I didn't like the fact that there was no reference to the lack of an elevator in the description or I would have been sure to request a ground floor. I used the hotel for an overnight on my way to NYC for surgery for a knee replacement. I had to check in at 6AM.

Was a quick overnight stop, room was large and clean. Breakfast was good. My only criticism would be there was no lift which might be an issue.

Really enjoyed the hot tub and the room overall was very good

The jetted tub in the room was amazing.

Good stay, nice room and staff. No elevator though. Also had no luck getting refund on one night less stay- frustrating but I went through a 3rd party booking

This was a wonderful hotel - far quieter than I expect since it is on a highway. During immense summer heat, the A/C was on, awaiting my arrival making the room comfortable from when I first opened the door. The only drawback to this hotel is there is no elevator. Lugging luggage up and down a long flight of stairs was an added chore.

No elevator. We are too old to be carrying luggage up to the second floor. In our 70s. Saw a young couple come in with a baby, two little kids, luggage ,stroller , etc and proceed to carry everything up the stairs at 9:00 at night. Other than that great ratings on everything.... Need a bell boy or an elevator.

They need to advertise CLEARLY that they don’t have an elevator. My 90 year old mom had to walk all the stairs!!

The male man in the reception wasn't very nice at arrival. They must have a better person there The next day there were other at the reception who was much nicer. Also no elevator to the second floor when you have heavy suitcases.

Super clean and smelled good. The remote was having some trouble but otherwise amazing. Love the wood floors. Bed could be a little more comfortable. Nice and newly renovated.

Just a quick overnight for a wedding, but check-in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, and surprisingly hotel was very quiet during our stay. Exactly what we needed for a quick stay.

I rated a 2 because of the cleanliness of the room I found hair knot on the floor, the shower curtain was dirty. A little be of dust and the room smelled like wet towels.

Frieindly staff and clean rooms

Very clean, good size room. Happy, friendly staff, especially since they were working on Christmas. The common areas were pristine. I did not try the breakfast, but the coffee was good. I was very comfortable, and felt safe considering we were a late check in. Excellent value for your dolar.

Hotel is nice, right off the highway. Very clean, large rooms. Unfortunately the hotel is doing construction, and at 7am we woke up to an enormous, noisy crane directly outside our window. This put a damper on my whole day. I wish that the hotel had forewarned us of the construction.

Good hotel, kind staff, clean rooms. The water pressure on the sink was a little low and the walls were somewhat thin we could hear the staff cleaning in rooms several doors down having conversations. Also traveling to and from this location requires a LOT of coordination, but there is a Red Lobster right next door and in driving distance to a nice mall.

Good rates. Convenient to Paramus. Terrible WiFi. Very unreliable. I stayed here for at least 10 days and I mentioned that it needs fixing. I had to walk down to Starbucks for a reliable connection

Newly renovated room. Very clean. Great value.

Location is great if you have a car. It’s right near the intersection of two major highways, and right next to the parkway as well. You can drive to NYC easily, or take a bus from the mall that’s a few minutes away. Clean room, spacious suite, amenities were available. The lotion was actually pretty good lol. Only complaint is the shower curtains. Seems like hotels love these cloth feel curtains that move a lot while showering. Water went everywhere. Pressure on the shower was amazing though! Would stay again just because it was so quiet. Sometimes you need a break from everything!

The rooms are very small and not very comfortable. The views on the first floor are of the parking lot.

This hotel is very pleasant for the price. The rooms are small, but the space is utilized very well. I loved the shelving unit and the way you could put your stuff on it as opposed to just having a flat desk which is kind of useless. The bed was very nice and comfortable and high-quality. Everything was just fine.

The gentlemen that checked us in , Kishan, not sure of the spelling, was very Helpful and did everything to make our stay a good one. We needed a first floor room and he made that happen. Bravo to him.

In town to visit family. Arrived really early on a Red Eye at Newark airport. Got to the hotel around 8am. Way too early to check in. Asked if we could get in early if at all possible. Was told, "they would have a room by 1 for sure" We were then invited to have breakfast since we were there. An hour later, the young man at the front desk told me he had a room for me. WOW! What a treat and very welcome, because we were dead tired. FANTASTIC SERVICE! They saved our butts.Thank you ,thank you...

