Homewood Suites by Hilton Newark-Cranford

Access to the hotel can be a bit tricky, due to the many one-way streets in the surrounding area. However, this is beyond the hotel’s control and not a reflection of its management. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. One area for improvement would be the air conditioning system, which is somewhat noisy and could benefit from an update. Overall, it’s a solid place to stay.

The ac kept the room cool The ktchen was very nice, there were dishes, microwave and nice sized refeiger. There was mot housekeeping overnight and no to address those needs overnight.

Setting is very dated, no streaming/smart TVs. Kinda boring spot. Lobby is nice. Staff was nice but that's about it.

Upon checkout I saw on my Guest Folio that I was charged $21.33 for the "Suite Shop." I have no idea what this charge was for and neither did the person who checked me out today at 6 am I demanded a refund of said charges and was told that it would be looked into and reversed and an email sent to me.
