Staying in this hotel while on biz trip I'd expect to be as less as troubled/bothered by even little tiny flaws ... The fact I have indicated the general experience as "Pleasing" indicates there have been certain flaws, for example: The general light in the room is very low, I guess they're using low consumption bulbs, in particular in the bathroom (I had to ask to replace the bulbs above the sink/mirror), on night #2 the bulb above the shower turned off completely and the next day the staff replaced it, breakfast was very good, staff was very king and responsive to my requests, On check-in I got surprised when notified they'd charge extra $5 for parking over night but eventually they didn't, perhaps because I expressed my resentment, I did not like they said they'd do my room only upon my specific request - on biz trip I want my hotel to do my room daily for the duration of my stay --- By and large it was pretty pleasant staying in this hotel yet one might want verifying these little tiny flaws (to my taste) up front ...

Easy check in and check out. Professional welcoming staff at the front desk. Excellent housekeeping services with everyday cleaning and fresh linens. Good free breakfast every morning. Lots of free convenient parking right in front of the hotel. Easy to get in and out on to the New Jersey turnpike and access state highways and other roads. Well connected and centrally located in New Jersey. Great value for money!

Fridge in the room didn't work. Noisy children running up abd down the halls. Breakfast was very good. Limited parking spots due to construction trailers.

Everything was provided for a good stay. Service was good and breakfast ok. Only problem was the exercise machines in the gym needed a tune up.

Pool was moldy, and parking is very small hard time finding parking. Other than that room are clean, area is nice. It is convenient

Tiles around pool were slippery. Could use double Banisters by pool steps. It would make it safer and easier to get in and out of the pool,

The only bad thing is the pool, people come to teach and treat you badly

Comfortable bed. Good breakfast Nice Staff.. Swimming Pool needs care and attention handicap seat is rusted , Paint is chipping around the pool.

The pool was heated then turned cold .. housekeeping comes late in the day .. it appears to be under new management and it was obvious

Dingy and cleanliness issues - found multiple stains on sheets and hair on pillow upon check in.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I just didn’t complain because we arrived so late at night after driving for 12 hours. So just wanted to sleep.

Worst rooms! Smelled bad but they helped to clean but still it’s an old one with no ventilation

the whirlpool was good, breakfast great for me. I was told I had a couch with a pullout bed when checking in, I didn’t. And they had no cots available. The smell of marijuana permeated the inside area, at least second floor.

Left something to be desired but it was fine. The room had a strong musty smell as soon as we walked in that either got better with time or I just got used to it. The hotel shows it’s age. When I was leaving I noticed a small pile of dead bugs in the corner which was concerning! But overall I’d just call it “fine”. In MY OPINION there’s not much around except the Amtrak station and it’s certainly not walkable. If heaven forbid you have to go to New Jersey for some reason this is an okay place to stay.

Very nice hotel, great location. Staff was very helpful and professional. The only issue I had was the Wi-Fi which was absolutely awful. Would stay there again.

The property needs a little love and upgradings. Not very sound proof. We could hear our neighbours through the walls. Staff were pleasant. Dining options very limited.

Place was clean but it was very very hot even with the windows open; and it was a very cold day but there was no way to regukate the heat or AC. Very disappointed about that, other wise i think it was ok.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone. From the moment I walked in, the front desk guy was extremely rude and threatening. He immediately started harassing me, warning me that I would be kicked out if I drank or partied upstairs—simply because I looked young. I’ve never felt more unwelcome at a hotel. The breakfast was another disappointment. The food was undercooked and unappetizing. It was clear that no effort had been made to ensure the quality or taste of the meals. The pool was equally awful. The chlorine levels were so high that it was unbearable. You could smell the overwhelming stench of chemicals as soon as you entered the hotel, and anyone who stepped near the pool started coughing uncontrollably. It was more like a chemical bath than a place to relax. To top it off, the front desk guy was giving me dirty looks the whole time, acting like he was somehow superior to me. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and definitely not the kind of experience I was hoping for. Overall, my stay was miserable, and I wouldn’t return here even if it was free. Stay far away from this place if you want a pleasant and comfortable experience.

There was no available 2 queen beds in the property when we checked in. We were moved to residence inn nearby but was given a king bed and sofa bed as they don't have 2 queen beds either. We were told by the manager on duty that we don't have to pay any extra fees for the transfer but my credit card was charged $536.44 . I informed both the front desk and their manager and was told that they are going to fix it and asked my email too. I hope they don't double charge me for this inconvenience.

I left something in room and nobody called me to see if I left it.

Clerk had no record of my reservation and no rooms available. I had to book a room at other hotel

I had to get two sets of card keys replaced. Staff on duty was not to concerned . He wasn’t the one inconvenienced. I asked Saturday morning staff about the lobby coffee ( there wasn’t any ). I was told to wait until breakfast. Or go back to my room and make it. What happened to the staff helping a guest ( lazy staff )

The room we received (1 king bed) was not what we reserved for 4 people (2 queen beds). Upon speaking with the front desk I was told there are no other available rooms and that this happens all the time with their system. Additionally another member of our party (3 families traveling together) had to be moved to a different hotel because they over booked (again something they said happens as a resultnof their system) and did not have a room for them.

The air conditioner in the original room that we booked sounded like it was going to explode. Miguel was super nice about it and we were able to switch rooms.

The hotel is clean and well managed. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

The stay was short but good. The front desk lady was very kind and courteous. I stayed earlier too in this hotel and it was always great pleasure.

It was very clean, quiet property and easy access to the freeway

It's fairly secluded to a business district, so no walking dinner choices. But otherwise very good.

Location is pretty terrible, but the hotel was perfectly fine. Clean room, friendly staff, easy parking. Good for the price

Close to the NJ Turnpike

This Holiday Inn Express was really good. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. They offer free breakfast which was great! We chose this hotel because it was easy to get to nearby NJ Transit stations to go to NYC. Highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here again.

The exit off the turnpike was tricky, otherwise, the desk attendant was pleasant and our stay was non eventful.

Hotel was being renovated. Breakfast was decent with several hot selections, cereal , danish.

The room was old. They put me on a floor under construction. The shower was decent. Bed was decent. The breakfast was slightly below average.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The breakfast is simple but good enough. I really like the pancakes, fruits, yogurt and chocolate milk.

Breakfast was not as advertised. Food labeled as “egg white and veggie omelette” was actually just scrambled egg whites no Veggies in sight. Scrambled eggs tasted like hard boiled egg yolks. Watered down apple juice. Pancake machine was “out of order”. Cheap shortcuts made the food/juice bad quality. We picked this hotel because breakfast was included and we ended up having to still spend money after leaving to get breakfast. Lint, dust, and hair found in the actual room.

I arrived pretty late because my plane was delayed and the lady at the front was very welcoming and the breakfast the next morning was great and had everything you could ask.

Comfy, clean room, and able to check in early. Great breakfast

The breakfast was surprisingly great, try the hot cinnamon rolls. Room was clean, all basic amenities covered. Friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for more from a basic hotel stay.

The bathroom had mildew, the treadmill didn’t work, the elliptical was broken, the TV didn’t work well due to weather, and the breakfast was horrible. I suspect the pancake machine was “out of order” so the staff didn’t have to clean it. The ice machine on the first floor didn’t work, there wasn’t one on the second floor. With the exception of the front desk staff I don’t think any of them speak.

Front desk people very friendly, decent room, excellent breakfast with good choices and dining area was kept immaculate.
