Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Meadowlands Area by IHG

We booked this stay for 2 nights. On our first night our AC didn’t work and asked to moved rooms. Going into the second room, we had the same issue with the AC and were moved AGAIN. After finally being in a room with a working AC, our key didn’t work to get into our room. The only way to open the door was to continuously try to swipe the card to enter the room. We booked in hope for a pool and gym and last minute we were informed (by the website) they were doing renovations and were closed. Not impressed. -1/10.

The hotel is generally good, located close to the American Dream Mall and public transportation to NYC. However, the rooms are not very soundproof, and we can hear all the noise from outside. The breakfast is the average.

Breakfast was decent, several options with staff busy refilling the whole morning. Easy location close to America Dream mall and MetLife Stadium. Rooms were as advertised, average and clean. Parking lot is small but adequate and well lit at night. Pool was small but still enjoyable enough with a couple other families there as well.
