Howard Johnson by Wyndham Blackwood Near Philadelphia

This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at! Definitely would recommend to families or someone looking for a quick good nights sleep. Pool was not open, due to it not being after Memorial Day (which was fine). But breakfast was good and staff was very friendly!

The room was fine for the money. Huge bathroom and private balconies were pluses. The fire alarm that went off for no reason at 5:00 a.m. was not.

Room was clean had been updated. Spacious and they were doing repairs around the hotel. Nice selection for the morning breakfast of food.

Staff was friendly and or professional. Breakfast was decent. Air-conditioning was decent. We asked for a room with two double beds and ended up with a disabled room, and the bathroom was a nightmare with the motion sensor that would turn on the fan every time you went into the bathroom and even if you turned off the fan, it would turn back on. The bathroom was way too large and freezing. It’s a two star motel-like place, so it’s very no-frills, but a bit overpriced for what you get. Thankfully the bed and pillows were comfortable. We would stay here again, but we would get a regular room and on a higher floor so that we don’t smell people’s pot smoking outside.

Our room was nice but it had a few minor issues. My bed was squeaking a little. I hear my neighbor making noise but luckily it was quiet after 10pm. Otherwise it was a good hotel for the money.
