Everything was good. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was nice. The lobby is great and we were allowed to hang out down there past 11 pm which was nice. The front desk smelled heavily of marijuana to the point of making me cough when I walked in and out and we eventually had headaches from it, but we were only there For a second as we would come and go and wait for the elevator. It would be a super place to stay if they offered breakfast with the stay, but all in all, it was a nice, friendly , convenient t place to stay. Shopping and dining are very close !

Changed rooms pubic hair in dirty bathroom next room was not much better hair in bed glass wrapped laying out minus glass 1 wash cloth shower floor was dirty put a towel down to stand on in shower just not up to Marriott standards. Won’t ever stay there again

The room wasn't cleaned properly. The shower floor felt disgusting. The guest staying above my room walked with heavy feet, it sounded like he/she was going to come through the ceiling. It's nothing the hotel could do about it but it was extremely irritating. Luckily, I was only there for one night.

The room next to us played TV/gaming so loud that we could hear every word through the wall and in the hallway starting 8pm when we arrived. We called the desk at 11:15 to complain but nothing changed. This went on until past 3am at which point we went to the front desk. No one took substantial action. No one offered to move us. No one offered to compensate us in any way. Our entire night’s sleep was completely disrupted and the staff was very much aware of the issue. For these reasons, we could not possibly recommend this hotel. There were posters up bragging about their striving for excellent customer experiences, but took no action to remedy the problem they were very much aware of. This ranks right at the top of the worst overnight stays in our lifetime. Barring this disaster and the utter failure of their customer commitment, the facility was reasonably priced and very clean.

We stayed here on the last leg of our week long vacation. Very welcoming staff. Room was excellent—in the morning we ordered coffees and when we tried to pay were told they were on the house and to have safe travels..what an awesome start to our day!

I had an unpleasant experience with the staff during my recent stay. The receptionist's demeanor was unwelcoming, giving the impression that guests were not valued. I had initially reserved a King size room through Hotels.com, but upon arrival, I was assigned a Queen room without prior notification. When I realized the discrepancy and approached the front desk for clarification, the receptionist was dismissive. She informed me that no King rooms were available and bluntly suggested that if I was dissatisfied, I could choose to leave. This led to a situation where I felt compelled to contact the authorities for assistance.

en las mañanas de las 2 noches que me hospede , la persona a cargo de losndesayunos fue muy grosera y no nos atendio , simplemente o quizo darnos desayunos apesar que estabamos dentro del horario de servicio. muy decepcionado. No lo recomiendo. In the mornings of the 2 nights that I stayed, the person in charge of the breakfasts was very rude and did not attend to us, simply or wanted to give us breakfasts even though we were within service hours. very disappointed. I do not recommend it

Cristy was very welcoming and made me feel at home. She called me in my room after I checked in to make sure everything was ok. She is a shining star. I did find the dining area to be very dark and the menu very limited. But overall, a great stay.

We arrived at 11:30 PM after a long drive to learn that the hotel was oversold and that no rooms were available for us. The front desk clerk who was clearly frustrated called a couple of close by Marriott properties but they only had King rooms. We were looking for a room with 2 queens. Fortunately, the Hampton Inn next door had room available and we had a terrific stay there. Friendly and professional staff, comfortable rooms, and an excellent breakfast. I’ve stayed at many a Marriott before and this had never happened. Do better.

When we arrived on 10/10, the front desk representative advised me that the hotel was completely booked and there were no rooms available with a pullout sofa bed. Keep in mind that I booked the room primarily because it had a sofa bed. So I told her that we would have to figure something out. Later that same evening, there was a male front desk representative who was more than happy to accommodate my request for a room with a sofa bed! When we arrived on 10/10, the front desk representative advised me that the hotel was completely booked and there were no rooms available with a pullout sofa bed. Keep in mind that I booked the room primarily because it had a sofa bed. So I told her that we would have to figure something out. Later that same evening, there was a male front desk representative who was more than happy to accommodate my request for a room with a sofa bed! Was under the impression that breakfast was included in the price of the stay. It was not, but there were plenty of other options to eat at in the area. A microwave in the room would have also been a nice option. Other than that, we really liked the hotel and our room.

Cristy was very welcoming and made me feel at home. She called me in my room after I checked in to make sure everything was ok. She is a shining star. I did find the dining area to be very dark and the menu very limited. But overall, a great stay.

USB ports for recharging devices did not work. It took a very long time for hot water to get to our room. We made reservations for 5 people, but the desk lady would only give us 2 towels. No channel guide in the room. The breakfast lady was excellent, as well as the food preparation and presentation. She was very helpful.

Liked that is clean and quiet. Has Starbucks coffee in the morning. No evening bar or kitchen open due to staff shortages. Told is hasn't been open for more than a month

This hotel was in the right spot for our long weekend in Dayton. No drive was more than 20 minutes in any direction, with plenty of places to eat right down the road. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, (a little too firm for my taste) but was still better than most I’ve been at. Friendly staff, with easy checkout made the experience more enjoyable.

We have stayed at numerous Marriott Courtyards over the years and found a consistent level of quality. Unfortunately, the north Dayton location fell just a bit short. The staff member who checked us in was somewhat pleasant and said all the right words but never once made eye contact. The room was clean (clean sheets and towels) but the bed looked like someone decided to take a little break after it was made. We went down for breakfast in the morning and found 7 pastries in a case and not the typical layout with other breakfast items. Two staff members were engaged in a focused conversation making it obvious they didn't want to be disturbed. I am not shy about being heard when needed, in this case, I didn't want to start off my day in a negative way. Upon leaving, I presented my keycards to which the staff member thanked me for staying at Marriott; again, no eye contact. The hotel was clean enough, plenty of food options in the surrounding area, and a good price. All I'm really saying is don't expect it to be as nice as other Courtyards

Christy was so friendly and very fast checking in. Even being short staffed at front desk, she was great and polite. Clean hotel, comfortable bed, very spacious room. Our room was 1 away from the elevator and was very quiet.