I came here with a baby on my arms at 3am after a new year’s celebration , specifically to have a peacful night and not drive home at night. I reserved the room well in advance. I also checked in online couple of hours prior me coming in. They messed up and it turned out the gave my room to someone else. Someone literally came and sign a paper with my name on top of that paper. That means if that person ate something or got something from a hotel , it couldve ended up on my card. They did not ask their ID! And the front desk guy refused to wake them up saying it was a middle of the night. And we were standing with baby in the middle of the night. The guy could not give me another room for like 40 minutes. He gave me a different room but with one bed. And we needed two beds. Needless to say we had sleepless night. I complained to a manager over the email. He never replied. They cared about customers who signed without ID under my name but they could care less about us with a baby. No words.

The staff checked me in, and then checked in someone else into my room. So im sitting in my room and people open the door and walk right in. I checked out immediately after being there for less than 15 minutes and was refused a refund.

Staff is friendly and most accommodating.

Extremely rude front desk worker when checked in.

Checking in was great; as this was our second time staying at your establishment. We were greeted by the same staff who checked us in the last time. She was very welcoming, just like the last time. Unfortunately; a few hours after we checked in; my boyfriend and I had to check out, because there we had an emergency. When we went downstairs to check out, the staff who checked us in must have left for the night. The staff who was there was on his cell phone and barely acknowledged us when I told him we were checking out early because of an emergency with our kids. He was very inattentive. He did not even stop what he was doing on his phone. It seemed like, he was on a FaceTime call. He just said, you're all set. We had a question to ask and chose not to ask him; because he clearly wanted to get back to his phone.

Only thing that is not good about this hotel is getting in and out. It is directly connected to the cars coming in from a highway. Very dangerous to getting in and out of the parking lot. Other than that, everything else was great including a friendly reception crew!

Staff is great! Good breakfast lots of options. AC is quiet that’s what I love. Location was a little challenge as it is along the highway, one can easily miss the entrance and you need to reroute.

Great Hotel very clean and great service The only negative was trying to get in at the drive way

The Best Western in Paramus was located right next to a very busy noisy highway, which made driving convenient. I could see an interesting shopping center on the other side of the highway, but it would take 5 minutes to get there by car, and be impossible on one's feet, so it was conducive to getting work done. The hotel was quite adequate, and had everything I needed- free breakfast, and WiFi.

Convenient location on the major highway, clean and quiet with some basic amenities (fridge, microwave). Good place to get a rest overnight when traveling distances.

The outside of this hotel makes you question what the inside will look like, but I was pleasantly surprised as we walked in. It looked very well kept from the lobby to the dining area to the room we stayed in. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not the worst. The breakfast options were very good for free breakfast (eggs - scrambled & boiled, oatmeal, waffles with kid friendly toppings, crispy bacon, cereal, juice, coffee & more). There were a couple of reviews that spoke of how they didn't like how close this property is to the major highway. We've stayed in other hotels on NJ-17 whwre this property is located before & never had problems so we figured we would be fine; HOWEVER, we had no idea what these reviews were talking about until we actually experienced it. As you approach the entrance to the property you have to cross over a merging lane of cars entering NJ-17 from the NJ TPKE. The entrance is a short 200ft away from the exit. For this reason I will not stay again despite all of the positives.

Nice location close to NYC and the Meadowlands

Clean, modern, well equipped rooms with desk and office chair, plenty of convenient places to pkug in devices. Refrigerator witg freezer, microwave. Quality breakfast choices, plentiful seating in bright room.

The place was clean but the breakfast was fair at best.

Breakfast was not that good. The eggs and bacon was horrible.

Everything was clean and modern, and the free breakfast every morning was a treat. I really appreciated 24hr access to coffee in the lobby as well. Staff was pleasant and professional. My only issues with the room was that the bathroom is tiny ( definitely a one person space) and the bed was a bit hard for my taste. All in all I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was an excellent breakfast and the staff was very pleasant.
