in the bathroom sink. I showered the night before and knew there was hot water, but after letting the sink run for 20 minutes, it finally went to luke warm enough to wash my face. I responded to a hotel text and let them know the situation. I got the runaround and the response suggested that I didn't know which was hot versus cold taps. Ultimately they said they would send engineering to investigate. The next morning the same thing happened and after letting the tap run for 30 minutesfinally got luke warm water. This time I called the front desk and they said again they would send engineering to my room. The problem was NOT in my room but the clerk acted surprised to hear that there was no hot water.
